I accepted.
At first it was super awkward but later on we adjust little by little and now we are inseparable. There are times that we argued but instantly he'll apologize which is still new to me even now.
It's like living in heaven and that's what I'm afraid of. When life is too good for sure something bad will happened soon.
Maybe I'm over thinking but it's better to be prepared than nothing.
Right now, I'm standing behind the door leading outside which was loaded with Nathan's pack and my fellow assassins.
I stared at my well manicured nails. Shit, I think I'm gonna pee.
Today, Nathan decided that I will be presented to the pack as their Luna. At first I still don't wanna do it but I think it's for the best.
Most of Nathan's pack members accepted me and they treated me better but some are still afraid and keep their distance. What can I say, Nathan just blurted out that my true identity is a Lamia. Of course they are frightened but I showed them I meant no harm but not for Lily-the-bitch I still hate her.
Let's go back to my current situation.
I'm wearing a white dress with gold flower and leaves designs. The top is fitted with a sweet heart neckline with a golden belt, the bottom is a balloon type that flows when you turn around. I dyed my hair blonde again but my hair is still in the same length and style. I apply a simple make up to complete the look and make my green jade eyes pop more. I look at myself in the mirror, I'm skinny but I'm in great shape other than the right size boobs but sadly, no butt.
A knock on the door disturb my peace and it turns out to be Cora. Cora told me that after I go out to find the jackass, she became so worried that she reach out to Nat to aid help finding me which is why I see her with Nat. She also told me that she gave Jack a chance to be his Mate which is I'm happy for her because I know that she wants it badly, tho I think she takes her time accepting Jack but it's their business.
"Sha better hurry up, the presentation will start in 10 minutes." Both of us will be presented today, well I am the center but she's also the Gamma Female and I think the role is perfect for Cora, she is good with battle strategies.
"Okay, I'll go out after I wear my heels." I said and she leaves. I wear my 3 inch heels which makes me 5'3 still short tho. Walking outside this room makes my heart beat so fast, it's 6:00 pm today and everyone is gathering outside waiting for us. As I'm near the front door of the pack house, Nat is there waiting for me with a smile on his face. He looks so happy. I slowly approach him and he held his hand for me to take. "You look gorgeous, my Love." As he said those words, an instant pain hit my head as I lost my balance. Good thing Nat is able to catch me. "Are you okay, love?" Concern is evident on Nat's face.
"I'm fine, just little nervous." I smiled at him but still he looks very concern. "Let's go. " I smile again at him and kiss his cheeks which he blush a little. His ears is bright red.
Nat open the door for us to walk to the mini stage infront of us. I could see men, women and children are all standing there anticipating our arrival. That got me thinking, if Nat is only the future Alpha then Nat's dad is the current Alpha but I didn't even see them or even their glimpse and Nat also do the Alpha duties which is kind of odd. Well I think I might as him soon about this topic.
As we are near to the crowd, they all stand still with their hands on their back even the kids did the same with is cute by the way. Drake and her mate is also there I forgot her name, Jack and Cora is also there waiting for us. Cora is fidgeting her light blue A-line dress which suit her very well, I guess she is also nervous.
Nat lead me on the stairs into the mini stage which is made of wood and the surrounding is designed in white and gold with little lights around us. There are lanterns at the sides to give us some light but caught me the most is the food on the left side. There are many dishes that you can named and the smell oh gosh, I felt drooling. Nat squeeze my hand and that brings me to reality. Gosh I might accidentally make a fool of myself because of food.
I face the crowd and they are so many of them, like hundreds to thousands. I didn't know this pack hold a lot people. I think I needed to explore this pack more. In the crowd I see the boy I saved that time when the rogue attack. He grow up so fast, I smile at him and he smile back while maintaining his posture.
"My beloved RookMoon pack, thank you for attending this important event that would bring glory and honor to our name. The Moon Goddess create Luna a woman who will be the partner and the one who will be at the side of an Alpha, a woman to complete a pack, without it a pack will fall and crumble. I know most of you still doubt about the race of this woman but she's the one that the Moon Goddess gave me and the one who will rule this pack with me. I present to you Kanisha Waters the future Luna of RockMoon pack." Nat's voice boomed, so strong and full of pride, a true leader but you know I really appreciate Nat's words but fuck it he didn't say anything about me giving a speech. I'm not ready!!! =_=
Everyone clap and cheers around us as they look at me. I look at Nathan and I could tell that he's very happy with that full smile he's showing right now.
