In my sleep I felt something warm that first touched my forehead and then my lips. Unable to think about it, I also felt how after a few minutes something large and incredibly warm snuggled against my body. I let out a pleasant sigh. To pass the time I went to sleep, but now I ordered my eyes to open. My gaze met that of ice-green eyes.

"Nyria." I breathed drowsy. She smiled.

"Hello, my handsome," she said softly. Her hand took mine, which was under the covers.

"Did you sleep well?" She mumbled.

"Go." I mumbled and pulled her into my arms. I buried my nose in her silky hair and inhaled the scent of roses.

"Nice to have you back." I greeted her somewhat awake.

"Did you think I'd leave you alone with the devil?" She replied, laughing softly, and kissed the crook of my neck.

"Probably not voluntarily, no." I mumbled and closed my eyes again. With this woman in my arms, I would sleep better. Was I still so tired because I slept alone in a bed for once?

"Zayn, may I ask you something?" She breathed suddenly. I growled in confirmation.

"How do you feel about your brothers?" She whispered. I thought for a moment, amazed at the question.

“It may be a thing of the past, but I still sometimes hate them. Above all towards Nereus. I vowed revenge on myself at the time, I didn't really let that dissuade me. Does this fact frighten you? ”Was my completely serious answer.

"No.", she replied and snuggled closer to me.

"You want the hierarchy of the archangels to go away, am I right?" She added.

"Yes."

I silently wondered why she was talking about it. I didn't dare to ask about it yet.

“Back then, Ezekiel felt betrayed by you, Zayn. He had expected that you would save him from exile. "

I promptly opened my eyes again. So she could get down to business that quickly ... I sighed softly.

“Amazingly, Ezekiel always seemed to have liked me. He was also the one who always left me alone while the others pestered me. He has abused his power several times. Not that I had a problem with him, but even if I had defended him he would have been banned. After all, they all agreed. Maybe I was too arrogant to help him, but I've already paid the price. "

I stared thoughtfully into space.

"So he was hoping for my help," I muttered. "You seem to have had a long conversation with him."

"Yes," she replied. "So, you want revenge, right?"

I just nodded.

"What if you can have it?"

Slowly she scared me. What was she trying to suggest?

"Nyria!" I growled demanding. She looked at me guiltily.

"Please keep calm, will you?"

She took a deep breath and then sat up. Whatever was coming now, she apparently knew that I would not agree with it.

"Ezekiel and you, you will ... work together."

A loud roar reached my ears, which made the corners of my mouth twitch. Looked like Nyria Zayn was just reporting what she had experienced. Immediately after her return, she came to me to tell me about everything. As expected, she had remained matter-of-fact. I would have loved to know what role her feelings played in all of this, but I held back with my questions. I would put everything in the woman's hands and I had already told her that. From now on it was entirely up to them how to proceed. She was smart and realistic and she would be able to judge how I was supposed to deal with Ezekiel. She hadn't elaborated on it, but it seemed to me that she got along very well with her ancestor. She certainly wouldn't let Ezekiel talk to her, but caution was advised. Nyria was sensitive and extremely soulful. If you had used her feelings, you had her on your side. So of course it was no wonder that she was so cold and withdrawn towards others. Another reason for her heartless appearance was that she didn't want to be hurt. Probably hardly anyone had found out about it so far, I was probably an exception together with Zayn. Speaking of Zayn, he just came rushing into the hall, closely followed by Nyria.

"You just let that happen?" He roared. Again I had a ringing in my ears, but I didn't let it show.

“First: Nyria is quite capable of assessing this situation. She knows what she's doing, believe me. And secondly: from now on she has it in her hand. If you look at it carefully, all of this is still your problem. I didn't have to help you, but I did. From now on Nyria makes the decisions, I'll stay out of it. "

My words left the fallen man staring up at me in disbelief. Apparently he couldn't believe what he had just heard. Smiling, I got up to stroll out of the hall.

"I'm really excited to see what you're going to do next."

I looked after the devil in disbelief. Had he put the reins in Nyria's hand? Why? Did he have such confidence in her abilities? But that wasn't the only thing that shocked me. Should I work with Ezekiel? I admitted that I still liked the idea of vengeance, but to retaliate with Ezechel seemed strange to me. My brother probably wanted revenge on me too, so why should he want to work with me? I also admitted that we had a common goal and nothing would go wrong with Nyria by our side, but I just didn't like the whole thing. Nyria had told me everything earlier, especially emphasizing that she had set the conditions. Among other things, his and my collaboration. From what she observed, he had been just as irritated by this as I was now. So he didn't know what to make of it either. I shook my head. Maybe I should just wait for Ezekiel and I to speak? I didn’t believe it, but maybe there was a reasonable debate after all? Nyria seemed to have noticed that I was calmer because she took my hand.

"Is it going again?" She asked with a wink and smiled. I sighed, but nodded, then ran a hand through my hair.

"Yes. I must have overreacted, I'm sorry. "

She laughed softly and kissed my cheek.

"We'll manage it, don't worry," she whispered and pulled me back into the room we had come from.

Angry, Nereus rushed into the great hall in which all the other archangels were already seated. Ty and Fare suspected they were getting bad news.

“What's the matter, Nereus? You look like something happened. ”, Fare said calmly, without taking his eyes off the man.

"Yes," he growled and sat down on his seat. Nereus sighed, rubbed his temples, and then began to talk.

“I tried a few more times to track down Vaher and the girl and found out that the girl had returned to the castle without our brother. And now guess who joined us. "

The other archangels exchanged looks.

"Out with the language!" Demanded Fare bitingly. She already knew the answer.

"You and Ezekiel passed the time with a chat.", Nereus solved the riddle and watched as most of the others let out a low growl.

"Did you understand what they were talking about?" Ty asked the crucial question. Everyone else was apparently speechless.

  • Meeting A Stranger (Complete✔)   Epilogue

Laughing, she gouged out his eyes, cut off his ears and nose, drilled holes in his skull and then peeled off his skin. Everything alive. Both the ground and herself were marked with blood in the end."I hope I never have to kill anyone again," she said to her husband one evening in the shower."Because it was so horrible for you?" He replied. She had shaken her head and rested her head on his chest."No. Because it was so much fun. "Sighing, I looked over the land, which shone in a rich green. Spring had come. The fifth that I have already seen here. And even though I've been here for so long, I still couldn't get enough of the beauty of heaven. Yes, I lived here now. This was my new home. I still couldn't believe what had happened after the fight with Nereus. Zayn had actually been out to start another fight, the archangels had realized that too. You were understanding. And now? Today there were no more archangels. No, they had

  • Meeting A Stranger (Complete✔)   Not over yet

With rattling breath, I tried to calm myself down. We'd already done almost all of them and that in less than a quarter of an hour. Most of them were dead and you could see that from me and the others. We were covered in blood and wounds, but everyone had already healed. So while we were standing here suddenly there was a high and high-pitched scream. It was only then that I realized that Nyria was not near me. And although this was the first time I heard this kind of scream, I knew immediately who it was from. Only a few minutes passed before she stood in the middle of the hall. Her top was torn, there was a long and incredibly deep cut in her abdominal wall and she was just soaked with all the blood. With her eyes she looked for me. She was trembling, could barely stand on her feet. The faster I had to react. I ran to her, pulled her into my arms and brushed the sweat-sticky hair from her forehead. She almost lost her balance. She allowed herself to be in my arms for

  • Meeting A Stranger (Complete✔)   Blood

Ten minutes had passed, but in those ten minutes the Archangels' Hall had become a battlefield. Blood was spreading on the floor and I, too, had suffered quite a bit. I did not feel well. All attacks were aimed at me, and although this seemed like my fight, everyone else was fighting. They all defended me, did not let anyone approach me, but I was full of blood. It wasn't my own. I was not disgusted, but I felt sorry for the fallen. What had Nereus told the fallen that made them just throw themselves into danger? Nereus wanted me dead, so what use was it all? What would their reward have been? I looked around in the fray, avoiding a severed hand. I actually felt sorry for the fallen. I mean, I wouldn't be keen on a missing hand. Even Zayn was engrossed in a fight with them. He was hurt. A laceration was clearly visible on his temple. I almost smiled. It reminded me of how I found him. Injured in an alley. Ingrateful and naughty. Arrogant and without scruples. Nobody paid any attenti

Say, are you going to interfere?" She asked softly. He almost got the impression that she was the most vulnerable woman in the universe. Why hadn't he noticed earlier how pretty she really was? Lucifer studied her closely. In these long, blonde curls that shimmered like gold, he would have loved to dig with his hands. Her big blue eyes looked at him almost fearfully. She didn't look like an angel, no, nowhere near. She could have been a fairy. Petite, fragile and beautiful. But behind this beautiful mask sat an archangel. So she too could become something that was anything but beautiful. Still ... he recognized the true essence in her. The helpless woman who just wanted to be protected. He blinked. It's been silent for far too long.“If Nereus gets into debt within the two days, then I definitely won't sit still. If nothing happens, you will not see me again. "Chest rose and stretched.“I'm sorry, but that's all too much for me. Maybe a

I didn't like these pejorative looks at all."Just imagine before you talk to me like that," I said now. Suddenly the one with the unusual eyes smiled.“Little one, I like you. I bet you belong to Zayn. "I liked his tone of voice. I dropped my mask and smiled."Right. I am Nyria. ", I replied and held out my hand to him.Contrary to my expectations, his handshake was gentle and it seemed to me that he could understand why I was so dismissive in the first place.“I'm Trae, I'm happy. Behind me are Gaven, Jaze, and Kuja. We are ghouls. "I almost grimaced at his words. Ghouls? Wasn't that body eater? Kind of disgusting ... I felt a gentle breath inside. It was Zayn who wanted to find out how I was feeling. A soft laugh reached my ears. Apparently he found my reaction funny."So you are the little Nephilim that everyone is after.", The ghoul with the black eyes spoke up. It was Jaze."Everyone is af

“Little one, you are incorrigible. Be that as it may, I would advise against just marching in there. Give them five days. If they haven't stopped Nereus by then, you can act. Find some reliable people. They should be good fighters because no one can say how the guardian angels will react when they see you. It is quite possible that they believe that you would want to snatch the kingdom of heaven. "I only understood the station and cocked my head."What are Guardian Angels, please?" I asked and looked at Zayn expectantly. His hand poked my side briefly.“Guardian angels are not far below the archangels. They are the protectors, make sure that everyone obeys the law and nobody causes trouble. They protect the archangels and should they notice an uninvited guest in heaven, he can be prepared for something. Either the intruder is tortured and thrown into the dungeon, or he ends up right at Lucifer's feet. "Amused by the choice of words, th
