Chapter 4: Officially Enrolled

2020-10-25 10:47:35After the cute fight between Bella and Neil, they decided to call me Sydney, suggested by Neil. He said that it was supposed to be the name of their daughter when they have one. He decided that it would be a waste if no one used it so he gave it to me. I like the name Sydney Strauss. They used their surname Strauss because they want to be my parents until I remember my old ones.
Neil dropped us to the mall and went to work on my documents. Apparently this couples are quite rich. They owned the mall where we are in now.
"Sydney, come try this one" shouted Bella. I eyed the dress she was showing me. It was a white plain sleeveless dress but it looks so elegant. I went to the fitting room and wore the dress. It hugged my curves perfectly and it bring out my black hair.
"Aahhhhh! you look amazing my dear!"exclaimed Bella. I was stunned too. Wow this dress really is for me. We roamed around for almost two hours and we have a lot of shopping bags now.
"Let's put the bags on the car and wait for Neil at the restaurant" said Bella. We ordered food for lunch and then waited for Neil. "I have a gift for you" said Bella. I was surprised, what could that be? I smiled and took the bag she was giving me. "I really am thankful, you've given me too much already" I said almost teary eyed. She gave me a cellphone and a laptop. It's an iPhone 12, and a Mcbook Pro. "It was nothing, besides you need it, now that you're going to school" she added. She hugged me and I gratefully hugged her back.
"Hello ladies" I look up and saw Neil standing holding an envelope. "What did I miss?" he added. "Ohh. Nothing we're just hugging as you can see. Sit now, we ordered food" said Bella.
I took the envelope and look at my birth certificate. It feels nice to have my own name and family now.
After we ate, we went to the university named Ivy University. "We are sponsoring this university, so that means half of this is ours." explained Neil. We went inside and was immediately greeted by a lady, probably the guidance counselor.
"Good afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Strauss, what can I do for you?"
"Im here to enroll my daughter, she will start tommorow" explained Neil.
"Sir you shouldn't have come here, you can just call me and its done" replied the guidance. "It's okay just tell the principal that Sydney Strauss is already enrolled here"
"Yes sir" bowed the guidance. We left the school and was about to go home."Do you want to explore the school first?" asked Bella. "No Im fine, lets just head home, besides we have lots of work to do" I smiled at them. We head home after that and started unpacking the shopping bags.
I have my own full closet now. Thanks to them I can start new. I hope that tommorow will be great. I slept early because my energy was drained.

I was sitting on the bed when the woman walked in."I brought you some clothes for later. Come down when you're done we'll be leaving after breakfast"I was confused for a bit then I remembered. We were supposed to go shopping for my clothes today. Before she left I asked her. "I.. I haven't really asked your name" I said suddenly felt ashamed.She laughed seeing me uncomfortable and said. "Im Isabelle, you can call me Bella and my husband is Neil" she smiled and finally closed the door probably going to the kitchen.I washed my face remembering what Bella said. I really need to hurry here, they might be waiting for me. I picked the toothbrush and begin to brush my teeth. I changed my clothes and wore the jeans but its a bit loose. I am a bit skinnier than Bella.I walk outside the room and ventured my way to the kitchen. This house is big, I passed two more rooms before I arrived at the staircase. Wow, this house or rather mansion screams elegance.
