Party

Today was the last day of school and the holidays finally began. Rafael and I would go to the others together later. Sven had only planned to come here. But then he asked Rafael on Tuesday if he would like to come to him. I hadn't known about it until he told me about it yesterday after school. He wanted to know how I got there and I told him that I didn't even know if I would go today. I told Nick that I would come on Saturday. He had written to me that evening and apologized to me about the kiss. So he noticed that I didn't like it. I had thought about it all week. If I should have kissed him back or if I should have said something to him. Since I absolutely had to talk to Nick about it, I told Rafael that I would go with him. While I was packing my things, I wondered if I should let Nick know. But then I found out from Jess, who had called me that she did not know whether Nick would be there today, because he had gone back to his friend Toni's on Monday. But that he definitely wanted to be back by his birthday on Saturday. I was a little pissed off because he hadn't told me and wanted to know from Jess if something had happened that he had driven back to see him because of it. But she said she didn't know anything.

With a strange feeling I went with Rafael.

In the evening Sven, Rafael and I were on our way to the club. The two picked me up. Rafael was driving the car. Since he had to go back today because he had to go somewhere tomorrow. As we got into the alley the club was in, I saw four people standing at an expensive car near the entrance of the club. When we got closer I saw that David was standing with Danni. The other two had their backs to us. A guy with a black leather jacket and dark trousers with a dark brown modern longer haircut down to the neck. From the back he had a hairstyle similar to Nick, only a little shorter and his hair was darker. He was also built wider, the way he stood next to the petite girl and held her hand. She had long wavy brown hair and she was the smallest of them all, despite her very high shoes. She was also wearing a black jacket and tight jeans. The four were just saying goodbye to each other. The two girls hugged and David shook hands with the guy, who then hugged Danni. Then they went to the car and David went to the entrance with Danni when he saw us and stopped with her.

"Hi," I greeted them first.

“Well, you're running late. The others are already inside. ”Sven next to me nodded. And then David introduced Danni. Who smiled at me.

"Hi Jolina." She said gently. I greeted them back.

"Would you be brought?" I asked. I met David briefly this afternoon before he left. He had told me that he would go to Danni and that the two of them wanted to meet friends of hers and then come here later.

"My two best friends drove us, they actually wanted to come with us, but then something came up and they just let us out of here." I nodded and then we went in together.

Once again it was so full and stuffy inside that I had to breathe heavily before I pushed my way back through the crowd with the others.

"Pretty crowded here." Rafael shouted next to me when we had to stop because of David who was greeting someone. I nodded and smiled at him. Then I looked forward again and we came to the sitting area and then to my surprise I saw Nick sitting in his chair. He smiled at me when he saw me and I replied until his suddenly died when he looked past me. I followed his gaze and saw that he was staring at Rafael. What did he have against him? David greeted him and introduced him to Danni, so I first walked past him to Jess, who got up from the sofa and hugged me with a grin. She seemed to be in a really good mood today. Rafael and I sat down with her. When Sven came up, Jess got up and the two of them just looked at each other and then Sven gave her a kiss on the cheek while Jess wanted to hug him. It looked kind of weird. I looked at the two of them so that she noticed and Jess quickly sat down again and Sven looked at Rafael and told him that he should come with me to get something to drink. When the two were gone I looked at Jess.

"Are you okay?" I wanted to know. She nodded smiling again in a good mood. It was weird today.

“Come on, let's dance. I don't feel like sitting around all the time. ”I nodded slightly and let her pull me up and we went dancing.

A while later we were sitting with Rafael and Sven again. Jess and Sven drank together and laughed the whole time. Rafael and I just drank Coke and laughed at the other two the whole time.

Around half past twelve. Rafael said goodbye and I looked around. Jess and Sven had been dancing together for what felt like an eternity and David was busy with Danni. I kept looking around but couldn't see Nick anywhere. Had he already left? The two of us hadn't spoken a word to each other today, although that's why I had come here. I thought for a moment and then decided to leave. What should I do here alone? I quickly walked over to David and told him I was going. Then I followed Rafael outside. When we went up the stairs outside I saw Nick talking to the beefy doorman. When he heard us he looked at me briefly, but then turned around again.

"Should I drive you?" Rafael asked me, but I shook my head.

“Thanks, but you have to go in a different direction. I'm not that far. ”He nodded and took out his car key.

"And will you stay here for the whole vacation?" He asked me suddenly.

"I don't know yet." I answered him as we were walking past Nick and he could hear it.

"Have a nice evening." We heard the doorman say in a dark voice behind us. Rafael thanked him and wished him a quiet evening. I just looked at him. I didn't like him from the first day, he always looked at me strangely. Nick didn't say anything. So I read it too and went down the alley with Rafael. To his car.

"Should I really not take you with me?" I shook my head. And we stopped at his car.

“Well, then we'll see you after the holidays. Or earlier. ”I nodded, smiling. What he didn't know was that we wouldn't see each other again, because we would move one way or another.

"Come home safely and drive carefully." I said to him when he opened the car door.

"Yo?" Nick appeared behind me. I looked at him. So that he looked at Rafael.

"Are you going with me?" He asked me.

"No." I answered him. So that he looked at me again.

"Good, I'll wait until you've said goodbye." He said simply and walked past us. At first I looked after him, perplexed. Then I turned back to Rafael, who was looking at me.

"So, see you then." I only said because I couldn't think of anything more. He nodded with a smile.

"I thought he was your friend." He smiled at me again. I wanted to speak to him again, to tell him that it wasn't like that. But I didn't.

Rafael got in the car and waved to me as he drove away. I looked after him for a moment and then went to Nick, who had stopped a few meters away from me and was waiting for me.

We walked next to each other in silence. The whole time I thought about how to start a conversation. But I could

n't think of anything better than: "Did you want to go or why were you outside?" He didn't look at me when I asked him that.

"No, I just wanted some fresh air." Now I was confused. That's why I stopped. He went a few more steps until he stopped and looked at me.

“You didn't even want to go? Then why are you taking me home? ”He shrugged.

"Because you wanted to go." I shook my head.

“I only went with you because I thought you were gone and the others were kind of busy with themselves, like everyone else. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone. ”Nick just looked at me.

"Do you want to go back?" He asked then, so I shook my head and walked over to him and we continued walking.

"I only came here today anyway because I wanted to talk to you." Nick next to me started to laugh. I stared at him in complete confusion and he shook his head.

Now we were approaching my family's house.

" That's what I thought. Because I kissed you, didn't I? ”I nodded slightly and we stopped in front of the driveway.

"Shouldn't I have done that?" I was overwhelmed with this question.

"Um ... I ... I don't know!" I hissed then. Because I remember that he had looked at Rafael before he kissed me. Maybe it was just because of him. After all, he had written to me that evening that he was sorry that he had just done it and that I shouldn't be mad at him for that.

"Did you only do that because of Rafael?" Of course he nodded. That was clear.

"Great." I said a little louder.

“He shouldn't think that he has a chance with you. I wanted to show him that you actually belong to me. ”My heart suddenly started racing as I listened to Nick.

“That's why you didn't have to do that. He thinks you're my friend anyway. ”I said quietly now.

"Good." Then I heard Nick say as I looked past him towards the house, as the light went on in the kitchen.

"I'm not in the mood for the games anymore." He said suddenly and got my full attention again.

"What do you mean?" I asked him, but he didn't answer.

"You know that I still want you, that's the only reason I'm so nice to you." When he said that, I got a big lump in my throat.

"Do you still want me?" My heart beat faster and faster and then he came even closer to me and I looked into clear golden eyes and had to think of the evening when I had seen his eyes for the first time.

"I ... nothing has changed ... that I can't say. You have to understand that. I just don't want it to be like it used to be, that didn't make me happy. I even thought in between that I would hate you. It.- ”Nick cut me off.

"Are you happy now, the way it is now?" I shook my head.

“But ... I can't remember that we ever got along as well as we do now. You weren't interested in my life at all. And you didn't let me in yours Now we're not together anymore and I'm only getting to know you really now. ”He nodded.

“Yes, but I had my reasons not to let you get that close to me. I wanted to prevent what happened, that I would like you too much ... but now we're starting to get to know each other properly and that will continue to be the case. I won't stop letting you into my life when we're back together. ”He stopped talking and we just looked at each other, but I couldn't say anything.

"Okay, I know that I broke everything and ... but you have to give me a second chance so you can see that it won't be that way anymore. Otherwise it won't work. You don't even know how stupid I feel talking to you like that. Like such a wimp who has to beg for something. ”I noticed that it took a lot of effort for him to speak to me like that without saying anything nice to him. He sighed.

"What the heck ... I really love you. I can't embarrass myself any more anyway, so ... you can think about what you want and what not. I will no longer ask or press you. I'll wait for what comes from you ... or not. I'll see you at my place tomorrow. ”He was about to turn around, but I held him so we could look at each other. Pulled him to me.

"I ... just want to see something." Nick frowned in confusion and I looked deep into his beautiful eyes. He had told me everything I ever wanted to hear from him and I knew he was serious. Now I had to find out if I wanted it too or if I couldn't tell him I loved him because deep down inside I just didn't. Then I kissed him and he returned the kiss immediately. At first only very tenderly, until I wrapped my arms around his neck and pressed myself against him, then he too became more demanding. But didn't extend the kiss like usual. He didn't cross the line this time, he didn't start to touch me. His hands rested on my cheek and the other buried in my hair. I carefully pulled away from him and we both looked at each other again. I just had to smile and he let go of me first.

" Good night. Come home safely. ”Nick looked at me confused.

"Did you see what you wanted?" He wanted to know, still confused.

"Not everything and not exactly yet." With this sentence I turned around and heard him say behind me:

"Do I have to understand that now, should I worry about it now, Jo?" I shook my head as I walked to the front door went.

"No." Then I unlocked the door and went inside.
