Dance class

I have been in the the restroom for a while now. I thought about getting out and going to my class which probably started some time ago, but I could not bring myself to do it. Especially because I embarrassed myself by running like that. The good thing though is that there were not many people in the hall.

All of a sudden I heard someone knocking on the door I was leaning on.

Someone probably told her that I was here.

"Is anyone other then you there?" I asked quietly.

"No, it's just me."she answered.

I opened the door to see Belle standing by the door with a worried look on her face.

"Hey, Camilla told me that she saw you running in here. Is everything okay?"

I walked over to the mirror. "No. Immediately I started walking to my class I saw the GGGs ---" She cut me off.

"Did they do or say anything to you?" she asked curiously, she sounded ready to go and tear their heads apart.

"No, but has I was walking I bumped into Fredirico."

"You bumped into Freddy?"

"Yeah, and they saw that. What if they think I did that on purpose? What if they think I know him? What if they know that we are in the same Frendzation program?" I said all in one breath.

"Lia just calm down. You are overthinking all of this."

"Belle, you cannot tell me that you do not know how the GGGs are like, just even standing next to a guy they like is a crime."

"Calm down, calm down." she said try to soothe me. "There is no need for you to panic, it was just all a coincidence, just try to avoid them and apologize to Freddy for bumping into him and then running away from him like that."

"But that's what I've been doing all day -- trying to avoid them, and it's not working out. Maybe I should just go home."

"No, you are not going anywhere. If you continue having this kind of fear you may not be able to finish school."she said in an authoritative tone."The worst Kylie and the rest of her crew can do to you is laugh at you like stupid people, with time they'll stop and forget about everything that happened. Just be free Lia, you can't live in fear because of them." She was right I could not be living in fear because of them.

I sighed." Do you really think that Fredirico thinks I was running away from him?"

"Definitely. Just think about it -- immediately you bumped into him, you looked at him and ran away. He's probably going to think that you were nervous or that he looked like some kind of monster."

Oh no,I hope I did not make him feel bad because of my actions. The only reason I ran was because I did not want Kylie to think that I was involving myself in a conversation with him after what she did to me last week.

Belle spoke," Don't worry, you'll apologize when he comes over to your house this afternoon."

"Yeah, I guess. By the way what are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in class."

She laughed a little, "It's break time."

What?

How long was here?

" You mean I missed a whole lesson?" I asked astonished.

"Yeah, you've been here for a really long time. I was going to come get you immediately I was told you were here but you know Mr. Ray doesn't like anyone living class while he's teaching."

"I'm going to get into trouble with miss Hart when she finds out that I missed class."

How much trouble could I possibly get into in one day?

" I heard that she was on sick leave. Now please stop worrying and let's go and have some food, I'm starving."

"On one condition."

"What?"

"If we are eating in the classroom, I'm not going anywhere near that cafeteria."

"Fine. But you can be unbelievable sometimes Lia." She said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the restroom.

The remaining hours of school, I was very keen not to bump into anyone or find myself anywhere near Kylie, and this time I succeeded.

After school was out I borrowed some novels and textbooks from the library. Belle was in her car waiting for me.

Something was off.

Today was cheerleading practice. Why wasn't she attending it today?

Did Kylie kick her out or something? I'll ask her when I get to the car. I thought to myself.

I raced down the stairs and started walking down the hall. As I walked down it, I heard some sounds coming from a classroom, it was coming from down the hall. I continued walking. The noise was coming from a huge classroom, that had not been in use for a long time.

"One two three four, move to the right, move to the left." I heard a voice say.

That sounded like Kylie's voice.

I finally reached the class and looked through it's window.

I saw Kylie and about ten other people inside. They were dancing. I'm guessing that the dance class started today.

So this was why there was no cheerleading practice today.

I'm sure Belle did not want to tell me because she did not want me to feel bad. But right now, I felt so bad. I still really wanted to be part of it but I guess there was no chance of that happening.

Dancing is one thing I loved. Even though I'm not as good at it as Belle says, I was still passionate about it. Seeing people doing it and me not able to be a part of it made me feel sad.

I carried on walking. I did not want Belle to ask me any questions so I did not show any signs of sadness on my face. Also as much as I felt bad that I was not part of the dance class, I did not want it to bother me, so I just shook the thoughts away and smiled.

"Finally you are here, I've been waiting for you."Belle said as I opened the passenger car door."Do you want to Freddy to arrive at your house before we do?" she asked.

"You really seem to be more interested in this program than I am." I said as I put my seat belt on.

"That's because I am. I want to see where this goes."she said with a wide smile on her face.

I rolled my eyes at her. She started the engine.

Belle dropped me home and drove to her house to change out of her school uniform. I asked her why she could not just come to my house like that but she said she did not want Fredirico to see her in school uniform outside school.

Belle could be unbelievable sometimes.
