Chapter 19: Trapped

James’s POV

Today when classes are over, Selena and I will make my plan, which is operation: Anna and Ace.

Its already breaks time, and I'm going to say my plan to Selena.

"Selena, I have something to say to you,"

“Ok. What is it, James?”

"Ace likes Anna,"

“What? Really? OMG!”

"Yes. Ace told me yesterday, and he wanted to talk to Anna, but Anna is avoiding him"

"Yup, she is avoiding Ace,"

"And I have the perfect plan,"

“And what is that?”

"Let's trap them in a room,"

"You know that you got a great plan. That would work. Count me in,"

"Ok. I call this operation, Operation: Anna and Ace,"

“Ok, so where will we trap them?”

"I'm thinking of the storage room,"

I told Selena about my plan. The plan is, Selena will trap Anna first, and then Selena will text me that she is done trapping Anna. And then, I will make my move to convince Ace to come to me to the storage room and then trap him there. For sure, they will have time alone there and will talk things out. I hope my plan would work.

Annalise’s POV

When classes are over, I put my things inside my bag. I was about to go outside the room when Selena called me.

“What is it, Sel?”

“Can you come with me to the storage room?”

“Why are you going there?”

"I need to pick something there,"

“Ok?”

Selena and I went to the storage room. We went inside.

“What are you going to get here, Sel?”

I heard the door shut.

“Sel? Selena!”

Great, I’m trapped here. What is Selena thinking?

Narrator’s POV

After Selena trapped Annalise at the storage room, she texted James that she already trapped Annalise, and it's James's turn.

James is going to Ace’s classroom.

"Ace. Can you come to me in the storage room?"

"Why?"

“Please, just come with me?”

“Ok”

James and Ace went to the storage room. When James opened the storage room, he pushed Ace inside and locked the door.

"Good luck, bro!"

Prince Ace’s POV

Great, James trapped me here in the storage room.

“Ace?”

“Anna? What are you doing here?”

“Selena trapped me here. You?”

"James also trapped me here,"

"Maybe they plan to trap us here,"

There's silence.

It is James's plan. I know it's his plan.

I looked at Anna, and she is sitting quietly. I think this is the right time to talk and confess my feelings to her.

“Uhm, Anna. Are you seeing someone?”

“Huh? No. What did you ask?”

“Nothing”

Yes, so I have a chance.

"Anna. I need to tell you something,"

“What is it?”

"During the university festival. I'm sorry,"

"You don't need to say sorry. I was the one at fault,"

"No. Let me finish first,"

“Ok”

"I'm sorry that I rejected you. After that, I know that you are avoiding me, and I felt sad. I had a dream one day about those days when we are still in a fake relationship. How I miss those days. One day, I saw you talking to a guy, and I felt this weird feeling. James said that I was jealous, and I am. James also said that I need to realize something and quick. That night I kept on thinking about it, and I've realized that I like you, Anna. You know that I'm happy and energetic when I'm with you. I also felt my heart skip a bit, but I just ignore it because I’m not interested in love. I like you, Anna. Will you accept my feelings?”

After confessing to Anna, Anna became silent. If she would reject me, I will accept it.

"Ace. I was avoiding you because I want to forget my feelings towards you, but it did not work. I still like you, Ace,"

“So, can I court you?”

“Uhum. Definitely yes”

"Yes! Thank you, Anna,"

I hugged Anna, and she hugged me back. Yes, Anna still likes me. I am so happy.

Suddenly the door opened.

“Oops, sorry. Are we interrupting something?”

And it’s Selena and James.

“So, are you two ok now?”

“Yup”

“Are you supposed to thank us in setting you two up?”

"Thank you to both of you,"

"You need to thank James because it's his plan,"

"Thank you, James,"

"No problem, bro. I need to make my move. As your best buddy, I'm concerned about your love life,"

"Come here you,"

I wrestled James.

“Ok, ok. Stop! Let’s just eat outside. How about that?”

“Sure. Let’s go!”

And we went outside to eat.
