Rosemary-

When I saw Jesiahs fang protruding I knew this was it. My body was full of pleasure having him inside of me. When he sunk his teeth in I felt a burst of lightning in my body and it felt as though my heart exploded when we fell to the ground I blacked out. A vision appeared of us together from our youth running through the fields without a care in the world. The feeling of pure happiness hit me as I heard him calling my name. Then coming back into reality I heard his now deep voice calling my name in panic.

“Rosemary?” He shook me.

“What?” I sat up rubbing my neck. “Am I marked?” I looked at him staring at me confused.

“What is it?!” I snapped

“Your eyes... they’re ice blue...” he said suspiciously.

I ran to the bathroom mirror and stared at myself in shock. “What the fuck happened?”

He walked in and stood behind me. “They’re beautiful and you’re definitely marked.” He said brushing my hair back from my neck. “I’ve always loved your green eyes but you look good with ice blue

too.” He said smiling. Someone’s awfully pleased they left their mark. I turned to face him. His eyes fell on my breast and I could see a hunger for more when a shot of surprise rang threw them.

“What?” I said

“Look! Your symbol is gone.” He turned me to the mirror so I could see my side and there where once my birthmark was was now smooth skin as though it was never there. Wow.

He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head. “Come on, let’s go for a run. My wolf wants to see his mate.”

We headed outside. I too was curious to see if anything about my wolf had changed. When we reached outside I could feel the cool crisp air.

“Jesiah?” I called as he was about to shift.

“I haven’t shifted in a while and I’m a little nervous. It might take a minute. Why don’t you head into the forest and I’ll catch up.”

“Guess it’s a game of hide and seek just like the old days.” He said with a smile and wink. He quickly shifted into his magnificent brown wolf and shot off into the woods.

A comforting feeling ran through me telling me not to be scared. I must be communicating with my wolf. I took a deep breath and could hear my bones breaking as I shifted. Though it wasn’t as painful as the first time it hurt like hell. When I looked down I saw my dark blue black fur shining in the moonlight. I took off faster than I remember.

Feeling the wind in my fur and the branches breaking at my feet, I felt unstoppable. I leaped over cliffs gaining speed running through the edge of the forest into an open field. Suddenly I pick up a scent and before I know it, a great big brown wolf tackles me to the ground. Jesiah. He stalks around me in circles eyeing me and I can see he is in awe. I pounce on him and we wrestle down the hill. We both start shifting back mid roll and when we make it to the bottom I pin him to the ground as we both laugh.

“I can see some things never change Jesiah! I flattened you like a pancake.” I say laughing.

“I always let you win.” He says with a charming grin.

“Thank you.” I say setting a rather serious tone. He knew what my words held. Thank you for never giving up on me and always being my best friend. Thank you for saving me from myself.

Without hesitation he flipped me over, tackling me to the ground and claimed my mouth to his. He made passionate love to me under the moonlight beneath the stars. Confessing our love to one another. When he released himself inside me, he whispered one request to me.

“Rosemary, will you marry me?”

“Yes” I smiled with tears of joy flowing down my cheeks.

Im in love for the first time.
