LOGINFeesh opened her eyes with a groan and looked around. Her eyes landed on Erin's beautiful face. Erin was her neighbor.
"She's awake!" Her voice sounded distant and it brought an unbearable headache to Feesh. She winced, attempting to sit up but stopped short when Erin pulled her back into the sofa.
"You're safe, Feesh. We're at my place. And... You just woke up from the dead." Erin said, staring down at her.
"What.. What do you mean from the dead? Ahh..." Feesh groaned as her throat dried up. She needed water immediately. "Water.." She mumbled.
"Jake, bring her some water please." Erin said, turning to her brother who was watching Julian like a hawk. That was when Feesh noticed that someone else apart from Erin and Jake was in the room. She cranked her neck to get a look at him. Tall, Handsome stranger. Also a brooding stranger. She waited till Jake brought the water then she took a long gulp.
"Who is he?" Feesh asked the second the water was gulped down.
"He's.. Julian. He's... My friend." Erin replied, her voice almost a whisper.
"More like lover. They've been eating each other out with their eyes all day and it's freaking me out." Jake grumbled, ignoring the shocked gasp that came from Erin.
"Jake, shut up! Feesh, how do you feel?" Erin asked, placing her hand on Feesh's arm.
"I.... Am incredibly thirsty." She replied earnestly, her hands rubbing her neck as if she was having a hard time breathing.
"That's because of your new transformation." Julian spoke for the first time after Feesh awoke. "You need human blood to survive within the next 3 days."
Feesh narrowed her eyes at Erin in confusion. "What does he mean, Erin?"
Erin sighed and took a deep breath. She then scooted closer to Feesh. "Look... Do you remember what happened before you woke up?"
"Uh.. Well yeah.. I.. I was attacked! By a vampire. A freaking vampire, Erin! You gotta believe me. He asked me to.. To invite him to my place and I did because he looked sexy and willing to bang. But when we got inside, he just started acting strange and stuff. It started from when he asked about my younger brother.. I was confused because I'm an only child. I didn't..."
"Wait." Julian interrupted, moving closer to them. "The person asked about your brother? Do you remember his face?"
"Well.. Yeah.. He, he's blond and tall and good looking. He said he wanted to know if I'm the only one at home or my brother was somewhere. I told him I didn't have any, then I started getting suspicious because he was walking around, I went to call Erin to know if she was around because I sensed something was wrong, but before I knew what was happening, he was biting into my neck and sucking aggressively. That's all I can remember." She finished.
Erin turned to Julian and saw the monstrous look in his face. Right then, he looked extremely dangerous. "You're in danger, Erin. The person was sent to you. He must have gotten confused. You were his intended target."
"What could my sister possibly have to make them want her? What will we do?" Jake asked, the fear in his voice evident. He was young and he was already exposed to a different world. Erin wished she could undo it all. What would have happened had she never met Julian Ferrari? She didn't have an answer to her silent questions.
"You're not safe here, Erin. You have to come with me." Julian said as he came forward to pull her out Feesh's embrace. She stopped once she got her footing and glared at him.
"I can't just leave! My brother is also not safe!"
"He will come with us. Right now, you should come with me until my men find out who is behind this. I'll make some quick calls." Julian told Erin.
"Wait! I.. If we go with you, Feesh comes along with us as well. That's my condition." Erin pushed.
Julian stared at her in shock before shaking his head disbelievingly. "You should be thankful I'm protecting you! Not giving me options!" He exclaimed with a chuckle.
"I won't go with you, Julian. Decide now." Erin snapped, glaring at him. Julian sighed and studied her defiant, small face. She looked incredibly hot when she was fuming. He almost smiled but forced himself not to.
"You will do anything to protect this Fish of yours won't you?""It's Feesh, and Yes. Yes, I will." Erin agreed, staring at him indignantly.
"Fine. She can come. I have to make some calls now." He said and left. Erin turned back to Feesh who was smiling gratefully at her. Erin nodded softly.
"Don't take longer than ten minutes to get here, Sebastian." Julian warned his right hand man before cutting the call. He needed to get Erin out of here fast. He didn't know who they were up against and he didn't want to have to shed blood all over Erin's home.
"What relationship do you have with my sister?" Julian turned to see the little chap glaring up at him.
"I think she gave you an answer back in there," He replied with a smirk on his face, which seemed to anger the kid even more.
"Look, man! No guy friend would just take it upon himself to be Erin's savior without wanting something. Especially someone like you, so tell me what you want with Erin or I'm gonna kick your ass."
Julian chuckled lightly and placed his hand on Jake's shoulder. "I care about your sister. A lot."
"But you're a vampire. Aren't vampires supposed to be... Cold and heartless?" He demanded.
"People choose to be cold and heartless, Jake. It doesn't apply only to vampires. You can choose to be cold and heartless, do bad things and people will hate you for it. I don't do it. I don't find it enjoyable." Julian said.
"So... You're one of the good guys?" Jake asked, smile forming on his lips.
"You could call it that."
"You love Erin, don't you? You're in love with her." Jake stated boldly, putting Julian in a state of shock and speechlessness.
"You can't even deny it. A vampire in love. That would have been one of the wildest stories I told my friends. See, they don't believe that powerful people could be kind. But... You are powerful and kind. If you aren't, you wouldn't be in love with my sister." He smiled.
"I didn't say that. I said I care about her." Julian replied defensively. The kid was a loud mouthed one.
"Oh, so you can say this to her face?" Jake taunted.
"I.."
"Hey, what are you two discussing?" It was Erin. She came forward and stared at them suspiciously.

JULIAN GAZED AT THE fancy glass cup that was filled with healthy, refrigerated blood, his mind a thousand miles away. He still couldn't get the terrified expression of Erin Dexter when she learned his real identity out of his head. "If I didn't know you better boss, I'd say you appear heartbroken." He didn't even realize that Sebastian had entered the room. He ignored his words because he didn't want to ponder on it. It couldn't be possible that, after hundreds of years with no emotions and feelings, one small girl would make him feel this way. He had never believed in true love or having a soul mate, but with Erin springing up in his life, things were so different now. He still felt the insane urge to go after her and protect her, but he needed to respect her decision. Right now, she was completely terrified of him and he wouldn't add to it by chasing after her and giving her no option. He would let
JULIAN WATCHED HER FACE CLOSELY. She was still in a state of shock, unmoving, as she stared at him. Her face hardly betrayed any emotion, but Julian knew she was still shocked by the discovery. She knew what he was. She knew he was a vampire. A bloodsucker. "Erin... I know this might be a lot to take in, but.." "Have you always wanted to.. Suck my blood?" Erin interrupted him. Her voice was only a whisper. "The first time I met you, yes. Even now. I won't lie and say that I don't feel the raging thirst in my throat for your.. Blood, but I've had so many years of practicing self control when it came to blood thirst." She looked startled at his mention of blood. It was as if she still couldn't believe everything he was saying. "So.. You truly are a Vampire.." It wasn't a question. It was a realization. Her eyes refused to mee
"Well, hello there, come to join the fun?"Without any words, Erin turned and made to run away but before she could even take a step forward, she was grabbed and cruelly flung to the wall on the other side of the room. All the air was sent out of Erin's lungs as she hit the wall with force. She felt something crack and knew it was her bone. She fell to the ground with a silent groan. "You can go now, Margaret, you've served your purpose. I have time for this new toy." She heard the man, the vampire say with such a sardonic tone that Erin knew she was in big trouble. She was going to die. In a dark room. She sighed as she thought about he brother. Jake, she whispered inwardly, praying for him to be fine. Too weak to call for help, she lied there and watched as he stalked slowly towards her. She was going to die. She was sure of it. "You really are a special thing aren't you? The sm
ERIN SMILED WIDELY AS she entered the hall with her boss, Suriya. This was her first time attending a charity fundraiser ball in a whole month and she was sick with excitement. She looked down at her outfit, a short black gown that Suriya had sent to her as a gift an hour before the party. She didn't really have the luxury and time to afford such classy dresses so she couldn't contain her excitement and happiness. "Quit looking at yourself so much, Erin. I know you look pretty but I look prettier." Suriya taunted with a devious smile.Erin giggled at her. And she was right. She really did look like a million bucks. A floor length, blood red glittering gown adorned her slim figure and her make up and hair was expertly done. She was truly a vision. "I bet you do, Suriya. You've got everyone's attention without even a trying." Erin commented, her eyes going over the people that were in the room. They were all lo
"Erin dear, be careful.""Why do you say that, Mommy?" 10 year old Erin looked up at her mother confusingly. She and her mom were lying on the beach sand, the sun softly burning their skin. It was an amazing feeling and the day was peaceful. Erin didn't understand what she had to be careful about."You will find out later on about what I'm saying. For now, I just want to spend the little time I have with my baby girl." Her mother said with a clear voice. She smiled at Erin, a sad look crossing her beautiful face that was so much like Erin's. "Oh my beautiful Erin, you have such a wonderful gift. Very special, just like you."Erin frowned in confusion. It was like her mom was just talking in riddles today. "What gift mom? Can I fly? Do I have super strength?"Her mom bursted into laugher and ruffled her hair playfully. "No, silly. You have the ability to protect yourself
