LOGINEmma's PoV
"Wait." My huge smile vanishes off.
Noo..!!
I turn around and see my phone in his hand.
'How can you forget your phone?'
I laugh nervously and approach him. I take my phone out of his hand and turn around but he grasps my hand.
'Get ready for the punishment.'
He harshly pulls me to his direction making us inches apart.
I look at him with my wide eyes. My heartbeat immediately gears to the top speed.
I gulp, I hope I'm not looking like a tomato because this proximity is, unknowingly, making me nervous.
"It's the last warning. Next time I won't spare you." He speaks looking directly into my eyes.
I instantly nodded in response, completely aware of what he's talking about.
He leaves my hand and I, in a split second, get out of his personal space. I smoothen my dress for no reason.
He turns his head to his laptop. He looks exhausted, maybe because of the translation work.
Don't worry, I'll do it for you.
Although he looks all dangerous and sadistic, but a tiny part of me just doesn't accept it. Like, he is dangerous and shouts all the time but still he doesn't let the wrong thing happen.
He saved me from Royal Jack, not that I cannot do it, but still… he saw it and he didn't ignore it.
And he saved Miranda and gave her the life she wanted to live. A loving husband, a small child. I'm so happy for her.
But there's one thing I don't understand.
"What? You want me to punish you?" King threw a shaft on my thoughts.
"What!? No. No." I reply.
"THEN LEAVE." He shouts.
Okay, let's just stick with him being an arrogant cocky ass.
I turn around and leave his room.
I move to the hall where everyone already is.
"What did he do?" Miranda asks, approaching me. She looks nervous.
"Nothing." I say with a smile.
I don't know how much time it will take me to complete the translation. I should go back early today.
"Oh thank god. Everyone was so worried for you."
"Miranda, I have to go now. Bella just called me, she is sick." I say to Miranda.
How long her name is. Mi-ran-da. Doesn't she have a nickname?
"Ok. Ok. You go take care of her. I'll see the rest here." She replies.
"B-bye." I speak and she engulfs me into her arms. It's the first time she hugged me. How sweet.
She let me go and I left the Palace.
(~Next morning)
King Xavier's PoV.
I think I need to extend the deadline, I couldn't get my work translated. I can't believe I'm saying this. Xavier Starkborns is saying this.
And that human translator is gone. I'll make sure to put him in dungeons. That's what humans are: sneaking out at the most crucial times.
I sigh and throw my laptop aside.
'Just a glass of hot blood for breakfast.' I said in Miranda's head. How long her name is, Mi-ran-da.
I really want to kick someone's ass right now. Never I'm my 3498 years of life, I postponed the deadline. It's truly an insult for me.
I'll inform King Edward after a quick bath.
I get up from my chair and move to my bedroom. I removed my clothes and went straight into the bathroom.
"Xavier, open the gate." I hear her sweet voice.
"I'm under the shower, angel." I reply, a smile creeps on my face.
"I made something for you." She exclaims.
How sweet she is, my little doll.
"I know, I can smell it." I speak as I turn off the shower.
I wrap a towel around my waist and move out. I am welcomed with a bright smile on her face and a chocolate cake in her hands.
"Taste it and tell me how this is." She says.
I, with a lightning speed, placed the cake on the bed and sat beside it with her on my lap.
I cut a slice of it and carried it towards her mouth. Her body tenses up.
What's happening? Is she alright?
"First you, baby." She says by turning my hand towards my mouth.
I smile before eating all of it. Ah, it's tasty.
"You like it?" She asks, looking extra nervous. How cute she looks when she's nervous.
Just as I'm about to say yes, I feel my body heating up. It's like I'm burning from the core. I look at her, she's smiling differently.
I feel my head getting dizzy and a piercing pain in my heart.
"Was something in the cake?" I ask, despite the fact that speaking anything was making me choke.
"Oh, don't worry." She says, carsening my right cheek.
Even after two hundred years, I still can't get her out of mind. I sigh in defeat.
I move out of the bathroom and wear my casuals.
My gaze moves to the side table, my breakfast isn't here yet. These servants are really getting lenient, and all thanks to that human.
I think leaving her yesterday was a mistake, she really needs a lesson. Just one more mistake and she would get what she deserves.
Isn't she a little too much, I never thought that she would come up defending them. No one has ever done that.
But my blood?!
'MY BREAKFAST?' I shout in Miranda's head.
'King, Emma has taken it to your study room.' I hear her back.
I start to walk to my room. As I'm getting nearer to it, the smell of her blood is getting stronger. One thing I don't understand, why her blood smells so different from the others? So much different, so much tempting.
'She's all different.' Yeah, she's a crazy girl.
I open the gate only to see her doing something on my laptop.
Wait, What!?
"What are you doing?" I ask in surprise.
"I'm sharing the translated file." She says and immediately looks above as if she didn't want to say it.
"WHAT?" I shout before, in a blink of an eye, taking my laptop out of her hands.
I look down at the laptop, the file is shared.
The translated file is shared!?
