LOGINShe walked with Eleanor slowly, even if she was a Witch she was still scared of everyone, Eleanor stood in the hall, the same hall they had dinner in last night, but there were not tables in it anymore, or perhaps it was a change hall, this school was actually huge. The whole school seemed creepy to her.
''What is this ceremony for?'' Scarlet asked her.
''For taking the Oath, it's held every year for all of the freshman students.''
''They won't let us go home, ever?'' she asked her, and Eleanor, shook her head.
''Of course for the summer break.''
''They'll let us go home? But what if we spill their secret?''
''That's why you are going to take the oath. And once you settle in, believe me you'll love this school, and you won't want to spill the secret.'' she replied, and then they reached a group of girls, they were older than her, Eleanor was also a senior.
They started talking and Scarlet looked around, a lot of students were gathered in the hall. A bell rang and everyone stopped talking.
''Welcome to the Sacred Legacy.'' that old man said.
''What's his name?'' She asked pointing at that old man.
''Professor Mason or King Mason, he prefers being called professor.'' Eleanor said.
''So all the freshman might step up to the front.'' he said out lous and everyone did, Scarlet too. When she stood forward she saw him looking at her, when their eyes met, an expression crossed his face, and he looked away.
''Raise your left hand, and place your right one on your heart.'' a woman announced everyone did.
''I take oath that..'' Professor Mason started and everyone followed him.
''I take the oath that, I hereby would never betray this enshrined place of my forefathers, I hereby accept it to my heart and soul, I am, at all the times ready to sacrifice my body and soul for this solemn kingdom, I hereby promise that I'll love this land forever, I'll always be faithful to Sacred Legacy. And I'll do whatever is best for my land.''
He stopped and raised his glass, ''To Sacred Legacy.'' this time when he looked at Scarlet he smiled.
....
After breakfast they were ushered to their rooms, with a form to fill, it had two columns, up on front, and the whole page was empty other than that, she wrote her name on the above column, the second column was Clan, and her hands trembled while writing Witch in that column, but as soon as she wrote it, the whole page magically was filled with questions.
Wow, she thought.
The new column was named, 'select two major, and three minors.' In the list there were strange names, Flying tuto, Defense spells, Time spells, Prophecy Spells, Scorpion Magic, Ceremonical Magic, Folk Magic, Witchcraft, White Magic and Dark magic, she looked at them quizically, she knew about none of them so how was she supposed to select.
She opened the door to her room and went out, a girl was sitting on the stairs, Scarlet saw her and thought about asking her what she should opt for, The girl looked stressed out.
''Hey.'' Scarlet said trying to smile.
''Hey..'' the girl said, smiling back.
''It's Scarlet.'' she said reaching out for her hand, she shook it.
''Elizebeth.''
''Can you help me fill my form, am just new to this all.'' Elizebeth nodded, and she handed it to her.
''My parents, my mom was a witch, I thought I'd be too, but am a wolfblood, '' she stopped and sighed, ''But I can probably help you with this.'' Scarlet smiled. And she started ticking off the list.
''Do you think you can perform Ceremonical magic?'' she asked her, and Scarlet shrugged, what else could she do.
''You interested in Dark magic?'' she asked her, and at that Scarlet knew, she had to stay away from anything dark, so she shook her head. Elizebeth nodded.
''Here.'' she said, and handed it back to Scarlet.
She had ticked off Ceremonical Magic and Witchcraft, on majors, and minors included, Time Spells, Scorpian Magic and Defence Spells. Scarlet gave her a big smile in return.
''You seem kinda off.'' she said to Elizebeth and she nodded.
''Yeah I am, i just don't like Wolfblood, it seems like it's not for me.''
''But that book of this school says, you are in the Clan which is indeed best for you.''
''Yeah, but my parents they are Witch and Fireblood, it's just I don't think I'll fit in, I just can't get myself to like it...'' she replied, she seemed like she would cry.
''You can't say you like something, until you haven't tried it.'' Scarlet said smiling. She smiled back.
And tomorrow, she'll probably know if being a Witch, was meant for her.
She walked with Eleanor slowly, even if she was a Witch she was still scared of everyone, Eleanor stood in the hall, the same hall they had dinner in last night, but there were not tables in it anymore, or perhaps it was a change hall, this school was actually huge. The whole school seemed creepy to her.''What is this ceremony for?'' Scarlet asked her.
''That you are a witch.'' the girl said, pointing at her.''I am what?'' she asked in a whisper, her heart was beating too fast now, and her head was spinning, it had to be a nightmare, she thought.''You are a witch dumb.'' the other girl said.
When she opened her eyes, she was in a dark room, with white curtains all over the windows, tied in the end, it was a long room, with so many single beds in it, some people were laying there, there eyes closed, but Scarlet couldn't help but think where she was, her head was pounding, and it took her a minute or so to finally register, what just had happened, and she felt a sob in her throat, but she didn't made any noise, afraid someone would wake up, but perhaps, the guys and girls laying there, were also victims, just like her.
Her Mom called her downstairs, and Scarlet felt her heart speeding up, she clenched her fists on the sheets, cause she was scared, scared that if she went downstairs and saw that letter of rejection, she'd fall apart, and that was the least thing she wanted to do in front of her Mother, after all her mother had seen in life, breaking in front of her felt like, stabbing her own heart. Her Mom called again, and she knew she had to go, of course they won't reject her.She has worked hard for that college, she had to, she had to g
