"I should be the one asking that. Who are you? And why do you look like me? Did you perhaps get plastic surgery to look like me? Wait...why does my voice sound like a woman's? And why do I have an accent?" Cain didn't have a girly voice. His voice had changed to that of a man's years ago, he was going to be 21 soon. He also most certainly did not have an accent like that of a foreigner for he had been born and raised in Seoul his whole life. He could understand why someone would get plastic surgery to look like him though, he was the visual of his group after all. He had always been praised for his model good looks.

"Why do I look like you? Well I don't know. I would actually say you look like me." Abby was confused as to why she was looking at another person that looked and sounded just like her. And she was even more confused at her voice, it sounded nothing like her own. It was a man's voice and it didn't have an accent, she sounded just like any other Korean man born in Seoul.

"Did you steal my voice? Wait...that's not possible." But if it were possible Cain was sure there were people out there that would love to sound like him, he was an artist after all.

Abby had been mesmerized at seeing someone that looked just like her that she had almost forgotten she was laying underneath someone, someone with germs. Not only that but she was also laying on the ground. Having realized this, Abby shoved the woman away. She was going to have to make her shower even longer than she had already planned. Abby's only consolation was that the person that had been on top of her seemed to have enough sense to wear as much protective gear as her. So if anyone had to be on top of her, she was glad it was someone that protected themselves just as much. She wished all people were like her and this woman.

Other than looking just like her, Abby noticed something else that was odd about the woman. She was wearing the same exact clothes as her. It couldn't be a mere coincidence. EVERYTHING was EXACTLY the same, even all the protective gear.

Cain noticed the man that looked just like him was staring at him. "Why are you staring at me? And why are you wearing the same clothes as me?! Are you a stalker?! It's okay if you're my fan but getting plastic surgery to look just like me and dressing like me too is just going too far! Can't you just love yourself for who you are?! And why does my voice still sound like this?! Ugh!"

Abby also wanted to know why her voice sounded like a man's and why this other person sounded just like her. But although the voice she now had didn't sound like hers, it did sound an awful lot familiar. She had heard that voice before and she was determined to find out whose voice it reminded her of, she decided to test out the voice some more. Either she would remember who the voice reminded her of or the voice would just wear off and she would get her own voice back. She could only hope for the latter.

"I'm going to be late for my appointment and I'm sure you probably are too considering how you're here right now. So could you please open the door so we can go in?"

"Why don't you open it yourself?"

"Because that door handle is disgusting and infested with germs."

"Well okay weirdo."

The woman that looked just like her walked ahead and grabbed onto the door handle but instead of opening the door, she stopped and was staring at her reflection on the glass door. She let out a scream as she touched her face.

"You call me a weirdo and yet you're screaming from looking at your own reflection?! What's wrong with you?!"

"My own reflection you say?! This isn't me! And that's why I screamed! I am not some Latino woman! I am Korean and I'm a man!"

"Well someone hit their head too hard."

Abby walked ahead but stopped once she got to the front of the glass door. Her eyes widened at the sight. She didn't know why instead of staring at her own reflection she was staring at her bias Hwang Cain. Perhaps her mind was just playing tricks on her because what she was seeing could only be a hallucination. Either she had hit her head too hard when she fell or the disinfectant spray she's been spraying around had been toxic to her. She didn't think that could be though. She had been using those sprays for months and yet they had never caused such an effect on her. She tried to think of all the possible explanations for this. Only one explanation came to her mind but it was something that only ever happened in Korean dramas. Body switching wasn't possible in real life. She was going to have to ask this woman for her name, that way she would be able to eliminate such a ridiculous thought.

"May I know what your name is?"

"My name? Well shouldn't you be telling me yours first?"

Abby rolled her eyes but decided to tell the woman her name.

"Abigail Hernandez but I prefer to just be called Abby."

"So you're a woman then? But why do you look like a man? Why do you look like me?" Abby was getting tired of all the questions, from both the woman and her own. What she wanted was answers, not more questions.

"You still haven't told me your name. Do you have a woman's name or a man's name?"

"A man's of course! Hwang Cain." Just as Abby had thought. She didn't want it to be true but it was, she had switched bodies with her bias! It was unbelievable and she felt she needed to confirm one last time in order to believe it.

"Hwang Cain? Like THE Hwang Cain? Main dancer and lead rapper of Adam?"

"You're forgetting the visual part." Abby was exasperated at this point.

"Just answer my question! Are you or are you not him?!"

"I am who. I am you but I am not." Cain mumbled to himself. He couldn't believe what was going on. It made no sense to him. How was this possible? He tried to think of an explanation but couldn't. And the person that looked just like him had started shaking him.

"Tell me you are not who I think you are!"

"If the person you think I am is Hwang Cain from Adam then I'm sorry but I cannot say that I AM NOT." Abby didn't know why he was talking this way. All she wanted was a simple yes or no answer. She knew she needed to calm down though since she was sure that it was just as exasperating for her/him as it was for her.

"So...is that a yes to you being Hwang Cain from Adam?"

"Yes."

"Excuse me but could you two please either go in or move out of the way? I'm late to my appointment as it is already." Not only were they both probably already late to their appointment but they were also making an old lady late to her appointment. Abby grabbed herself, well Cain or whoever he was, and moved him out of the way. It felt weird to refer to herself as a "him" and even weirder to refer to herself as Cain. She hoped it wasn't something she'll have to get used to. They were going to have to figure out what had caused them to switch bodies and how to return back. But first they had to get their vaccine for the Coronavirus, Abby wasn't going to leave without it. It had already been hard for her to get there and she didn't want to have to go through the experience all over again.

She took the opportunity to walk in right after the ajumma, at least that way neither she or Cain had to actually open the door. But Cain had seemed to be frozen in place, she had to grab him and pull him in inside while she held the door open with her foot. "Could you please not grab me like that while you're in my body? It'll ruin my image since you are in my body after all."

"Well then start moving your ass if you don't want me to move it for you. You have to get that vaccine for me just like I'll be getting it for you"

Abby ended up signing both herself and Cain in. She had only really intended to sign herself in but after she had written her name, she remembered that she was no longer in her body but in Cain's. The lady at the front desk looked at her weird when she saw that she had written a woman's name. "Oops. I was signing in for a friend but I forgot to sign in for myself as well. Could I have that sign-in sheet back please?"

She was given the sheet back and had to write Cain's name. Her handwriting probably looked too neat and girly to be a man's but she couldn't change the way she wrote. At least her nice handwriting was going to make Cain look good. On the other hand, Cain's handwriting was probably going to make her look bad. She didn't really know if his handwriting was messy or neat but she was sure that it most likely wasn't going to be as nice as hers. Guys usually had messy handwriting, especially younger guys his age.

Abby was about to go take a seat next to Cain when she remembered that she was going to be needing those napkins or tissues to be able to sit down. Because even though she was no longer in her own body, she still felt the same way about germs.

There had been a number of people that had arrived after her so when she returned back she had to stand in line behind those people. She wasn't a fan of lines though and not because she was an impatient person but because standing in a line only made her felt trapped and that feeling was one of the triggers for her Agoraphobia panic attacks. She had to take in deep breaths and close her eyes.

The best thing was to pretend that she wasn't there. She was basically meditating right there and then, people would think she was weird or perhaps even crazy but she didn't care. She had stopped caring about what people thought a long time ago, they were all judgmental and only judged people from the outside without knowing anything about them. People were ignorant and she could only feel bad for them because of this.

"Forgot to sign someone else in?" The woman at the front desk cleared her throat. Abby had been too focused in her meditation that she hadn't noticed that all the people that had been ahead of her in line had already taken a seat. There were still in people in line but they were all behind her as she was now the one in the front.

"No. I actually wanted to ask for some napkins or tissues. Are there any that I could have please? If not then printer paper would be fine too but it would have to be new printer paper that hasn't been used."

"Ugh. Such a diva. Male celebrities shouldn't be like that you know. It will only make you look bad. You wouldn't want to lose all your fans, would you? You do make a living because of them after all."

Despite the woman at the front desk having said that, she got the napkins, tissues and new printer paper for her. "Here. Take them all and please don't disturb the line again. There are other people here that are actually waiting to sign in." Abby hadn't cared that the woman had been rude at her, she was just happy that she at least got what she asked for. She was finally going to be able to sit down but once she got to where Cain was sitting at, the seat next to him had already been taken by some guy and not only that but the guy seemed to be trying to flirt with him. If only the guy had known that he was actually flirting with another guy then his face would have probably been just as red as Cain's face was at that moment.

Abby had noticed that Cain had taken off the googles, mask, face shield and gloves. Had he not, the guy probably wouldn't be trying to flirt with her body right now because no one ever flirted with a 'weirdo" like her. It was not that she was bad looking, many guys used to flirt with her before she had Agoraphobia but it had been years that no one had.

She saw that there were two other chairs next to each other across the room that were empty so she grabbed Cain and took him to sit on those chairs. She normally wouldn't dare touch another person but touching her own body was an exception and that was what she was basically doing at that moment. So touching Cain hadn't seemed like she was touching someone else.

"What did I say about touching me?"

"That it makes you look bad but I'm sorry that I'm still not used to thinking of my own body as you. Besides, you should be thanking me for saving you from that flirty guy back there. Or were you actually enjoying it?"

"As if! I actually am glad that you got me away from that guy but touching me like that was still not okay. You could have just called for me to come with you."

"Yea because that has proven to be so effective Mr. Statue."

"Well sorry if I'm too shocked that I'm no longer in my own body!" Cain had gotten the attention from everyone in the waiting room for yelling that. Getting people's attention was definitely not a good thing, especially not for something like that. They would be thrown in the loony bin in an instant if they were to say they had switched bodies.

Abby had to say something since people were still staring at them. "Sorry for the commotion everyone. She actually has Depersonalization so that's why she said she's no longer in her body. She didn't actually mean it literally, she just feels that way is all." Everyone seemed to go back to doing whatever it was they had been doing after that.

"What did you say that I have?"

"Depersonalization."

"I know you said that but what exactly is that?"

"Google it if you want to know. It's hard to explain and even harder to understand if you haven't had it."

Because Abby had Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia, one of the common things that came with it were Depersonalization along with Derealization. So in some cases instead of having a panic attack, she would either just get DP or DR (sometimes even both at the same time). It was an experince similar to one you would have if you were to do certain drugs as it helped you "escape reality" in a way. And her psychologist told her that it was exactly what her mind was trying to do, to escape reality. And because she was able to "escape" that reality, she would not get her usual panic attacks. However, DP and DR were more rare to get than the panic attacks were. She sort of preferred Depersonalization and Derealization over the panic attacks though and at that moment she was definitely feeling the Depersonalization to the max, basically a whole other level. Because not only did she feel she wasn't in her own body but she really wasn't. She was looking at herself for crying out loud!

Cain did as Abby said and googled what Depersonalization was. "The persistent feeling of observing oneself from outside one's body or having a sense that one's surroundings aren't real." He read out loud from his phone.

"Well isn't that what we're sort of going through right now? Not just me but both of us." He was right but this time it was quite too literally.

"Well I guess in a way we are but it's different. Because this isn't just a feeling but we're actually in each other's bodies and it is because of that that we are able to observe ourselves from outside our own bodies."

"And what do you think caused this?"

"How the heck should I know? I know probably just as much as you do, which is that we've switched bodies. I AM YOU and you are me."

"Well do you think we can switch back? My group is having a comeback soon and right after we'll start preparing for a world tour."

"Comeback? A world tour?" Abby's voice had become shaky.

She didn't know how they could switch back bodies and she was worried that she would have to go on living as Cain, doing things idols did, being on stage with hundred and even thousands of people. She could never do anything like that, she had Agoraphobia. She also most definitely could not get on a plane to travel, doing so would only cause her the mother of all panic attacks.

"I would love to switch back because I most definitely could not be you. I however do not know how to switch back. We could try to figure out what caused all this but just in case if we aren't able to right away, do you perhaps think the comeback and world tour could be postponed?"

Abby would normally hate the idea of her favorite group postponing their comeback but it really wouldn't be her favorite group having a comeback if it wasn't with the real Cain, her bias.

"Do you think I'm a solo artist or what? I have no say when my group has a comeback or concerts. I just go along with whatever EVE plans for us."

He did sometimes wished he were a solo artist just so that he would have more control over these types of things but as a trainee he had been put in a group. EVE didn't really debut many solo artists and it was just harder to debut as one.

"Well would it at least be possible to call in sick?"

"You mean to skip all promotions for the comeback and even skip the concerts?"

Abby nodded. She knew it sounded crazy but it would be crazier to have her, an Agoraphobic and Germaphobe to act as an idol. On top of that she had no talent whatsoever with dancing, rapping or singing. The only thing she had experience with was playing some instruments and writing songs but neither of those were things Cain did as an idol.

"Being an idol is not your normal average job. You cannot simply call in sick. And you cannot just think about yourself but you have to consider others as well. Just think about how hard all the other members have worked for this, don't you think they would be disappointed to know that I wanted to skip everything? That would be like I'm neglecting my duties not only to them but to the fans as well. You're a fan, right? Do you at least understand where I'm going with this?" Abby nodded a second time but this time it was with a frown on her face.

"Hey don't frown. That's only going to wrinkle my pretty face. I make money off that face you know."

"I thought you made money out of your talents, not your face."

"Well when your position is that of the visual, part of your job is looking pretty and that means no frowning."

Cain pulled Abby's frown into a smile.

"There. That's better. Now I actually look pretty."

"I thought you said no touching."

"I'm a woman now. I can do whatever I want. You however cannot."

Not only was Abby a man now but she was also an idol so she could somewhat understand why Cain would want her to be careful with her actions but it still didn't make sense for him not to follow the same rules simply because he was a woman now.

"Well that's just sexist."

"Well isn't it always that way? Women get away with doing more things than men do. So now it's my turn to get away with things. I have to get something out of being a woman, don't you think?"

"Abigail Hernandez" A nurse came out to call Abby's name. She stood up immediately but then remembered that she was no longer herself so she sat back down.

"They are calling YOU, Abby." She kicked Cain on the leg to get his attention.

"Oh. Right. I guess that's me now." He stood up and walked towards where the nurse was.

"Well just don't get too used to it! We're switching back the first chance we get!"

If either of them wanted to switch back bodies, it was most likely Abby. She had more reasons not to be him than he had to not be her. At least he wasn't going to have to work. For him it would be just like getting a vacation because there was no way Abby was going to let Cain take over her job as an editor. Most of the jobs she did were in English, some were even in Spanish. Cain didn't know either language so even if she did let him do her job, there was no way he would be able to. So if she wasn't going to be able to "take a break" as Cain the idol, she was going to have to do the job of two people, an editor and an idol. And perhaps even the job of an actress since she would have to act after all.

As if her own job hadn't already been frustrating enough, she was now possibly going to have to do another job, one that she wasn't even sure she could do. Not because she wasn't physically able to but mentally. No one with either Agoraphobia or Mysophobia could ever be an idol. It was impossible and she was sure of that. The job as an idol required you to do all the things an Agoraphobic and Germaphobe feared most.

It had been a week of aches, pains and stiffness but the swelling was something new. Cain looked at his hands, Abby's hands and then at the peanut butter and jelly sandwich he had taken a bite from. The first thing that came to his mind was an allergic reaction. It was the first time since he was in Abby's body that he had eaten something with peanuts. She hadn't told him anything about her having an allergy to them but there was nothing else that could explain the swelling. Not only would the swelling affect him in doing his job but he had also woken up with extreme fatigue that morning. The feeling was almost like when a flu was coming but worse.Already changed and ready to leave for the e.Lee Cosmetics photoshoot, Cain started walking towards the bedroom to grab his phone but even just going a few more steps felt like too much. Feeling sluggish, he could no longer go on and stopped to lay on the couch. Laying made him feel the symptoms even more but just get

Carrying someone the size of Joel was no easy feat for Cain, especially since Abby's body was a lot smaller than his own. He had managed to carry Abby halfway up the staircase but it was then that she started kicking him and telling him to let her go. His back had already been hurting from all the weight it was carrying but her kicking only made it worse since he had to bend down even more just to avoid her kicks. He was near the top when he could no longer carry her. Had it not been for Abel that was there to catch them, they would have most likely fallen down the stairs and because of that Cain felt grateful."How much did she drink?"Abel who had been staring out the window all night had seen when two figures came out of a taxi. As soon as he realized that it was Abby and Cain, he hurried down the stairs with a blanket in hand."3 cans of soju and 3 shots of tequila."Covering Abby with the blanke

<Hey mom. I just wanted to let you know that I have a friend over at my apartment. He's Korean and doesn't know English.>The last thing Abby wanted to do was to end up surprising her mom with a stranger in her apartment. She thought it was for the best to let her know ahead of time, even if it was through a text. It had been weeks since she had actually talked to her mom on the phone.<HE? It's a guy?!>It was just like her mom to only notice the word "he" and then go all crazy about it. Almost 7 years of a daughter not dating would do that to any mother. And the fact that Abby was just one year away from being 30 only made matters worse.<Yes mom. Now please don't make such a big deal like you did with Cain. Joel is only a friend.><No boy in front of that friend?"<NO.><Well it doesn't matter. You'll prob

They had returned back to the dorms and once more Abby had to get adjusted to being called by a different name and not only her but Joel as well. Since they weren't practicing but had the day off, all of the members were at the dorms. Normally on their days off they would go see their families but since half of them were sick, they couldn't. And since both Abby and Joel weren't sick, they were expected to take care of the members that were. The sick members would call out to them but instead of Abby responding to Joel's name, she responded to Cain's. And instead of Joel responding to Cain's name, he responded to his own name. It had the members confused as to what was going on with the two but they would both just laugh it off and say they had just heard wrong."It would be so much easier if all the members just knew."Joel heaved a sigh as he sat down next to Abby. He had just finished helping Seth hang up lights he had bought for their roo

The next morning Abby woke up in an unfamiliar bedroom. She knew as soon as she opened her eyes since the ceiling appeared to be much closer to her, it meant she was higher up off the ground. Looking down, she saw Eli sleeping. Then looking to the side of the room there was a single bed with a sleeping Seth. It was obvious that she was in one of the other bedrooms. And considering how it was the room of the members that hadn't been sick, Abby thought that perhaps Abel had somehow carried her there. He had mentioned to her before about how they could switch up rooms so that she wouldn't have to be with him since he was sick.Looking at the alarm clock on the nightstand, Abby saw that it was 10 minutes till the alarm would go off. Having woken up because she needed to go to the bathroom, she climbed down the bunk bed's ladder. She noticed that her legs didn't seem as long and that her arms seemed more muscular but ignored those things thinking it was just her mind

It wasn't Abel's snoring that had kept Abby up that night but instead it was what she had heard him say before he got into bed. Had anyone else told her that Cain liked her, she wouldn't have believed it. But Abel had sounded so certain when he said those things. There was no doubt in his words and yet she wanted to doubt them. She didn't want another person liking her. But just like she had analyzed Abel's words and actions, she analyzed Cain's as well. She remembered a saying that her sister once told her many years ago, "A guy is only ever that nice and caring to a girl when he likes her." Abby was barely in the 7th grade when her sister told her this. And her sister being 11 years older than her and with more experience had of course been right. Because that saying had turned out to be true when a month later Abby's best friend Brandon confessed to her.All that time she thought her best guy friend waking up early so he could walk
