Chapter 7

------Emma's PoV------

"Hey, we are going to the club on the coming sunday." Bella shouts as I leave the house.

"Okayy." I reply.

I look at my watch one more time as I sit in the car. It's 9.00 a.m., which means I'm late.

I quickly start the engine and drive off. I just hope King won't notice it. He already shouts at me for no reason and this time when he actually got a reason, I don't know what else he will do apart from shouting. 

My phone rings as I drive. I see the name. Baby🖤.

I close my eyes in irritation. What is his problem? Can't he just leave me alone!? I silenced my phone and focused on driving. 

The phone rings again and that's enough to boil my blood.

"What?" I shout as I pick the call.

"Emma, I want to talk. Please at least hear me out once." I hear the same filthy voice. 

"Shut up and don't call me again." I spat before hanging up.

I need to change the name. He's not my baby anymore, he's my ex boyfriend. Ronn.

We dated for one year before he cheated on me, he was laughing at my face with his new girlfriend snaked into his arms and now after six months of our breakup, that dickhead wants a second chance. It's awful that he thinks I'll give him.

I park my car and rush to the Palace, taking my purse with me.

I look around, my servants are already doing their work. I missed our morning greetings which we do before going to work. I hope they did in my absence. 

Everyone greets me as I walk in, I return the same.

"EMMA!" Aliza, out of nowhere, comes in front of me with the biggest smile on her face. I lean back in surprise. 

"We need to talk!" She shouts in excitement. 

"Okay, okay, but first I have to check upon my team." I speak holding her hand.

"Pleaseeee, Em!" Aliza pleads with a puppy face. Did I ever mention it's hard to resist her puppy eyes!?

"But the servants, Ali." I try to make her understand. 

"Don't worry about it, I checked upon them already." I hear Miranda from a distance. 

Ali and I both turn our heads in her direction. Miranda smilingly approaches us with a tray in her hands.

"You're the best." I said with a smile.

"Now, come with me." Aliza says while holding my hand. I nodded and almost started to walk with her.

"Wait, wait. King asked Emma to deliver the breakfast in his room," Miranda says. 

Aliza and I screech at the same time. What is his problem? And why me!?

 I don't understand, these fellows got the invincible speed in them and they need humans to deliver their meals at their rooms!? 

"But w-"

"You have to go now, he doesn't like to wait." Miranda says by handing me over the tray.

This vampire is clearly a mood destroyer. 

"Why does he always interfere at the wrong time?" Aliza exclaimed. 

"I will be in your room in 5." I sigh before saying.

She nods dryly and disappears.

And I walk to his room, I again greet all the servants in my way and throw a knock at the door as I reach.

No response. 

I knock again, this time louder. 

"What?" He shouted. 

What does he mean by what!? Doesn't he want to eat now!? 

 God, please give me patience to handle this vampire.

"Your breakfast, King." I speak with forced politeness in my voice. I wish I could just throw the tray on his face. I truly wish! 

And I can't imagine what things will be thrown on me afterwards. 

The door opens roughly and I see a very angry King standing in front of me with his formals on. His hair is messy but still looks styled!

"Why is my breakfast so late?" He yells and I jump in surprise as I was not paying attention.

Why is his breakfast so late!? Because I was late. 

But let's blame the cooking!

"Because cooking takes time, King." 

My eyes are glued to his facial features, the most attractive thing I find is his cheekbone and sword sharp jawline. And why these creatures got no acne or pimples?

"Place it there and leave." He yells again. And I didn't jump this time. 

I inhale sharply and slide the gate with my butt to make the way. I walk in and place the tray on the side table and turn around to leave.

"ARRANGE THE TRANSLATOR TILL THE EVENING. I NEED TO SHARE THAT FILE TOMORROW." King shouts, I abruptly turn around to see him talking on his phone. He is literally always shouting on everything and everyone.

Translation work! Maybe I can help him.

But why?

Why should I help him? Because he shouts and pushes me every now and then. 

I mentally roll my eyes and walk towards the door. 

'But he saved you from Royal Jack!' So what? I could have saved myself even if he didn't interfere. I'm no ordinary!

'A good deed makes a good vibe.' I'm still saying it's not a good idea. 

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THIS? YOU PEOPLE ARE FUCKING USELESS." He shouts again. 

'The work seems extremely important, that's why he is shouting like this.' 

I huffed before turning around.

"King," I speak.

"What?" He shouts, turning at me. Just look at his behavior! I really want to turn around and leave right now.

"Maybe I can help you with translation. What language is it?" But I ask him for the sake of him saving me earlier. 

He scoffs in irritation. 

"YOU. You will help me?" He says as if I insulted him.

Just look at this guy. Why did I even think about it?

"I-"

"Help yourself first. You don't even know how to walk." He cuts me off while looking away.

Excuse me, you are the one who always pushes me to the ground!

I wanted to shout but the words silenced at my throat. 

"And what can you translate? English to English?" He continues. 

"It's Arabic, out of the children's league." My jaw drops at his words.

I fisted my hand to control the urge of giving him a suplex. You know what, I'm done here. 

I walk out of his room without saying anything. How much ego and arrogance is filled in that creature. 

I storm to the kitchen and drink a glass of cold water. It's unbelievable. He won't die if he takes help. Let him be like this, I hope he would not get any translator! Ever!

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. 

I put my glass in the sink. Then, I walk to Aliza's room.

"Aliza, I'm coming." I speak before going in. And I see her in a short tight pink dress. It looks like a swimming suit though.

I toss my purse on her dressing table and sit on the chair.

"Where are you going?" I ask, narrowing my eyes.

"Steve's parents invited me for dinner." She speaks as she looks in the mirror. 

Steve and Aliza have been dating for the past seven months. They are so into each other. Aliza is always babbling about him, how he surprises her and how he takes care of her. And I'm so happy that she found the man of her dreams.

"He'll be here to pick me up at 7 p.m." She says as she walks to the bed and throws herself on it.

"I can't decide what to wear." She speaks in irritation while looking at the ceiling. She got a whole separate room, not just a room a huge room full of dresses and look what she is saying.

I stand up from the chair and walk to her dressing room. I look around and see so many beautiful dresses, tops, tshirts, leggings of every colour. 'And she chose that swim suit for the dinner!' 

"I've worn almost all of them." I hear her behind me. Worn one time? 

According to the royals, you buy one dress, you put on that dress, you take it off and then that dress will spend the rest of its life alone hanging on irons.

I walk past her dresses. I feel like I'm wandering in a mall, all the dresses are so beautiful and classy. 

I point to a beautiful shiny black skin fit dress, but she shooks her head in a 'no'. I turn around and again start to wander.

 I stop after looking at numerous clothes as a dress catches my attention.

"How about this?" I speak as I take out a beautiful plain blue dress. It ends at the knees and the cloth feels comfortable. This dress will definitely showcase her goddess-like figure.

I look at her to see her reaction and she approaches me with wide eyes.

"How come I didn't notice this." She speaks by taking the dress out of my hand.

"Let's see how it looks on you." I say by going out of the room.

I sit at my previous place and just after five minutes the door opens. 

"Wow!" Left my mouth and I stood up from my seat.

The dress is really made for her, she looks fiery in this. Her flawless fair skin is even more highlighted in that color. 

 She comes to see herself in the mirror and closes her mouth to not let the scream of excitement come out.

"This looks beautiful." She shouts almost deafening me.

"Yeah, and now-" 

The baby laughs in my purse. I sigh and walk to the table.

I take the phone out of my purse only to see that 'baby🖤' is calling me. 

I huff in annoyance and decline the call. 

"So what was I say-" I put my phone back in the purse and face her but I stop speaking as she's giving me a confused look.

"What!?" I ask her. 

"You still haven't changed his name. Are you hiding something from me?" She asks playfully.

"Come on, Ali. I just always forget to change the name. But I'll definitely do it today." I reply.
