Leo carefully looked around to see any traps or monsters that might be lurking as he didn't think a treasure chest would be so easy to find. When he didn't find anything Leo slowly and carefully made his way towards the treasure chest.
After reaching the treasure chest Leo inspected it and found that it was a Mythical Treasure Chest. He was so happy with joy that he tried to open the chest, but soon to his regret it showed him that it was locked and his [Lock Picking Skill is Low]. Leo didn't give up and kept trying for a few times but the chest lock didn't budge as he kept failing.
Normally treasure chests are unlocked and players can get what the find inside. But there are other types of Treasure chests which are [Locked Treasure Chest], [Sealed Treasure Chest], and [Trial Treasure Chest].
Sealed Treasure Chest requirements usually vary as they need a specific key found in the region of the treasure chest which is mostly with the boss of the region. And Trial Treasure Chest requires the player to pass the trial made by the chest to get the items inside.
But locked chests need the corresponding skill level of [Lockpicking]. Leo hasn't even unlocked the lockpicking skill and couldn't even properly start the unlocking process. With his disappointment of not being able to open a mythical treasure chest, Leo looked around at the herbs with hope.
But alas his hope was crushed as even the herbs were too high level as he couldn't even try gathering them.
Leo then again heard the voice telling him to go deeper into the forest. Leo sighed and slowly made his way inside the forest. Along the way, Leo saw about 4 more locked chests of the same grade.
Even more ridiculous was the number of high-level herbs and minerals found in this forest. Dejected that he was not able to even get a single piece of anything Leo sulkily made his way deep into the forest.
To his surprise, there were no monsters inside the forest as he hasn't seen even one yet. When he finally reached a portal in a clearing of the forest. He heard the voice beckoning him towards the portal.
Leo resolved himself for any danger as he entered the portal. As his vision quickly switched several times till he found himself in a huge hall.
As he looked around he found a wide space as big as a football field, but it looked small due the to 16 towering statues inside the circular hall. There was a podium in the middle of the hall and his instinct told him to move forward.
When he reached the podium he could see a pair of footmarks on the floor and as Leo resolved himself for any unforeseen events he stepped onto the foot mark. Just when he firmly stood on the footmark all the 15 Statues around him gave out bright lights through their eyes along with tremendous pressure unlike any he had ever felt in his past lives.
Leo was startled and looked around cautiously as he heard the voice from before, As he looked around he focused his direction to look at the direction of a statue of a beautiful woman nothing unlike he had ever seen before. When he looked closely he could feel new information transmitting to his mind.[Goddess of Life - Heather]
"Don't scare the child, stop testing him we have already waited for a long time."
" Okay Okay, we will stop the pressure, But look at that bewildered look. Priceless hahaha."
As he heard the 2nd voice he turned around to look at a different statue as new information came in again.[God of Shadow - Arknim]
Then Leo started looking at the statues one by one to look at the information of these gods. Starting from the right to podium it was,

Leo got the information of all the gods and goddesses after looking at all the statues with glowing eyes. As soon as he finished digesting all the information he heard the voices again,
[Goddess of Life - Heather] " I will speak on behalf of us all."
"Child we are the gods of the past, you are now standing in the Hall of Legacy."
"We have stored the different legacies of each of us and now you have a chance to inherit one of our legacies."
"Think well-child, and choose one legacy of your liking as it is your privilege as the Alpha."
Leo was confused at first because of all the pressure and information passed down on him. But now he was so happy that he could inherit one of the legacies of the gods this early in the game. Also as the first person the Alpha he could make his own choice.
"Every legacy comes with its mission and power along with the responsibilities you have to carry so choose wisely."
Leo looked again at every one of the statues to see if he could glean in any more information from the statues and also to organize the previously collected information.

Leo made his way towards Ethan and Erza with his name being slightly red he didn't have any other choice. Currently, Ethan is Level 7, and Leo and Erza are Level 8. With his siblings catching up to his level Leo felt joy and was happy for them.Leo swore to protect them in this life because 2 years back when he was 13 he had severe infection and fever for 10 straight days in the winter vacation. Even though he was admitted and cured of the disease, he could still remember his brother and sister trying everything they can to ensure his survival.Ethan 8 right then and he had to rush out of the house and find Jordan by his house. Maybe that's why he had sheathed his swords. Although he swore to get revenge for this humiliation, he knew now was not the right time since the enemy was overwhelmingly strong.ScreamingBlade soon calmed down and looked straight at Leo and smirked as he said, " Looks like you have finally recognized our symbol. Leo calmed down his breathing and closed his eyes as he saw the group approaching his location with any care as they were laughing and mocking how they were gonna kill a legacy owner. Just when the clueless group was within his reach Leo unsheathed both his swords at the ready.As two players walked past him and he was surrounded by the 5 unsuspecting players, Leo opened his eyes that now had a murderous glint in them.
