My Heart Skipped A Beat

So after Cora emerge in my room she quickly left and that leaves us in a awkward position. I stand up and Nat did too.

"Sooo, I think we should go." I said. I immediately grab my duffel bags but Nat grab if from me. 

"I should carry this, talk to your friend first." He said. I just nod and go out to find Cora and explain somethings to her as Nat carry my Duffel bags and boxes to be put in the car.

I find Cora in the balcony feeling relaxed. I slowly go to her.

"Time is gold Sha, you should treasure what you have now before it ends.'' Cora said. She look back at me and smile so wide.

"Can you let me explain first." I giggled a bit.

"Okay." Cora said as he sip a glass of orange juice.

"That guy is a werewolf." After I said it, Cora nearly puke the juice that she's drinking.

"What? You mean the wolves that can transform into a human?" Cora asked with a confused face.

"Yes, I'm surprised too that their race is still alive and let me tell you, there are many of them." I said while looking at the waves.

"Then why are you with him?" Cora said in a whisper tone and look back to check if Nat is there.

"He said that I'm his Mate, his other half given by the Moon Goddess." I said.

"Wow, that really complicate stuff now. What would you do if the time comes that you know---." I stop her as I heard Nat's footstep coming towards us. 

"I'll deal with it and also for the mission, I can do it. Also let Tinna know that I'll gonna resign for the job." I said it in a very low voice. Nat appear after I said it and motion me to come to him.I stand up and went to him, he instantly put his arms around my waist and he smell my hair. Cora witness the interaction between us and she smile weakly. I know she's thinking about it too but I smile widely at her to let her know that everythings fine. She just nodded.

I bid Cora goodbye with a hug and kiss on her cheeks. Also, Nat gives permission for Cora to use the beach house as a thank you for taking care of me.

Nat and I goes to the car, his hands still stay on my waist the whole time around. He open the door for me to let in, I instantly smell his mint scent in his car. He also goes to his side and started the engine. We stay silent for a while, he seemed troubled too, I'm afraid that he heard our conversation.

I just don't mind it tho, I'm just gonna deal to what events will gonna happened but first I need to focus on finishing my mission. This thing got my mind to be tired again, I didn't notice that I fall asleep for the second time. 

Zzzzz....

I could feel someone tap my shoulders but I shrug it off. Tsk why is this person bothering my sleeping time. Then that person shrug my shoulders harder so I instantly open my eyes and get ready to punch who ever disturb my precious sleep but when I do I saw the most beautiful blue eyes and the delicious lips that I want to ki--. Okay what the F am I thinking.

"You gonna punch me, love?" He said while smirking. His face is only an inch from mine so I instantly push him away and he chuckled.

"No." I said and look away.

He just smirk and got out, I open the door too. I see him holding my duffel bags and the boxes. 

"I can help." I said. I feel bad that he took it all but you know he should feel bad for kidnapping me too.

"I can manage."He said coldly. I also notice the difference of his aura. Like when we are alone or away from the eyes of his pack members, he seemed calm and relax and also very warm to me but if we're in his territory and with a presence of his pack members, he instanly becomes cold and distant to me and treat me like dirt.

He walk very fast away from he, I just follow him but due to my short legs, I kind of like jogging here. I also didn't say a word tho. I follow him until we reach the room that I'm located, he put the duffel bags and boxes and he leaves immediately without saying a word to me. He's like a complete different person. Tho I let him be.

There are 8 big boxes laying on the floor and two Duffel bags but I'm not in the mood in arranging my things but I needed to. Ughh.

I stump my foot as I go to open the nearest box containing my clothes with a hanger attached to it. Yeah, I'm so lazy that I didn't take it off.

I grab a bunch of it and open the door separating the closet. The closet was huge and when I mean huge, you can actually have a party in here or have a grand ball, you can even play basketball here. The other side was Nathan's closet and the other side was mine. It was separated by a sliding mirror. The walls are all white.

I put my clothes, shoes, bags and my jeweleries etc. I hid my duffel bag that contains my sinful weapons behind my clothes and I make sure to hide them well. I also put my important stuff in the drawer and put the Duffel bag in my bag shelves and neatly fold the boxes so it can be used again. 

I finished arranging my stuff for at least 30 minutes. The faster it's done the longer I rest. Logic.

I lazy walk towards the bed and slump myself face first. My head buried in one of his pillows. I inhale his mint scent. Ohhhh so goooood. 

A loud bang in the door disturb my moment with the pillow. I look up and saw Nathan looking handsome as ever.

He caught me staring at him and he smirk. I roll my eyes. He stride towards me and sat on the bed and he place me on his lap like a baby.

"You can't do that." I wiggled at his lap.

"Stop wiggling." He said in a hoarse voice. Then that's when I feel something poking my thigh. 

I blush so hard, I imagine his hard banana poking at me wahhh. Okay stop thirsty thought, stop.

I stop wiggling and look at his eyes which is now purely coated black. I cupped is face and caress it. 

"What's the problem?" I ask. He seems stressed.

"The pack.... they are expecting  the acceptance trial in two days. " He said tiredly and snuggle his face in my neck. I let out a giggle and shove his head away from my neck.

"What trial?" I ask. His eyes turned blue again.

"It's a trial for those who wants to join the pack. I told them you were excused but they insist especially that you are a human and they want to make sure you aren't a threat and be loyal to the pack." He said and ran a hand to his hair.

"I'm fine with that." I assured him. "What I find it funny is because they didn't make a ruckus that a human will join their pack." 

"Ironically, there are 5 human mates here in RockMoon pack but they're not treated like most she-wolves but they are fine with it due to the fact that they are mated to our wolves." Nathan said.

"Did they do the trial." I ask.

"No." He breath. "but they want you to do it because the rumors says that you are the Luna and I won't deny it." He said proudly.

My heart skip a beat. He didn't deny me. I wanna do I happy dance right now.

"They want a strong Luna to bring glory to the strongest and brutal pack. The RockMoon pack." He continued. His voice lace with pride.

"So you think I'm weak that you don't want me to do the trial?" I ask mockingly.

He didn't reply. 

That angered me. I stood up only to be pulled by a strong hand.

"I just don't want you to be hurt." He said and caress my cheeks. Wel, that is understandable to tha fact that he thinks that I'm just a human.

"I can handle myself Nathan." I said harshly. He sigh in defeat.

"There are different trials for every pack and our acceptance trial consist of fighting." He said and seemed troubled.

"I can do it. Trust me." I snuggle myself to him feeling comfortable.

He looked at me hesitantly but say no more.

Later that night, Nat prepare us some food to be eaten inside the room. It would be nice if we could eat it by the window. I think I might suggest a renovationin this room if I'm gonna stay here for  a long time. After we eat, we alternately take a shower and do some more necessities. We cuddle in bed that night and I might say it was a good sleep I had in my life.
