Chapter 3: Invitation

I can't focus during class hour, I am so lethargic. Thank God, I can still answer recitations or else I'm doomed.

“Hey are you okay? you look so drained, Didn't you sleep?” It was just a nap that I did.

“I slept, but I finished the plates, so I need to sleep in a shorter time.”

“You should just wake up early, take care of yourself it's hard to get anemia.”

“You're so advance, I won't die easily. ” She just laughed of what I said, I looked at the group entered the caf. They are four, the first one is Jered Levis, the rudest of them, he is the one I often meet, and he is also the one I hate the most from their group, there's something on him I couldn't like.

Next, Mario Gostav' Alande---The Mr. Perfectionist. I heard lot of things about him, and he really loves to correct everything.

'Dude, fillet as in filley not fillet as in fi-let, that's silent'

'The measurement isn't fine with me, We should make another one.'

'I want a perfect one'

Those are just some things I heard from him, and he is also one of those I couldn't really like, actually I hate their group--to be honest. Maybe if we can have a chance to be together, I will never stay longer. I don't like someone who has the habit of controlling oneself, and notices all of your mistakes, dectating you of what you should do like you don't have your own mind to decide, I pity him and his future family.

Clover Leaf Ansel, the guy who loves to laugh at someone's downfall.

He laughs at everything, even just simple mistakes, a very offensive actions that could make you lose your self-esteem. It is difficult with him to be in the same classroom because when you make a mistake in reciting or even solving a mathematical problem, he will surely laugh at you.

And the last,

Draven Reil Montecillo, the campus crush cold-hearted guy who loves to play with girls.

He was quiet but when he spoke, surely it hurts more than you could ever think of. He is good, frank, and he will say what he wants even if it could hurt others. Besides, he's rude over people he doesn't like, and I am one of them. With all of them, Drei is still a bit okay for me, there is still a sense in his evil behavior.

“He's melting so fast, Ice cream might get jealous!” I came back to reality when Kiara spoke.

Kiara hates their group too, cause they are bunched of jerks.

“Drei is really handsome, isn't he? Ugh! If I were his girlfriend, we would have fallen in bed right away I will really give him my body and my heart.”

“Sheess! I just can't accept and understand it, why Zaira when I am still here! I can be his slave.”

“Stupid! They're not officially yet! They're just dating, you still have a chance to take him.away from her.” I was not surprised at how much they liked Drei.

I was shocked to hear that Drei and Zaira. They're dating? I feel a lamp on my throat. He's dating behind my back? Feeling annoyed, I clenched my fist which kiara immediately touched it, trying to calm me.

“Oh what the hell are you doing here nerd ?!” I did not look at whoever she is, the hell I care?

“Hey! I am talking to you! You're not even clean and beautiful.” Wow!

I sighed and faced her raising her eyebrow at me.

“Pardon?”

“I thought you were smart? Stupid! I said why are you here?”

Stupid is different from the deaf, I can still accept if she says I am deaf rather than stupid tss. “

It's a cafeteria and I'm hungry? Aren't all hungry people go here? Where should I go then? To the library? In case books are already edible? ” I heard 'oooohs!' To those who hear us while he is stunned by me. I also heard kiara almost laugh if she just didn't cover it.

“Stupid! What I mean is! You shouldn't be here! Trash don't eat!”

“As far as I know, garbage don't breathe, but you can smell it from your breath--- looks like yours, it smells rotten.” I heard a laugh that made her face turn redder. I maybe a nerd, but told you not the typical one, especially now that I am fast asleep and my head heats up quickly. I don't have longer patience to let her.

“How dare you!” she quickly picked up my juice and immediately threw it at me. I heard gasps. I looked at Kiara who also looked surprised and when I looked down at the table I saw the plates I had worked so hard to finish last night. My eyes widen literally.

“Shit!” I hurriedly stood up and tried to dry it, but can't.

“Ops! I mean it.” I shut my eyes tightly and stopping myself from doing something I knew would not be good for me. I quickly arranged my things and chose to leave before I've lost my control and wring that bitch' filthy neck. Kiara immediately followed, silently.

“Looser! Pretending to be brave where seh's really not. Tss!”

I was distracted by Drei's friends, and they were laughing. I seriously walked out while Kiara was quite the whole time that we are walking as if thinking on how she could talk to me. 

“You alright?”

“No,” that's the truth. I was mad inside but I need to.

“If you just ignored it, I guess it won't happen.”

“Next time,”

“How about that?” She points out my plates.

“Kiara do it first.” Shit! Just tired of doing it. We went straight to the student park to do my plate. I have tried doing it faster, but it always ends up being crumpled. Fuck! I am dominated by different emotions. I saw Drei's group again, and he's with Zaira too.Drei likes her, I already knew that even before we got married. And I was more disgusted.

“Can't do it now? Let yourself rest first Mav---and try to finish it after.” I'm still sleepy and I could easily get bored when I want to sleep like this.

I have a lot of habits hidden, so much that when I release them, I know I will get hurt or someone will get hurt by me.

So as much as possible I try to be calm and just understand everything. I do not fight, because I know when I do they can't win against me.

I just couldn’t stop talking earlier because I wasn’t in the mood.

“Hi, Mavis.” I turned to face the owner of that boice and wondered what he needs from me.

“Hello,”

“I want to invite you on my birthday, is that okay?” I looked at the invitation he was holding, and still I saw the kind of look he was trying to hide, I immediately caught him and his motive, he can't foll me.

“Why are you inviting me? We are not even close.”

“Well, you like one of my friend right? So please come.” I don't know how they find out about me having a crush on drei, I never confessed my feelings in front of everyone, I am not that stupid. Maybe someone leaked an information she or he heard from me and kiara's conversations. Bunch of stupids.

I wanted to raise an eyebrow at him but because I was taking care of something, I did not.

“All right,”

“Wear anything you want ... I'll wait for you.” He even winked at me that I wanted to frown but there were so many people watching, so I just choose to look down as my lips formed a grin.

“Don't tell me you're coming? Please don't Mavis, even if Draven is there ... you're still not sure what they will do to you.”

'Before I could answer, my phone vibrated.

'Levis Residence, tomorrow night 8 pm. Rm 3 '

I knew it.

I faced Kiara with my calm face.

“There's nothing wrong, I'll just try. Maybe Drei won't let something happen to me, or his parents will get mad at him.” She shook her head after hearing what I've said.

“I really can't understand whay are you so kind and easily to deceive.”

If you only knew Kiara, It was not my purpose---I have something to do. And that's the reason why I am coming.
