24.The Inheritor

Leo organized the information he had about the gods, but all he could get was the names and corresponding elements or power that the god wields. Also, a treat to the eyes were the original images of the gods and goddess. Leo thought the gods were handsome and okay, but when his eyes landed on each goddess felt like his mind was gonna explode due to the overwhelming world crushing beauty before him.

Leo took a moment to calm down after he appreciated the beauty and handsomeness of the gods. Then set his focus on choosing the legacy suited for him. Leo kept looking around him and was in an undecided state.

But what happened was that Leo was not the only one choosing the legacy, his past lives demeanor appeared on him as he fluctuated with 8 different personalities. One might wonder what happened to his last personality as he was supposed to have reincarnated 9 times.

The thing is Kaila the first reincarnation didn't bother changing his decision, as the other personalities and experiences made him unable to choose between the 16 legacies.

Leo continued on like this for 60 minutes before something different happened. As the gods were watching Leo undergo different personality changes they were also shocked to see 8 different auras on Leo. But the thing that shocked them the most was the last emerging aura of Kaila which even scared them a bit.

Suddenly 9 out of the 16 legacies glowed brighter as the other legacies dimmed down. And Leo's Vision blanked out before he could find out what the system notification was and the last thing he heard was multiple voices of the gods.

"You have Inherited My Legacy."

[Northern Continent Announcement: The Northern Continent is awarded with 1.5xExp for a Week]

The two Announcements shocked all the players in the game, Especially all the major corporations and guilds and countries that have invested into the game.

The game was divided into 4 Continents namely North, East, West, South. And people in all the continents were wondering who was the player that could get a god's legacy this early into the game.

The Upper Echelons of the various large guilds were having a meeting to find out who the player was. But the most shocking thing was that the other continents only heard 1 World Announcement while the northern continent heard 2 extra and the 1.5Exp award made them delighted as this could give them an edge in future battles against other continents.

The Upper Echelons and government officials were in a frenzied state as they knew the person who activated the God's Legacy was someone from their northern region. Which drove them insane as they contacted all the top players from the past to inquiry if it was them but to no avail.

They went on for about 2 more hours before the people from other continents also learned about 2nd announcement. They were mad and jealous since the first achievement was not theirs.

The government was making a list of possible people who could be the first inheritor as people who could achieve this feat mostly tend to be low profile. Surprisingly Leo's name was on the list just because he was the first one to make the Northern Region Announcement.

Everything slowly settled down, but everyone was still searching for any clues on who that person might be and was waiting for the media to give full coverage of it. The poor media was on the verge of madness because even they couldn't find any clues or hints about the first inheritor.

After about 4 Hours Leo walks up in his game capsule, he was slightly dizzy and dazed. He couldn't figure out what happened and why he slept off in the middle of gaming time. He didn't even know about the big chaos he caused in the gaming world and also he didn't know that he was not only the First Inheritor but the First Nine Inheritance were with him.

Leo got up and ate an apple to refresh himself then went back to the gaming capsule as he logged on.

Leo knew he had slept for 4 hours after looking at his time and just went on to see what happened that he went into safety sleep mode.

When his vision cleared he found himself in the middle of the respawn point of the village, he looked around to see players moving about and a few players respawning. Leo walked out of the crowd and went towards a remote area. Then he sent a message to his brother [StarWarrior].

"Come to this coordinates with Erza, I am waiting here."

It wasn't long before 2 players came before him, one was [StarWarrior] Ethan and the other was [ScarletWitch] Erza. They both looked a little gloomy as they called out to their brother.

"Big bro you have to avenge us those bad guys killed us and took Ethan's Axe."

Leo was not expecting someone to kill them, but thinking about it Ethan's Axe must have incited others' greed. So he asked, "Who are they? I will make them pay for messing with my family."

"Bro you don't have to. They are a group of red players."

"Just tell me who they are, Didn't I tell you how strong your brother is?

"Fine. They called themselves members of [DarkBeasts]. I heard that they are an infamous group of Pkers and Red Names."

"DarkBeasts is it. Wait till I find and slaughter them."

Seeing as both Ethan and Erza were scared by the aura released by his anger, Leo suppressed himself and looked at the System Notifications.
