After not even two minutes of sitting on the sofa, Nick got a text message and since then he's been on his cell phone the whole time - until I lightly bumped my foot against his shin. He gave me a questioning look so I quickly pointed to his cell phone. He then pressed the keys twice before putting it aside.
"David and Noah keep asking me when I'm coming," he justified himself.
"Fine," I hissed softly. He could do something with me for two hours. Always this theater with Nick, that annoyed me again.
"Nick?" I heard a male voice say and I looked across the room.
"Hey, Nick." Who did Nick know on his birthday? Then I saw a guy approaching us with a girl. The guy laughed and shook hands with Nick.
"Dude, what are you doing here?" He was still laughing and sat down on the other sofa with the girl across the street.
"Hey,
I'll see you again." The guy across from us nodded when Nick said that to him.
"What are you doing here?" He asked. Nick looked at me.
"I'm here with her." The guy looked at me and eyed me. He was really gross, I could see that right away.
"That's Jolina - and Jolina, that's Ron," he added and the guy nodded.
"I'm here with her." He pointed to the girl next to him without looking at her.
“I'm Lara, his girlfriend.” She emphasized that she was his girlfriend.
I gave her a smile, which she hesitantly replied.
"She forced me to come here with her." Your friend seems to be very nice, I thought ironically.
"Ron!" Lara snorted indignantly.
"What? If I hadn't come with you, you would have been stressing out for the next few days. ”Nick looked over at me so that I had to look at him too and prayed internally that he wouldn't say something like that too. Fortunately, Nick just laughed and looked at this Ron again. Then Michele came to us.
"Hey, you haven't got anything to drink yet." She looked at us all in amazement.
"We haven't gotten to it yet," Lara replied.
"I'll bring you something, okay? What do you want? ”She wanted to know.
"I'll have champagne." Lara looked happy when she said that.
"What else do you have?" Nick asked. I knew he wanted whiskey, but surely she didn't have it. Michele looked like she had to think twice.
“I have champagne, alcopop bottles, beer and drinks without alcohol, in case you still have to drive.
"Nope," I heard Ron say immediately.
"I'll have a beer if there's nothing harder." Michele didn't seem to know what to say in response. Lara seemed to have noticed, because she said quickly:
"I'll stick with champagne." Michele nodded and looked at Nick.
"I'll have a beer too, thank you." Michele nodded and smiled and then turned to me.
“Would you like champagne too? It tastes really good. Or would you prefer a Coke? ”I thought about it. Michele knew I didn't like drinking that much, but since we'd be going to the club later, a glass couldn't hurt.
"I'll have a glass of champagne, but not that much." Michele nodded.
"No problem. See you soon. ”I nodded too and she disappeared. At that very moment, Nick's cell phone beeped again. He took it briefly in his hand, read the text message through, and then put it away again.
"How do you two actually know each other?" Lara asked now and looked at Ron.
"Nick and I used to work in a garage together before I flew." He laughed at that. I didn't understand what was so funny about that. The guy was really weird.
"And are you still working there?" He wanted to know. Nick nodded.
"Yes of course. I can't think of a better job. ”Ron nodded, smiling.
“You were always the boss’s favorite and you could do or leave what you wanted. Who wouldn't want a job like that? ”Nick grinned.
"What about you? What are you doing now? ”He made a throwing hand gesture. “Oh, I'll do something here and there. Always something new, ”he grinned.
"At the moment he helps out with my father in the company from time to time, wasn't it sweetheart?" Lara interfered and Ron just nodded without looking at her. One was nice to her. Nick's cell phone beeped again and I saw that he picked it up again. It was unbelievable that the guys wrote to him all the time.
Immediately he noticed my gaze and said:
"You ask when I will come." At that moment Michele came with the drinks, which she handed us one after the other.
When she handed the beer to Nick, she looked at him.
"You're leaving soon?" Nick nodded.
"Yes, I am invited elsewhere ... but not right away." He smiled at her sweetly, so that she gave a tentative smile back.
"It's a shame ... but nice that you came here with Jolina anyway, although you still have to go somewhere else." He nodded again. Michele wasn't even mad that we were going somewhere else. She smiled again and walked away from us.
"And where are we going?" Asked Ron curiously.
"Foundry." Ron's eyes widened immediately.
"Really? Just say, that's still there? ”Nick smiled.
"Sure." Ron shook his head.
“I haven't been there for a while. Last time I was stressed with people and couldn't get in. That still upsets me today! ”Nick laughed.
“People have been gone for half a year. It belongs to someone else now. Is a buddy of mine. If you want, I'll take you with me later. ”Ron's eyes widened, as if someone had just given him a birthday present.
