I knew

Nick wrote to me the same evening that he was going to Toni's for a few more days, but would be back by the weekend and then I should come to the inauguration party of the shared apartment.

The next day at school Sven's friend Rafael spoke to me in front of Carissa. That didn't look bad when he came to me. He told me that Sven would come back on Friday and that the two of them wanted to go away together. I didn't know why he told me that. After school he offered to take me with him because he had found out from Sven that he lived one house away from me. We talked the whole time during the drive. He wanted to know if Sven was with Jess, but I told him that she had a boyfriend and he wanted to know if she didn't like him because she was so bitchy with him. I explained to him that she was always like that in the beginning and that she didn't like me either. Sven's friend was really nice.

Thursday evening Jess called me and told me that she would come with Sven on Friday. That the four of us could then go away, that she had to get out of home again. I thought the idea was good and was looking forward to it.

Friday evening was kind of funny. Jess was in a bad mood all the time and had her phone in hand the whole time. What kept ringing, so that she was really annoyed. Sven only talked to Rafael the whole time. It was actually pointless to go away. Then Jess said shortly after one that she had to go back today. I was amazed that Sven only had a glass of beer at the beginning of the evening and otherwise only Coke. Jess said she was stressed with Andy. Rafael and I walked home and talked. When I came in at home, my father was still awake and told me that he would go to Uncle Tom tomorrow and then look at an apartment, although I had not yet decided to move here. I was already looking forward to tomorrow, it would be funnier again and I could see Nick again.

On Saturday my father took me to the flat.

When I got to the flat and got out of the car, my father looked at me.

"Are you coming home from here?" I nodded, smiling.

“Of course it's not that far and Jess is still there. I think we'll go together again. ”My father nodded.

"Then I wish you a lot of fun."

"Thanks." I smiled at him again. Locked the car door and went to the house and rang the bell, my father waited until the door was opened and I went in. I had to go up a short flight of stairs towards a door. Nick had opened "Hey Jo." He greeted me.

"Hi." I smiled at him and he read me through.

"It's all in the living room." I nodded but stopped by him when he closed the door again and then looked at him.

"Left?" I asked.

"Oh yes, you haven't even been here yet." He answered me, so I nodded.

"A little tour?" He asked with a smile.

"Sure, please." I said and he came next to me.

"So ..." he started.

"Right up here is the bathroom, but everyone looks the same." He opened the door briefly so that I could look in and then he said.

"So, let's go to the next room." I nodded and followed him. He pointed to a door.

"A small storage room." He said as he walked by. The next room was the kitchen. When we stopped at the door and I looked inside, I saw Jenna with her friend and Jonas standing in there.

"Hi Jolina." Jonas greeted me when he saw us. Jenna and Tara just looked at me. That's why I only greeted Jonas.

"Thrown together a bit, because a few things were already in and we just got the missing things." I heard Nick say next to me.

"Yes," I said with a laugh.

"You can see that." Nick laughed too and then pointed to a small side room of the kitchen.

"This is our little dining room." I walked over to it and looked around.

There was just a large table with lots of blue chairs and a blue shelf with crockery stacked on top of each other. Otherwise the room was completely empty. I went back to Nick at the kitchen door, so we went back into the hallway. Nick pointed down the hall to the back three doors.

"The one straight ahead is Jonas Zimmer, the one on the right is Noah's and the one on the left mine." He smiled at me, so I did the same.

"And now." He continued.

"The last and most beautiful room in the apartment, the living room." He walked in with me and I saw that Noah was sitting with two guys on the big black sofa. Sven on an armchair. He looked up when we came in.

"Hey." He just said. Nick said to him:

“I just showed Jo the booth. She's never been here before. ”I looked around the living room. They only had black and white furniture, white cupboards, black shelves, a white sofa table and two black sofas and a white armchair and a black carpet. On a narrow shelf in the corner next to one of the two windows I noticed that there were only alcohol bottles in it. Nick and I sat down and Jonas brought me a glass of Coke.

A few minutes later I asked Nick about his room. I really wanted to see it. We got up and I followed him.

When he opened the door he let me through first and I stopped in the middle of the room and looked around.

"Did you set it up yourself?" I asked, surprised.

"Sure." I heard Nick laugh next to me. The room was decorated simply and simply, not really my cup of tea. I was more into colors, happy kitschy, cozy things. But it suited him and looked really good. I noticed that he was getting closer.

"So ... you like it," he stated.

"Yes." I said with a smile and we looked at each other. He was now very close in front of me and I noticed how my heartbeat quickened as we looked intensely in the eyes. I loved his eyes, I could look at them for hours. They sparkled like liquid gold.

"I think it's good that you came up." I smiled when he said that to me softly. But then my smiling died.

"I heard that you had a date with a guy yesterday." My heart quickened even more.

"Um ... Sven and Jess were there too." Not much else to say to me at the moment.

"Aha ... and you like him." I had to swallow hard, why did he ask me that. He seemed to think that was a yes, because he suddenly said:

“It went really quickly. But who cares, it's nothing new that little girl loves someone else every few months. ”I was so shocked. I just stared at him. His cold eyes border in mine, so that I could not hold back my tears. When he noticed this, his expression changed immediately and he looked at me confused. Then I heard steps in front of the door and took a step back. Tried frantically to keep my tears in my eyes.

"That's not true." I whispered, but didn't look at him. Because the door opened at once. I saw Nick look at the door out of the corner of my eye.

"Oh, here you are." I immediately heard Jenna's bitchy voice. I noticed that she was looking at me, but I didn't look at her.

"What have you been doing here for so long?" She asked.

"He only showed me his room." I answered her to the question. Glanced briefly at Nick who nodded and then walked past the two of them and heard Jenna say to him:

"Now you can come over with me again." I was the first in the living room and took my glass from the table and sat down next to Sven . Nick and Jenna came right after me, but neither of them looked at me. Jenna, of course, went straight to her friend and whispered to her. Nick sat down with Noah on the other sofa. I went to Lara and greeted her.

Half an hour later Lara told me about a supposedly great, expensive, chic restaurant here in town. Where she was going with Ron tomorrow afternoon. At first I thought she'd tell me about it because she was happy to go there with Ron. Which I couldn't understand because we still didn't understand each other. He was always so strange to me and always looked at me. But then I noticed that she was only telling me about it because she wanted me to come with her. I looked at her in horror. She told me that they wanted to go there with two of Ron's friends, but they had canceled. But that a table had already been reserved and it had already been paid for.

"You don't even have to pay anything and the food should be really good." She said enthusiastically.

"We?" I just asked and she nodded with a smile.

"You could come with Nick, that would definitely be Ron too." Me with Nick and the two of them. She hadn't noticed something! She seemed to notice the look on my face.

"Oh come on, Nick won't mind." I didn't think that was a good idea.

"I don't know." I said to her. Then Ron came to us because he had heard us. He didn't seem too keen on taking me with him either, but he said nothing. Lara smiled at both of us.

"Just ask Nick." She said to Ron, who nodded with a sigh and walked away.

"That would be really great if we did something together again, even if the two of them are with us or not?" She smiled at me again. What could you say about it? So I nodded. Then Ron came back.

"What did he say?" She asked curiously.

"He doesn't care." Ron said and I looked past him at Nick. Who noticed that and then also looked at me. But I couldn't tell whether he really wanted it or not.

“So we go to four then. that's great. ”I just nodded with a fake smile and Lara got up.

"Honey, let's get another drink." Ron went with her without answering and I saw that Sven was sitting alone on the sofa and looked at his cell phone. So I went to him and sat down next to him so he put the phone away.

“Do you know what time it is?” Sven showed me his watch.

"Where's Jess?" I didn't feel like being here alone, I would have loved to leave now. Sven looked at me confused.

"Um, she's not coming." What was he saying? Sven only looked at me for a moment and then moved a little closer to me and said softly:

“Don't you know that Andrean and she broke up today?” What? “No, I didn't know that.” But it wasn't such a surprise after yesterday either. Sven continued to look at me.

"She actually wanted to tell you right away." I looked at him confused.

"I spoke to her on the phone earlier, because she was on the way to see him and said that he was coming from here." Sven nodded. She was with him too, but is now at home. ”How come he knew about it and I didn't?

"How do you know that?" I then asked him.

“I met her on the way here. It just came from him and you saw what was right there. That's why I drove her home and she was so weird and calm the whole time. So I asked her what was going on and she told me. She wanted to call you right at home. ”I sighed.

“I left my cell phone at home this morning. That's why she couldn't reach me. ”Such a measure. The poor was certainly surprised why I didn't answer and she didn't call back either. Sven nodded slightly and I got up immediately and Sven looked at me questioningly.

"I have to go." He nodded. I saw Nick looking at me. I grabbed my bag and walked out of the living room without saying goodbye to anyone. Just as I was about to open the apartment door, I heard Nick behind me.

"What's going on? ... You're leaving?" He asked, sounding upset. I nodded.

"Is ... an emergency. I have to now. "He cut me off.

"Jo, is it because of what I said?" He no longer spoke so angry.

“I didn't mean it that way. I was just sat- “I also interrupted him. I didn't have time for such a conversation now.

"No." Nick didn't seem to believe me.

"Yo ..." he said again.

"I have to go to Jess." When I said this Jenna came into the hall and stopped when she saw Nick and me.

"I knew you were here," she said annoyed. Nick didn't react to her at all, kept looking at me. I opened the door.

"Why Jess?" He asked confused. I turned to him again, looked first at Jenna, then at him.

"I can't explain to you now." I saw that he nodded.

"I'll get in touch with you later, okay?" I was a little surprised that he said that but nodded.

"See you then." I turned back and walked out the door.
