When we got downstairs, Noah and I overheard a conversation between a very angry Jess and a very relaxed Jenna.

“You lousy snake. You'll regret that. ”Sven tried to calm her down. But she didn't listen to him. Until Tara pushed her aside a little and Jess glared at her and then she said something for the first time.

“Jenna, you've gone too far. Jonas told me that Nick was addicted. Do you understand? He quit for Jolina and was gone for a couple of weeks trying to get away from it. He's been able to hold out for so long and now he's taken something because of you. What if he relapses now? Then it's your fault. ”She looked intently at Jenna and Jenna even listened to her.

“It was his pills, as if he hadn't taken anything the whole time, you don't really think Tara that. You know him as well as I do. ”Tara nodded.

“Exactly, and that's why I know he didn't take anything. I saw him today and so did you. He was fine. You have to let him go! He loves someone else and not you and you know that too! He told you. “Now I was surprised, had he told her? I continued to listen to Tara as she talked to her so calmly and the others seemed just as impressed that no one gave a peep, everyone looked at her.

“Go home now, you only need a few minutes and I'll go with the others okay? I'll come by tomorrow, or rather today, and we'll talk again. "Jenna nodded.

" I'll go back tomorrow. I'm not staying here for the holidays. Will you come to visit me next weekend anyway? ”Tara nodded with a smile and then hugged her.

“Of course I will. You won't lose me. I'll come by later anyway. Come home safely. "Jenna nodded in her embrace and then turned around without looking at either of us again and disappeared at the next corner and Tara turned to us and looked at everyone at each other.

"Man, that was awesome the way you talked to her. Almost as if you had hypnotized her. ”Sven said, shaking his head.

"I know how to talk to her so that she understands." Tara looked at me.

"I'm sorry." She apologized for Jenna. I shook my head.

"You can't help it." I looked at Jess who sighed.

"Yes, you can't help it." Tara smiled at her.

"And do you still want to have breakfast with us?" Jonas asked in silence, who smiled at her, so that Tara nodded with a smile. Then he held out his hand to her and she took it. Jess and Sven looked at me grinning that I involuntarily had to be happy. Although I just didn't feel like it afterwards. I looked up at the flat so Jess saw it and came to me.

"Let's go." I heard Noah say.

"Hey sweetie, he'll calm down again and then he'll get in touch with you and ME too." She grinned at me. I thought it was really great that she wasn't even mad at him, although she only wanted to help me and he had therefore kicked her out with him. Sven came to us and pulled us with the other three.

After a few minutes we sat together at a large table and had breakfast together. More or less. All three of the boys were really hungry, we girls were less hungry and I pushed my two waffles from one side to the other.

"Why don't you eat anything, you must be hungry." Jess said to me and I just shrugged my shoulders. We've been here for twenty minutes and I didn't feel like it anymore. I kept thinking about Nick the whole time. Played back in my head all evening. We had so much fun together and with the others. And yet Nick's birthday had ended in disaster the way he had done it. It couldn't be! What was he doing now, whether he had calmed down?

"Hey Jo, don't you think that the birthday was actually pretty good until the end?" Noah asked and I looked up.

“Yes.” Jonas and I said at the same time and then looked at each other. We all laughed so Jonas looked at Noah.

"Who did you mean now?" Noah laughed.

"You can choose your own, you both answered the same anyway, so it doesn't matter." He laughed again.

"I think more that he meant you." I said to Jonas who nodded.

“I think too, because I've never heard anyone call you Jo, except for Nick and Jess. And Noah definitely not and he often calls me that. ”I smiled at him. JOnas. That I hadn't even noticed, that was clearly that Jo was his nickname. Only I had never heard someone speak to him like that.

"Nick actually calls you Jo sometimes." Jonas started to laugh.

"Oh god no ... that would be yes ... no." He started laughing again and then pointed at Noah.

“I can still remember the first time Nick spoke about you. He was sitting at the bar with Noah and I was a little behind him. So he said. ”He stopped talking because he had to laugh again and Noah rolled his eyes and now everyone was listening to him.

“Jo is really cool. A great figure. Don't you think Noah looked at him weird and Nick just kept talking. Noah always looked at him in horror. Of course I knew he was talking about you and then I came to his aid. Have the drugs clouded your brain now or why are you talking shit like that? Did Noah say something to him and Nick was horrified that he said something like that. I then stood up to them laughing and said to Noah: Dude, he's talking about the little one. From David's cousin. Nick looked at Noah in shock and asked him if he thought he was talking about me and Noah also said yes. Nick asked him if he had ever heard he called me JO. Noah never called me that again, except twice when it was full, but you weren't there. ”Now everyone started to laugh and I looked at Noah in amusement, who rolled his eyes.

"How should I know, I didn't even know your name." I took my bag on the shot and rummaged around in it until I realized that I still had my Insolin things and my jacket with Nick.

"Are you okay?" Asked Sven who was sitting next to me, I looked at him.

"I forgot my Insolin with Nick." He looked at me confused.

“My syringe. I need it when I have lunch afterwards. ”Sven nodded.

“But that's not a good idea now when you go to Nick. Or we'll come with you. ”I shook my head and took out my cell phone and texted Nick. That I still have my portfolio with him and that I could pick it up at four at the latest. It took a while before I got an answer. He wrote to me that he would bring it to me later. My heart suddenly started beating. I really wanted to see him and now! So I put my cell phone in and looked at Jess. So why did she always get nervous when it came to the subject of my illness. She would be the last to say anything!

"I have to go back, I left my portfolio with Nick." Jess looked at me with wide eyes.

“Do you need it now? Crap. Let's call a taxi quickly. ”I shook my head.

"What's going on?" Jonas asked now.

"Jolina left her spritz stuff with you." Sven informed him.

"Do you have to take it now?" Asked Jonas. I shook my head.

“But I'll need it later. I'll go to you and get it. ”

“ Alone? ”I heard Jess say now. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.

"Yes, I wrote to Nick and told him so. He knows. ”I took the two waffles and wrapped them in the napkin and got up.

“I'm waiting, come with you, I have to go to bed. Are you still staying here? ”Noah said suddenly and got up.

Jonas looked at Tara and then nodded.

"We'll have breakfast together and then I'll bring Tara home later." Noah nodded. He didn't even ask Jess and Sven. I got my money out of my pocket, but Sven held my hand.

"I'll do that. Good luck." He winked at me and I nodded and then waited for Noah and we made our way back.
