Clarify

“No, I can't say now. Go alone with Jess. It should be a good movie. Have fun. ”Andy wanted to know why we didn't go, but I couldn't tell him. I'd rather bite my tongue off than tell him that I was arguing with Nick - even though he probably suspected it anyway. Nick's eyes narrowed. When he realized who was on the phone, he snatched the phone out of my hand and looked at the display. Since I hadn't saved Andy's number, you couldn't see a name, just a number.

My eyes widened when I saw Nick just hang up.

"Why is your fucking ex calling you? I thought you already spoke up, so what DAMN is there to talk about? ”He yelled at me.

I grabbed my cell phone from his hand again.

"He and Jess wanted to go to the cinema with us," I hiss at him.

"I'm not going to the movies with the spas," he shouted angrily, then he walked past me to the refrigerator, opened it and took another glass out of the cupboard, so that a few others fell over and it rattled loudly.

I turned to him and saw that he was pouring whiskey into a large glass.

Wasn't he serious ?! When I saw that, I couldn't hold back any longer. I walked up to him and - while he poured the liquid into the glass - tore the bottle from his hand, so that some of the whiskey landed on the sideboard.

He spun around to me, snatched the bottle from my hand and slammed it loudly on the table. And as if nothing had happened, he picked up the glass. But before he could take a sip, I knocked the glass out of his hand, whereupon it fell on the floor and shattered into thousands of splinters.

“We have something to clarify and you are immediately thinking about drinking again. You don't have them all anymore! ”I shouted at him with all my heart. Tears formed in my eyes because I was so angry.

"Get out of here!" He hissed at me with his jaw clenched. Then he picked up the bottle again and took a long swig from it.

I tried to take the bottle from him, but he reacted quickly enough and grabbed my arm. I wanted to tear myself away, which resulted in a tussle over the bottle.

The whiskey spilled over and landed on my face.

I started screaming and wanted to wipe the liquid off my face, but since Nick was pressing me against the wall and my arms were clamped between our bodies, it didn't work. I kept screaming and tried to push him away. Tears ran down my cheeks and I could have cried really loudly, but I tried to pull myself together.

"JOLINA CALM DOWN!" Nick called as I was still trying to tear myself away.

"Don't-touch-me-you-ASSHOLE!" I yelled.

He grabbed my shoulders and I tried to push him away from me again. With all my strength I made it so that the bottle fell to the floor between us. But it did not break. I wiped my face with my sleeve. He let go of me and took a step back. I immediately moved to the side and wanted to run into the hall when he grabbed my shoulder again, whereupon I slapped his hand away.

"I hate you! Drown in your alcohol! ”I yelled at him again.

Then I ran to the door, yanked it open and ran out of the house.

I took the train home that Saturday. Nick apologized to me a few times during the week. First he wrote me an SMS on Sunday evening. That wasn't exactly apologetic. He said he was just in a bad mood and then blamed it all on drugs. That he was only so weird because he'd taken a pill before.

I did not answer him on this stupid sms!

On Wednesday he wrote me two messages apologizing and claiming that he didn't mean to hurt me and that it was out of control. Apparently he was sorry.

At half past twelve on Thursday he asked me if I could come to him the following day. I woke up because of it and just wrote him "NO" back. Then I turned off my cell phone so I could go back to sleep.

Nick wrote to me again at school just before the last break started. He wrote that he had already finished and would pick me up at the school right away.

I was surprised. He had never picked me up at school and I had written to him last night that I didn't want to come. I didn't know if I should answer him, but the more I thought about it, the more I was sure that he would either not be there or be late. I definitely didn't want to wait! And when he was drunk again, I would definitely go home.

The doorbell rang at the end of the lesson. Everyone left the classroom quickly. I was one of the last.

I walked down the school hall and then outside. When I got to the parking lot in front of the school, I noticed that a few people were still standing in front of the school and in the parking lot. As I passed a small group of girls, I noticed that they were all looking towards the parking lot.

As I followed her gaze, I saw Nick leaning against his car in dark blue jeans, dark brown boots and a tight white t-shirt - through which you could easily guess his muscles. He wore a silver bracelet and a silver ring. He stood there as if he belonged right there ... in front of his black sports car.

When he saw me and I walked up to him, he took another drag on his cigarette and then threw it on the floor. I noticed the looks of some students attached to me. I stopped a little in front of him and looked at him.

He took a step towards me and his golden eyes bored deep into mine. He raised his hand and stroked my cheek gently, then pushed my hair back a little. My heart rate increased immediately.

How did he manage to keep me under his spell?

I immediately forgot that I was still mad at him.

"Hey," I heard him say very nicely.

"Hey," I whispered. He let go of me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him then.

He smiled slightly. "Pick you up. I want you to come with me, okay?"

I nodded not on drugs or had something to drink, I saw that. Since it had been a long time since I had seen him like this and spent time with him, I didn't want to send him away again. So I nodded.

"But I have to mine first Bring things at home. "

He smiled." All right. Then let's get out of here! "Just as I was about to answer, I heard a very familiar snooty voice next to me.

" Hey Jolina. "It was Carissa. We both could already Not standing for years. How and why it had started, I didn't know anymore.

I just looked at her until she looked from me to Nick and posed demonstratively.

"Don't you want to introduce us?" I guess she'd be happy. I didn't answer her again, so Nick asked me from de eyed his side and then turned to Carissa.

“I'm Nick. Nice to meet you. ”Carissa smiled all over her face when Nick introduced himself to her.

"Carissa. I'm glad too. ”She pronounced her name as sweetly as she could. I even thought I saw her wink slightly at him. She really had no shame! “I'm in the same class with Jolina. I live around the corner from her. ”She smiled at Nick.
