I Had My Ways

I woke up feeling cold, the room is still dark you can't even tell if its morning already and Nathan is nowhere to be seen. I got up and take a bath, brush my teeth and do any necessary stuff. I got dress in sports bra and cover it up with a jacket and yoga pants and a running shoes and put my hair into a ponytail. 

I was ready to go when when Berry entered the room. 

"Wahh good morning Luna I'm sorry I didn't knock cuz I thought you were asleep." She apologized with her head bend down. 

"It's ok and you can call me Sha I'm just gonna go downstairs and jog a little." I said and ready to go but she held my hand.

"I have your breakfast here. Please eat or else Alpha Nathan will punish me." Berry pleaded. I could see in her tray consist of eggs, hotdog, sausage, fried rice and an orange juice. Ughhh I need my coffee. 

"She can't punish you. You are his cousin." I said and grab the tray from her. 

"Alpha Nathan punishes people base on their crime either it's related by blood or not." She said. "He told me to give you breakfast or else he might yell at me again." 

"What!?" I yell. "Why would he do that to you?" I asked.

"What can you expect from the future Alpha of the most powerful pack." Berry shrugged.

"Don't worry, I will eat this. You may go. I can bring this to thekitchen later." I smile at her. She tries to disagree but I stop her. She can't do anything tho.

I only ate small amount of food as I'm in the mood to eat large amount of food in the morning, a single cup of coffee is enough. That's why right now I need a freaking coffee. I go downstairs with the tray in my hand as I reach the kitchen only to be faced with Lily the clown bitch.

"Isn't it our human Luna." She snickered at me. I just ignored her and her two minions who eyed me in annoyance. I throw my remaining food in the trash can and go to the sink to place the plate and the utensils.

"How dare you ignore me, dwarf!" She grab my shoulder and pushed me on the wall.

Her height is intimidating but I don't feel it. I just look at her in the eyes.

"I should be the Luna!!" She raised her hand ready to slap me but I kick her leg. She whimper in pain. 

"If you really want to hurt me. You can fight me in the trial." I told her and walk away.

"You can't beat me. I am a warrior wolf and you are just a mere weak human." She growl still massaging her leg.

"Says the girl who whimper in a mere kick of a human." I smirk and walk away leaving her there.

I immediately go to the door leading outside. Last time, it was locked but now it isn't. I open the door to be greeted by fresh air. I slowly walk outside and stretch a little bit to warm up my muscles after that I jog around the area. Some wolves look at me with disgust and some with respect as I pass by. I just think how the 5 humans here are treated. 

Getting bored from jogging, I look at the tall trees and an idea pop up in my head. 

I run deep into the forest and look for the tallest tree. The forest is damp and many wild animals lurk around. When I find the tallest tree, I easily climb up to the very top to see the entire view of the territory Nat have.

I could feel the cold wind hitting my skin, I spread my arms to the side to feel it more. It's really the best place to relax tho it's kinda dangerous. I activated 'zero' and scan the whole community for the future purpose. When I was about to come down when a loud growl erupted making the birds fly away.

Slowly jumping from branch to branch going down. I'm barely close to the middle lenght of the tree when I heard him shouting my name.

"KANISHA!!!" Nathan yelled loudly throughout the forest.

I rolled my eyes. I couldn't see them due to the height I'm currently on.

"I'm here!" I yell back and continue jumping down. When I saw them I'm still far from the ground.

Nat follow my voice and he look up when he saw me his eyes bulge and growl at me.

"What do you think you're doing up there?" He ask. Concern is visible in his handsome face.

"Uhhh sight seeing?" I ask more likely a question. I sat on one of the branch and sway my legs. Teasing him.

"Come down now!" He yell. His eyes turn black now. I think it's his wolf side that keeps on appearing. 

"Why? I'm having fun right now." I pouted. Giving him my childlike attitude. Some of his men are amused in my behavior towards their future Alpha.

"You might get hurt!" He yell at me. I could hear the concern in his voice. Maybe he's scared that I might fall down I could die instantly as humans don't have fast healing but I'm not a human tho.  

Ughh He really thinks I'm super weak but it's understandable tho.

"Come now!" He stretch his arms to catch me up if I jump off the tree but I wouldn't do that it would be boring so I do a little trick to them. I hope Nat won't be mad at me after I do this. Here we go. 

"Oh, A rogue!" I shout and point at the direction of a rabbit. All their heads snap at the direction that I was pointing. That's my cue to jump 20 ft. below, landing on my right knee in a kneel position and roll over and stand up.

They look back at me as Nat is ready to pounced any rough at the moment. They all look shocked to see me standing there unharmed.

"How did you ---" Nathan said but I put my index finger in his lips.

"I had my ways." and I kiss his cheeks. He stiffened tho hahaha. His men also look away while holding a laugh. I could see Nat's ears turns red. He didn't say anything, I think he's in a shocked mode.

I grab his hands and i pull him back, the sparks in where are skin contacts makes me giggly. I think he's also battling with himself as I could see his eyes turning black to blue.

"I plan to do some exercise today, wanna show me your gym if you have any." I said as I break the silence between us. He look at me and shake his head. 

"Let's go." He said as he tighten his grip on my hand and pull me to his gym.

Is this like a date?
