"HELLO? WHO'S THERE?" Erin asked in a tiny, scared voice. Every where was dark and she was wondering what she was doing back at the company, in front of the rest room where she'd met Julian Ferrari.

She heard another sound. It was a whimper. She slowly raised her hand and knocked on the door, hoping that there wasn't an issue. That she was just being unnecessarily scared.

"Hello?..." She whispered again, she heard her voice echo through the walls. She looked around and in that second, the door was yanked open.

She gasped and stared at Julian Ferrari in horror. He had blood streaming endlessly down his eyes, nose and ears! Erin stared at him fearfully. She tried to keep her brain in check. It probably wasn't real. It was just a nightmare. Or was it?

"You can't escape it, Erin." His deep voice boomed so hard that the whole place trembled with it. Slowly, he started walking towards her.

Erin tried to let out a scream, but her voice was blocked. It was like there was a rock in her lungs that wouldn't let anything come out. Oh God please!!

Erin turned and made an attempt to run, but she wasn't fast enough, for in the blink of an eye, he was in front of her. He roughly grabbed her neck and pulled her closer to him.

Erin saw the blood all over his face turn to something more sinister. Something more dangerous and scary. But her brain couldn't recognize what it was.

"You can't escape it!" He yelled in her face, his teeth  were bared and it looked like that of a monster's. Erin finally found that scream that was stuck deep in her throat as he descended on her.

Erin woke up with a gasp. She sat up on her bed and placed her hands on her neck, where he had touched her in the dream. It was uninjured.

"Thank God," She breathed in relief. "Just a dream."

She couldn't understand why had had such a nightmare, but she knew it must have meant something. She wished she could talk to Feesh, her new friend. Maybe she have the answer to—

A piercing scream broke Erin from her thoughts. She looked at her window. It was coming from there.

"Help!" The girl screamed again.

Erin ran to her window, before slowly and carefully peeking. A girl was lying on the streets, it looked like she had passed or dead. Erin looked closer, the girl looked a bit familiar, She looked like... Feesh!!

"Oh my God!" Erin whispered in fear. Feesh was outside and she was injured! She needed to help her friend!

She turned away from the window and hurriedly picked up a small torch and headed outside her room. She spared a glance at her brother's room. The door was closed and Erin he was sound asleep. He was safe. Feesh wasn't. Feesh needed her help.

As quietly as she could, Erin opened the door and escaped.

Once she was outside, she noted that the gate was locked and she needed the key to open it. She stopped at the reception. There was no one there.

Erin walked around and saw where the key was hanging under the table. She picked it up and hurried outside.

"Feesh? Are you there?" She asked, her hand pausing on the padlock. Somewhere deep down, she knew she was scared. What if it wasn't Feesh? What if she had just been imagining things?

"Yes! Help!" She answered.

Erin opened the gate and stepped outside. She dropped the key by the gate and ran into the street. Feesh was not there.

"Feesh? Feesh?!"

There was no answer. Erin walked further along the road and looked around, but it was empty.

"Oh God," Erin cried, putting her hand on her forehead. "Have I been imagining this??"

"No, you haven't." A voice snarled. Erin jumped and looked up. There was no one around. The scary voice had come from the shadows. The voice of a...

"Monster. You are wondering that I am a monster. And you are correct, my dear girl." The voice growled. Erin was trembling with fear. She knew she was in danger.

She turned and wanted to run back into her gate, when she saw that it was standing by the gate.

It was dark, very dark, but Erin could make out what was there. It was a scary looking monster. It was almost as tall as the gate and had blood gushing all over its body.

"Isn't this the part where you run?"

With a terrified scream, Erin turned away and ran. She could hear its laughter as she ran with every strength she could gather in her. Wild tears were streaming down her and she knew she was going to die. What was happening? Why had she left her room in the first place? What had made her think that it was Feesh?

Erin sobbed in horror as she realized what had happened. The monster, whatever it was had put those illusions in her head. The nightmare, Feesh's voice, and now she was running. Running to where she had no idea of.

"Help!" She wanted to yell, but it came out as a whisper.

She kept running and running, till she ran out the monster's voice of evil laughter. She looked around and saw that she was the only human that was outside her house. Feesh had warned her. But like a fool, she hadn't listened. She just hoped Jake was safe.

"God, please let him be safe. Please let him be safe." She silently prayed.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, holding it, hoping that the monster had lost her and had finally gone the other way. God please...

She opened her eyes and came face to face with the scary looking monster filled with blood.

The creature looked like a zombie, a Grey colored one, his eyes were a pool of blood, so were his nose and ears. And he was going to eat her. She would be dead and no one would know how.

"Such a young sweet blood, I will enjoy and savor you, my sweet one."

The monster let its mouth open and hundreds of nail sharp teeth came out and elongated towards her.

Erin tried to scream, but nothing would come out. She stood with her back against the pillar and waited for death to come, only to hear a squishing sound and a thud on the ground.

She slowly opened her eyes and saw...

"What the hell are you doing out here tonight?!"

It was Julian Ferrari in flesh and Armani suit.

Feesh opened her eyes with a groan and looked around. Her eyes landed on Erin's beautiful face. Erin was her neighbor. "She's awake!" Her voice sounded distant and it brought an unbearable headache to Feesh. She winced, attempting to sit up but stopped short when Erin pulled her back into the sofa. "You're safe, Feesh. We're at my place. And... You just woke up from the dead." Erin said, staring down at her. "What.. What do you mean from the dead? Ahh..." Feesh groaned as her throat dried up. She needed water immediately. "Water.." She mumbled. "Jake, bring her some water please." Erin said, turning to her brother who was watching Julian like a hawk. That was when Feesh noticed that someone else apart from Erin and Jake was in the room. She cranked her neck to get a look at him. Tall, Handsome stranger. Also a brooding stranger. She wait

  • Julian   Chapter 12

JULIAN GAZED AT THE fancy glass cup that was filled with healthy, refrigerated blood, his mind a thousand miles away. He still couldn't get the terrified expression of Erin Dexter when she learned his real identity out of his head. "If I didn't know you better boss, I'd say you appear heartbroken." He didn't even realize that Sebastian had entered the room. He ignored his words because he didn't want to ponder on it. It couldn't be possible that, after hundreds of years with no emotions and feelings, one small girl would make him feel this way. He had never believed in true love or having a soul mate, but with Erin springing up in his life, things were so different now. He still felt the insane urge to go after her and protect her, but he needed to respect her decision. Right now, she was completely terrified of him and he wouldn't add to it by chasing after her and giving her no option. He would let

  • Julian   Chapter 11

JULIAN WATCHED HER FACE CLOSELY. She was still in a state of shock, unmoving, as she stared at him. Her face hardly betrayed any emotion, but Julian knew she was still shocked by the discovery. She knew what he was. She knew he was a vampire. A bloodsucker. "Erin... I know this might be a lot to take in, but.." "Have you always wanted to.. Suck my blood?" Erin interrupted him. Her voice was only a whisper. "The first time I met you, yes. Even now. I won't lie and say that I don't feel the raging thirst in my throat for your.. Blood, but I've had so many years of practicing self control when it came to blood thirst." She looked startled at his mention of blood. It was as if she still couldn't believe everything he was saying. "So.. You truly are a Vampire.." It wasn't a question. It was a realization. Her eyes refused to mee

"Well, hello there, come to join the fun?"Without any words, Erin turned and made to run away but before she could even take a step forward, she was grabbed and cruelly flung to the wall on the other side of the room. All the air was sent out of Erin's lungs as she hit the wall with force. She felt something crack and knew it was her bone. She fell to the ground with a silent groan. "You can go now, Margaret, you've served your purpose. I have time for this new toy." She heard the man, the vampire say with such a sardonic tone that Erin knew she was in big trouble. She was going to die. In a dark room. She sighed as she thought about he brother. Jake, she whispered inwardly, praying for him to be fine. Too weak to call for help, she lied there and watched as he stalked slowly towards her. She was going to die. She was sure of it. "You really are a special thing aren't you? The sm

  • Julian   Chapter 9

ERIN SMILED WIDELY AS she entered the hall with her boss, Suriya. This was her first time attending a charity fundraiser ball in a whole month and she was sick with excitement. She looked down at her outfit, a short black gown that Suriya had sent to her as a gift an hour before the party. She didn't really have the luxury and time to afford such classy dresses so she couldn't contain her excitement and happiness. "Quit looking at yourself so much, Erin. I know you look pretty but I look prettier." Suriya taunted with a devious smile.Erin giggled at her. And she was right. She really did look like a million bucks. A floor length, blood red glittering gown adorned her slim figure and her make up and hair was expertly done. She was truly a vision. "I bet you do, Suriya. You've got everyone's attention without even a trying." Erin commented, her eyes going over the people that were in the room. They were all lo

  • Julian   Chapter 8

"Erin dear, be careful.""Why do you say that, Mommy?" 10 year old Erin looked up at her mother confusingly. She and her mom were lying on the beach sand, the sun softly burning their skin. It was an amazing feeling and the day was peaceful. Erin didn't understand what she had to be careful about."You will find out later on about what I'm saying. For now, I just want to spend the little time I have with my baby girl." Her mother said with a clear voice. She smiled at Erin, a sad look crossing her beautiful face that was so much like Erin's. "Oh my beautiful Erin, you have such a wonderful gift. Very special, just like you."Erin frowned in confusion. It was like her mom was just talking in riddles today. "What gift mom? Can I fly? Do I have super strength?"Her mom bursted into laugher and ruffled her hair playfully. "No, silly. You have the ability to protect yourself
