MasukAmanda broke into tears, thinking back about how much effort her parents have put in just to raise someone who disgraces her own city. She really hope that her parents would be able to talk to her whenever she needs help, whenever she was feeling down, whenever she needs a hug. The sound of her sobs became louder but no one stopped by to calm her down even when they walked passed her.
Suddenly, she heard the rythm of the heart rate monitor beeping faster. Her impulses were sent to her brain that danger was occuring. Amanda hurried over to the glass window, putting both her hands on the glass as if she would break it to enter the room. Beads of tears rolled down her cheek, smudging her make up. Her maskcara mixed with her tears, dissolving in it and flowing down her cheek like she was crying black tears.
Suddenly, a little kid held her hand, shaking it to raise attention. Amanda slowly turned her neck to look at the kid, warming her heart a little when he held her hands. The kid was around five years old, not knowing that he shook the hand of the person who disgraced the city. He smiled at Amanda, making her even heartening to have someone who cared about her feelings.
The five year old kid's mother shouted from afar, running towards her boy and grabbed him away from Amanda. Everyone looked at her and some whispered among themselves, using their index finger to point at her.
The boy looked innocently at his mother, asking what the grab was for. She explained that Amanda was known as a monster to Beauty city because of her size. The boy wondered why his mother judged others by their sizes. He did not care about his mother's words and even wrote a note, tipping toe to reach her coat's pocket. His mother was surprised that he was not afraid of the giant and even left a note. The little boy waived to Amanda before holding his mother's hand, walking away from Amanda.
Back to worrying about her parents, her heart rate was still pumping fast. It was like a cliffhanger of the climax, not knowing what would happen next. The heart monitor did not beep faster now, it was just a signal that the patient's heart had stop pumping. " EEeeeeee", that was what Amanda heard. The sound became more and more faint, stopping at a moment.
Amanda saw blurry parts of the hospital's ceiling, lying on the stretcher motionlessly. She took more than thirty seconds to sit up, looking around for her parents. Knowing that she fainted due to tremendous stress, she did not care at all. The only thing that was in her mind was her parents.
Running to room twenty eight again, there was no one seen. Her heart started pounded faster, telling herself that her parents would not be that cruel to leave her so soon. Amanda took the chance to ask the nurse who was going into room twenty eight to clean the operation table. The nurse looked at her fatty body from her head to toe, judging her inwardly. Then, said that her perents passed away and their crops were in the the seventh level of the hospital.
There was no time to delay, rushing up as quickly as she could to see her parents one last time. Amanda saw the room tag that spelled " Mr and Mrs Beach", barging into the room to see her parents. She just could not believe her eyes that two dead bodies were in front of her, covered with a pall. Her hands quivered to uncover the face of the dead bodies. In less than a second, tears cascaded down her cheeks, crying like an injured kid who had their knees scrapped.
At that point, Amanda was lost, she did not know what to do and how she was going to continue her life. After a few minutes, the nurses had prepared to clear the crops. She tried to stop the nurses but they did not cared about her feelings. There was pushing and pulling in order to stop the nurses from clearing the crops. Luckily, there were a few nurses who cleared the crops, if not, they would end up flat like prata without even finishing their job.
There were ten nurses who came in to clear the crops, weighing up to 900 kg when added all of their weights. Seven of them blocked her from getting in contact with the other nurses who were clearing the crops. Amanda was helpless, dropping on the floor forlornly. She cried till her tears dried up, nurses trying to drag her out of the room as it was already six in the evening. It was then, they had to call the securities to drag her out of the hospital.
Amanda dragged her feet home, head looking on the floor as she walks. Tears start to well up again, causing her vision to become blurry. Her chin was wet as her tears gathered.
When she was home, she sat on her couch motionlessly, thinking back about the moments her parents have spent with her on the couch. Memories of watching football match together while eating supper, watching movies on the television and catching up with their favourite variety show.Thoughts of having a complete family kept lingering in her mind.
It was then, she thought of the kid in the hospital who left a note in her coat's pocket. It was a piece of paper that was thorn in all directions due to time constrain. On the paper itself, it has patterns of bears which was comforting when Amanda saw it. In her mind, she was doubting that peice of paper as no one had show care or concern to her and the kid actually was the first one other than her parents. She unfold the paper once as her hands quivered a bit. She did not want to get hurt again as her mood was already low enough.
