  • PROJECT L.E.A.H   Chapter In Between- Friendship

A light tapping sound on my door jolted me out of the best sleep of my life. Whatever Kendra had done felt like a drug, addicting and perfect. I wanted her to do that every night, so I could sleep like a baby. Begrudgingly I removed myself from under the covers and slumped my way towards the door. There wasn’t a smell coming from whoever was on the other side; I assumed it was Byren or Kendra. They didn’t have a distinct scent or one at all for that matter. And of course, I was right. To my surprise, Byren stood, holding a tray of sweet-smelling treats and breakfast.&n

  • PROJECT L.E.A.H   Chapter 4- Adjusting

Dinner is held in a vast dining hall, like what Vikings would have gathered at, back on earth. Large, intricately carved wooden columns line the center of the room. Separating it into two sides, two long wooden mahogany tables with many hand-carved ridged back chairs are in place. Crystal chandeliers hang over the tables in a parallel row, shooting diamond-shaped light over the room. The clinking of glasses, silverware, and soft murmurs of conversations echo through the rooms cathedral ceilings, as waitresses and a solitary Butler stand at attention along the sides of the room. Over 130 beings are dining in this great hall.

  • PROJECT L.E.A.H   Chapter 3- "Heyamo"

Vibrant lights pierce my eyes as I force my sedated eyelids to open. Groggily I search for familiar surroundings only to find none. The emptiness of space penetrates back at me through the tinted glass of the aircraft. Gasping for precious air, I attempt to accumulate myself.

  • PROJECT L.E.A.H   Chapter 2- The Escape

3 am. Suddenly, I’m jolted from my sleep; Ming awkwardly grabs me and throws me over a shoulder.“What’s happening?” my shrill voice asks as I cling to him tightly. Then I smell the smoke. The house is ablaze.
