Epsd 7

We both strolled around the gardens and garage for a while checking out dad's truck which to my surprise, Angela could spot the problem that he never thought of.

She tagged into his overoll. Went under the car and in a few minutes. The engine was up running and my dad was to be surprise having his baby back all fully charged.

"Ha... you amaze Woman." I crunched onto my corns watching her finish her magic.

"I'm self-centered. I have all these things that I myself don't realise I know till I come out handy." Said Angela taking off the overoll.

Late on, James came over with his home made fries and steaks. He presumed they were delicious which actually was true. Took each a plate and when we were done, we rambled around the neighbourhood for hours together till we realised how late it was.

Its was evening and yet dawn. We bid james goodnight and went back to the house. Found mom was already back and dad was seated at the coach excitedly waiting for our return.

"Hey girls. Come over here." Dad called on both of us with cash in his hand. "So, Jeff told me what you did. Angela and you deserve a pay."

"Angela deserves the pay." Said I "she came out really handy."

"With your skills. I would love it if you helped me with my work around here and I will pay daily. fifty bucks. Can you take it? As my assistant. "

"Well thank you mr. Daniels. I really needed a job and thank you for the pay today." Said Angela picking the cash from dad's hand.

"That's great. Now let's all have dinner already. And to make this clear. She isn't working during school time Mister." Said mom setting up the table.

"Yeah. Of course she isn't. Only when she is home."

We took our seats at the table. Waited for dinner to be served and i gave a hand to help things go fast. We ate the macaroni with bacon plus cheese then dessert. After dinner we all headed on to sleep. Mom and dad left in the seating room watching there unusual favorite series scandal starring Kerry Washington.

Calling it unusual because they were repeating it for the third time.

Just as a deal. We took on six months as a family. Angela had become my friend not the best but friend. Obviously she couldn't catch up to what me and james had and did everyday. We would hang around her warehouse. She had painted everyone in the house including james and mom was so impressed to the extent of framing all the pieces and hanging them to the walls.

I grew too fond of Angela that I couldn't pass an hour without thinking about what she was doing. The mockery at school about the naked me had suppressed after the principal put up a notice that any bullies were to get expelled and pay fines for mistreatment of there own fellows. Everything was perfect. Fine and incredible until one morning I woke up and got startled by Angela's gaze who was seated right next to my bed.

She had put the chair close to the bed. Her elbow leaning onto the bed with the palm holding her chick as she stared at me.

I was grimmed to the stare and urged for an explanation to why she was and what she was doing in my bedroom.

"I love you too." She repeated twice.

"What! What the hell?" I asked.

"You called out my name." She said. "When I arrive to see what was happening, all you said was I love you Angela. You woke up and I was replying to you."

"No no no.... no....no." no matter how many times she explained it, I wouldn't believe her. It was impossible and stupid. So pathetic.

In three as I was keeping with the disagreement, mom came in rushing and on her stance she asked.

"Why were you screaming out Angela's name like that? We all woke up to your scream." Said she.

"Did I really scream her name?"I asked in terror of being wrong.

"Yeah." Answered Angela. "And guess what she wanted to tell me ms. Daniels. That she!.... loves me." I gazed hard at her with a begging not to tell mom but it had already slipped her lips and wasn't to be taken back.

"What now?" Giggled mom resenting to what Angela had just said. "Did she?"

"I wouldn't do that mom. That's silly." I obliged 

"I don't see anything wrong with that." Said mom as she settled down to my bed. "You being in love with Angela is so obvious. For the passed three montsh. It has been all over your face and guess who pointed it out? Your dad. "

I stared at them both with unbelieving questions to when and how did my mother get to support such a say more so my dad too.

Split out of the sheets and asked both of them to head out of my room for I wasn't going to seat and smile to them conversating about something I had no idea of. It was friday that day and I had cheer leading.

We headed to school and i spent most of my time tied to James reasonably not wanting to see Angela at all including her own shadow.

I didn't tell James a thing for I knew he was to jiggle me. By then we would use Angela's car to head back home since mom was relieved of picking me up regularly.

I left class early so I could miss the unpleasant lift. I took a troll at the road where she found me tired and panting to my knees. She asked me to get in the car and I did just that. I said nothing up to home and when we arrived, I ran up to my bedroom.

It was so obvious that I had become uncomfortable in my own house and seemingly everyone was against me and my beliefs of the words I couldn't alter yet to my own soul.
