A light tapping sound on my door jolted me out of the best sleep of my life. Whatever Kendra had done felt like a drug, addicting and perfect. I wanted her to do that every night, so I could sleep like a baby. Begrudgingly I removed myself from under the covers and slumped my way towards the door. Dinner is held in a vast dining hall, like what Vikings would have gathered at, back on earth. Large, intricately carved wooden columns line the center of the room. Separating it into two sides, two long wooden mahogany tables with many hand-carved ridged back chairs are in place. Crystal chandeliers hang over the tables in a parallel row, shooting diamond-shaped light over the room. The clinking of glasses, silverware, and soft murmurs of conversations echo through the rooms cathedral ceilings, as waitresses and a solitary Butler stand at attention along the sides of the room. Over 130 beings are dining in this great hall.
