What was he doing here?

I was beginning to think that my eyes were deceiving me or something but when I heard Belle mutter his name then I knew that I was not dreaming or having a nightmare.

He looked up from his phone and looked at me.

"Hey" he greeted slightly squinting his eyes as if trying to recognize me.

I just stood there frozen. I was nervous, not because the famous Federico was standing by my door step but because he is the reason why I got in trouble with Kylie and I did not want any relation with him after that.

Ohh no.

He was definitely not part of this program, right?

I stood there for a while just staring at him, a million thoughts ongoing in my head. Finally, I felt someone grab hold of my arm. "Hi. Umm, please excuse us for a minute, make yourself feel at home."Belle said as she walked me to a corner so Fredirico could not see us.

Belle turned to face me when we were in the corner.." Please do not freak out." she said.

"I am freaking out! " I assured her.

"Just calm down okay. Do you know how lucky you are?"

"Lucky I am?!" I repeated what she said slightly raising up my voice, " Dont you know that the whole reason why Kylie did that to me was because she thought I was flirting with Fredirico! What is she going to think now? I'm going to tell him to go home." I said as I started walking back towards the lounge, but before I could walk any further Belle abruptly pulled my arm.

" What are you doing? Are you telling me that you want to chase Federico from your house? "she said in disgust.

I could not believe that she was talking like everything was okay. Did she forget how bad I felt when Kylie embarrassed me. And most importantly did she forget that I had no relation to him when Kylie did that to me?

" Look Belle, I don't want any sort of trouble with Kylie so I'm just going to have to ---" Belle cut me off.

"But she doesn't have to know." she stated.

"What do you mean?" I asked her with an arched eyebrow.

"I mean; you got in trouble with Kylie because she actually saw you talking to him but if you guys don't mention that you are Frendzation partners to anyone at all, then she won't know and you'll be safe."

"But Belle I don't know if I --"

"Common Lia , stop being a worry machine. I'll talk to him."

"I really don't know, what if--"

"Please, please please," She begged.

I sighed,"I'm not sure if I can--"

"YESSSS!!! You said yes" she squealed out joyfully as she pulled my arm back to the lounge.

What! I did not even agree.

Has she pulled me to the lounge I saw him using his phone, he was probably not interested in this whole Frendzation thing. We reached the lounge and were standing in front of Fredirico, well, I was slightly behind Belle who was directly in front of him doing the talking.

"Hey Freddy, you probably know me.".

"Yeah, you're a cheerleader right?" he asked as he put his phone in his back pocket.

"Yeah I am, my name's Belle. This my friend Amelia." she said as she stepped back whilst indicating me with her hands. .

He smiled a bit, but was still searching my face trying to recognize me.

Fred's Pov

The cheerleader moved a bit backwards and introduced me to her friend.

I gave her a slight smile. I had to be nice even though I found this whole Frendzation thing pointless, besides this program is the reason I'm still on the football team so I just had to make this work.

The girl standing in front of me did look familiar though, but I just could not remember her face.

AHA!

She's the girl that was dancing by the patio yesterday when some things fell on her. It was kind of hard to recognize her in the kind of clothes she was wearing.

"Oh yeah," I said in realization," I knew I recognized you from somewhere, you are the girl who..." I stopped talking when I saw her adjusting her gasses out of nervousness and looking down with a sad look on her face, I then realized that what I was about to say would only bring back bad memories. Luckily I remembered that I had also seen her at the noticeboard at some point. So I used that instead.

"... the girl who was drooling over my picture at the noticeboard."

She let out a sigh of relief.

"Nooo! I wasn't doing that I was just trying to reach the dance poster." she said a bit helplessly. It was still funny how she tried to convince me.

I chuckled a bit and bit my lip before I brought my hand forward for her to shake, "Hey, I'm Freddy."

She looked a little bit nervous and shocked before turning to her friend and whispering in her ear. "Umm, what is he doing?"

What! Was she scared of shaking me or was it because I bit my lip? Did she really think I was flirting?, I just did that to stop myself from giggling.

"Umm, I'm sorry, did you bring me here to try and socialize with some kind of nun!?" I said to Belle a bit more churlish than I had intended too, referring to her friend's behavior and nunish dressing.

"Oh no, she's not a nun."Belle said before turning to her friend whose name is still unknown to me and said in a low voice, "I told you not to wear this."

"First of all, there is nothing wrong with nuns, "she said looking at Belle but obviously referring to me," then secondly, Belle I told you I wear this in honor of my late grandma every year. "

Ohh.

That's actually pretty nice of her to do. Honor her grandmother by wearing her clothes in rememberance of her

Belle whispered something into her friend's ear that I could not quite decipher then she gave a small smile.

The friend smiled back and nodded in response. I guess Belle apologized for what she had said.

There was quietness for a while before Belle broke the silence." Sooo... How about we get started?"

"Hey, I still don't know your name." I said to the girl.

She gave me a weird look, probably surprised that I did not mock her about her grandmother or something like that.She hesitated a bit before saying "My name is Amelia."

I brought my hand out again to shake her hand but I immediately pulled it back, "Oh I forgot, you don't shake hands," I waved my hand instead. "Nice to meet you." I said.

She giggled.This was the first time I actually saw her smile ever since i met her by the notice board. "Nice to meet you too" she said waving her hand.

"I'm sorry, my friend here is not the social type." Belle joked whilst laughing. Amelia nudged her arm arm playfully.

"Well the introductions have been done, Let's have our seats."

I walked over to a couch, took my seat and took a brief look around her lounge, It wasn't exactly big but it did have that cozy warm feeling which I liked. Which I longed for in my house.

Belle was the only one standing. She seemed like the free-spirited confident type whilst Amelia was the calm, nervous type but she also seems to stand by and stand up for what she believes in, like when she talked about nuns.

"So I spoke to the program authorities and I've been appointed has your coach, meaning I'll be the one to make sure you follow all rules and regulations and make sure you guys actually help each other. So what do you guys think?, should we get started right away? "

"I thought we were just introducing ourselves today, besides I can't I have football practice today.Maybe tomorrow?"

"I can't,I have church tomorrow." Amelia said. That explains where she got all her goody goody behavior.

"Then what about Monday after school?" Belle jumped in.

"Yeah, I think that will be okay." Amelia answered.

"Yeah I guess," I said as I took my phone from pocket. "but know I have to get to football practice." I stood up.

"Ohh, you're going now?" Belle asked

"Yeah, my practice starts in fifteen minutes."

"Oh, okay. Well I guess we'll see you on Monday and we can discuss about the rules of the program." She said.

"Sure." I answered whilst walking towards the door.

"Oh and Freddy please don't tell anyone about this Frendzation thing?" she said. I was now by the door, I turned to face them, "Why would I want to do that?" I asked nonchalantly, not purposely trying to sound mean but I was wondering why they seemed so worried.

"I'm just saying because, I think it would be better you get to know each other first before telling anyone."

"Yeah, see ya." I said before walking out the door.
