Chapter one

2020-10-26 01:23:14I woke up in the morning and the day was kind of cloudy, I could hear my alarm ringing continuously. I jumped out of my bed immediately and checked the time, it says 7 on dot.
Oh fuck!, I said in an alarming tone. Am late for school, it will take me 20minutes to dress up, another 30minutes to reach school.
I jerked the door of my bathroom open with my left leg, enter the bathroom, open my mouthwash and pour a little quantity inside my mouth and giggle for some seconds before spitting out into the sink. I undress myself and took a fast shower, after that I ran out of the bathroom naked to lock the door of my room because I know that any moment from now my mum will barge into my room with a bucket of water to pour on my head.
After making sure the door is locked, I put on a casual clothes, picked my school bag from the nightstand sitting at side of the room and hurried downstairs into the kitchen.
I got into the kitchen and sit down at the table on some level, while mom was busy with tea she is making and to be honest, the aroma coming from the tea is enough for me to satisfied.
Mom pours the tea inside a brown mug. "How'd you sleep? She asked, stirring the tea.
"Pretty well, I answered her.
Yeah! Any moment from now and you will be late for school if you are not fast. She said, adding a teaspoon of brown sugar inside my tea.
Thanks mum, I said sarcastically. I took the cup, lift it to my mouth and gulped some quantity inside my mouth.
Not upto a second, I spit it out back. Fuck! You didn't warn me it is still hot, I said in a tone that tells am about to cry. My tongue was burning like hell.
"Language, my mom said holding her laughter.
I blinked, "sorry, I said.
My mum mimic me, and poke my head. "Didn't you see the smoke coming from the mug? she asked, raising her eyebrow.
Okay mum, you know I am in a rush to get to school. I said, standing up from the table, I gave my mum a fast peck on her cheek and jogged out of the house.
Everyday, I would jog from my house to school, already a habit of me, despite the fact that my mum wanted to buy me a bicycle for my sixteen years birthday but I disagreed but now am really regretting the decline. I was so happy when I saw my school building. I continued running until I bumped into something.
Oh my God! "I'm so sorry, I said bumping into someone causing his books to fall. I bowed down immediately and picked up his books and guy who I bumped into also helped in picking his books.
"I'm so sorry, I said again. It is Mr Robert that caused this rubbish now, I thought to myself, handing his books back to him. I held my head up and saw a perfect looking, cute but pale guy looking at mine. Since I am rushing, I don't have time to drool over him so I stood up and make my way toward the third class at my right handside.
"Thanks, he yelled at me. he said smirking at me.
What! Did he just smirk at me, or are my eyes deceiving me? I asked myself in a surprise tone but that smirk did made me blush a little bit.
C'mon flora, stop daydreaming. I said, snapping my forehead with my fingers.
"You welcome. I said, waving my hands at him.

After all my classes,the day went fast. I had promised myself that this Monday I won't be late to Mr Robert calculus class and am proud of myself for achieving that.I entered the class before Mr Robert could,I made my way towards my seat,I am sitting at the third row close to the window with no one to be my seat partner because they believed that am a nerd. It's not that am not happy about it, infact if you should ask me how I feel,I feel like the most happiest girl alive,no one to disturb me when writing or distract me when an explanation is going on in the class.i make myself comfortable on my chair, drop my school bag on the empty seat beside me,open it and brought out my note. I can see the class turning upside down with their noise and dragging of chairs just because they wants to copy each other's homework and the funniest part of it all is that some are copying the wrong solution.
