Chapter 11

Lucifer- 

I stumbled into the library. Poured myself a bourbon and switched on the radio. I fell back against the chair out of breath and holding my left side. My mark was burning like hell from the moment Rosemary kissed me. I took off my shirt so my wound could breathe. I lit my cigarette and tilted my head back to relax. I needed to clear my thoughts yet all I could think about was her. I had to end this and why I kept delaying was beyond my usual. Now that I had a taste of this forbidden fruit I wanted more. I wanted to take her virginity while she screamed in pleasure as she pledged her everlasting love to me. All of the pain I saw when I looked into her eyes, the sadness, and anger was a reflection of mine. Though I knew very little about this divine beauty, I felt we were bonded. As though somehow we were one. I decided in that moment that I would not kill her but I would test my theory. I finished my drink and returned to my bedside to face my great affliction.
