Paid 02: The Offer

It's sucks that I've been living with my own, waking up everyday with my own. My Mom is in the province while my Dad is with his legal family. I am the illegal child of him because my Dad cheated on his wife. And that's how I exist in this world. How ironic, right?

This is also the reason why don't I get a friends to hangout with, I am too embarrassed whenever they asked me what's my parents like? And where are they?

But all of it doesn't really matter to me, as long as my Dad support my expenses. He doesn't let me starve, I have material things that I wanted and I studied and prestigious school like Aristotle College. But of course you know... I, somehow feel envy with others, especially when I see my Dad and my half-sister Tatiana in school. But I just shrugged it off.

I somehow, learned to deal my heart ache alone... But not, when I've met this guy named Timothy. He is annoying and center attention guy. I've never thought that he will melt my heart-like-stone heart. 

Timothy Jeon is a player, jerk, heartless and heartbreaker guy I know. Well, to be honest he's not like that before. But since when I heard the rumors spreading that Tiana and him broke up he changed and it's in a bad way.

I cannot understand him that he wants to be his girlfriend.

He's been pursuing me to be his fake-girlfriend for straight a week now. Because he wanted back my half-sister in his life. And speaking of, I rolled my eyes when I saw him again. He is waiting me in the gate of this school. Seriously? At this morning?

"What now Mister Jeon?" I said to him, while I crossed my arms to my chest.

"I told you to find another woman! Not me," I complained. Before I proceed to walk again.

He block my way and I start to get annoyed. "Name it," He said.

My forehead creased as I look at up to him. "Huh?" What are he talking about? 

"Name what you want and I will give it to you whole-heartedly just be my fake girlfriend. I cannot believe that I'm chasing you for this." He mumbled the last words but I hear it.

"Then don't chase me, and don't waste time on me neither. Because no matter what you do. You won't get me as your fake-girlfriend." I told him before I leave him in the hall dumd-founded.

I don't want to get involved with him and specially with my half-sister. I don't know if Timothy was aware that Tatiana is my half-sister, though? It seems like he doesn't know about it. But I really don't care.

Tatiana and I talk about this before. She doesn't want to get involved with me, and she also doesn't want to know others that she was my sister because she doesn't feel like it.

I sit in the class, listening attentively to the Professor in front of me. 

If Tatiana knew about this I know it will be trouble some.

Maybe on her point of view, I was the one who flirted her ex-boyfriend, Timothy. Everyone here in the campus shipped them.

As the classes is done. I head out first and went to the library, school is been a part of my life while the library is my best friend. Books are like my escapes for reality. My only friend here which is Rhea is absent today. So, I don't have anyone to talk to. But I don't mind.

I greeted the librarian when I entered the library, the smell of the books rushed to my nose along the smell of the cold air from air conditioner. this library is like a paradise to me, because it give me peace of my mind. 

I walked to the path between the two shelves, running my fingers to the books. As I caress the books with my fingertips, I heard a lip smacks and soft moans. I peek on the little hole in the book shelves only to see a couple that making-out and they seemed enjoying each other's business. 

But seriously? In the library? I sighed, deeply while shaking my head in disgust. I gasped when the lady start to moan the guy's name. 

"Tim, oh my.." I'm not eaves-dropping my goodness! I listen to them for awhile after I took some book that I needed for biology and rushed out of the aisle and sat down with the book I chose.

I took a deep sighed, trying to calm my nerves! And so what if I saw them making-out huh? It's unintentional! 

My heart starts to beat faster that it scares me to death! This is the first time to witnessed a scene like that and I am totally disgusted! I've seen a lot of kissing scenes in movies but seeing like that in personal makes me feel... Un-comfortable..

After a few moments, they slowly went out of the hidden aisle part of the library which make me feel relieved. 

I cannot believe that girl! She acts like it was nothing happened! What a pro huh? When she completely out of the room, Timothy followed her track out of the room. As I thought that they were already gone, I stood up to return the book but someone blocked my way and I exclaimed in shock! 

His curly hair is little bit mess, lips are little reddish from the girl's lipstick. "You saw us, aren't you." It's not a question but a statement.

I shrugged, "Don't worry, I won't tell anyone." I uttered. His jaw is clenching while he glares at me, shaking his head.

"You're re so difficult to please," He murmured. Looking away, hands on his pockets.

My forehead creased, "I don't know what you're talking... about," I didn't finish what I'm trying to say when he leaves me here dumb-founded.
