The Hybrid Princess

ANNALISE POV 

"AGAIN"

"Come on Annalise, I'm a wolf and I'm tired we need to take a break we have been training whole night".

"Fine nova when the war comes tell your enemy you're tired and see if they care," I said, more like snapped.

NOVA is my wolf, she's my best friend and the only one I can trust, let me tell you what exactly is going on.

On my 13th birthday, I was visited by the moon goddess in a dream, we were sitting in a forest, she was glowing she had the most beautiful blue eyes, flowing white hair, and had the most calming vibe around her that would relax anyone around her. She introduced herself as the moon goddess and said that she needed my help with an important mission to save both the supernatural and humankind. Yea so for a 13th-year old that was a lot to take in. For one I didn't think that the supernatural world was real and that they were living among us.

"What are you talking about the supernatural doesn't exist as far as I know it's stories in a book," I said more liked shouted.

"Anna in every story there is a little truth in them. I do need your help to fight an upcoming war, I'm not sure when it is but I know it's coming, you being a hybrid with Lycan blood can save a lot of people." Wait this moon goddess woman has to be crazy, but then maybe I'm crazy because this is my dream. Sensing my confusion she started to talk again and what she said shocked me the most.

"You dear Anna is half vampire, half werewolf that has a bloodline from the royal Lycan family."

"WHAT,  I think you're mistaken", this woman is sounding a bit crazier now, I mean yea dad and mom was strong but I think it's all the time they spend at the gym, they don't look like some supernatural beings. I'm really starting to feel annoyed and irritated because something still isn't right about the ways she was watching like she wanted to say something but is afraid of how I will react. Gosh, why can't I just wake up and stop this dream.

"No I'm not and I know what your thinking'' she lets out a sigh and then rubbed her hands over her head looking a bit stressed. " Your parents aren't your birth parents, they are your parents' best friends entrusted to take care of you and keep you safe from the supernatural world," she said in a more apologetic tone.

"YOUR LYING" I shouted. Is she for real I don't believe her my parents never treated me bad or even showed me any kind indication that I'm not theirs. Tears started to run down my face, the thought of my parents may not be mine was heartbreaking, but if they weren't, why did my real parents give me away is something wrong with me, am I not lovable I need to find out more there has to be more. 

"I'm not child and I'm sorry but you were to find out eventually, but time is of the essence and we need you to start training immediately. Would you like to know what happen, I can answer any question you may have right now because you won't see me until your next birthday. I will visit every birthday until your 18 to get an update on your training".

"Yes, why didn't my parents want me, and what happened to them?" I said in a low tone looking at the ground letting the tears fall.

"Your parents loved you so much that they put there lives on the line to keep you safe. Your mom was the Vampire Princess and your dad was the Alpha of the Blood Moon Pack. Your dad went to the supernatural convention that would keep peace in the world and while there he meet your mom, even though he had a mate he was drawn to her, their connection was so strong it broke the mate bond, which was surprising to me because that can never happen, only if a special being is needed to help the supernatural and human world. During the summit, your dad found out your mom is to be married to the leader of another vampire coven, he couldn't let that happen so instead he marked her at the summit and took her home".

"Wow, that's a lot to take in, what happened when he got home and what is a mate bond.?" I said somewhat in shock.

"Let me finish Anna and then ask your questions", she said sternly make me bow my head.

"When your dad got home his mate was very upset, she felt the bond break, she screamed at them telling them they will both die and she will make sure they did. Your mother's coven was so displeased by her action, that they would send vampire worriers to try and kidnapped her, and bring her back, but your grandfather being the supporting father he was called a white witch to cast a spell to hide your mom smell and protect her. Your grandfather wasn't happy starting a war with the vampires, but he supported your dad no matter what. After 3 years of being together, your mom was getting sicker by every passing day and that's when they found out she was pregnant with you. The vampire kind was cursed so they couldn't have kids and your dad didn't mind he couldn't have any, he had his nephew and he was ok with that. Your grandfather called back the white witch to come to look at your mom to see if she could help her, that was their last hope since the healer and doctors didn't know what was wrong. After checking your mom, she said that it was black magic that got your mom pregnant and if she doesn't abort the pregnancy she will die giving birth, your mom loved your dad so much she was willing to give her life so he could have a child of his own. Your dad prayed to me so much but I couldn't help, I myself didn't understand what was going on, it was as if someone was blocking my powers, he made her as comfortable as possible while being pregnant, he even reached out to her coven asking for help but no one could help, they never had a vampire pregnant with a wolf worse yet a Lycan bloodline. As time grew closer to your birth, the vampires of your mother coven and the wolves of your father pack came together to protect both of you, as word got out that a powerful being is about to be born. The day your mom went into labor your father was crushed, he knew he was losing the love of his life but tried to stay strong for her and honor her last wish, which was to take care of you and give you the life you deserved. She transferred all her power to you just as she passed away. On your 1st birthday, your father's pack was attacked and your dad died while trying to keep the rogues and other vampires from getting to you. Your mother's coven have had vampires around you protecting you ever since the attack, and your current parents are head worriers of your father's pack, and to answer your other question a mate bond is a special between two wolves it's like soul mates, if you or your mate get hurt the other feels it, just as if anyone of you are unfaithful the other feels the pain. A mate bond is meant to be special it connects two people in way of completing each other".

After hearing everything from the moon goddess my emotions were running high mostly angry, who can be so cruel to take parents away from there only kid, why did this had to happen and why didn't my parents or step-parents didn't say anything. Gosh I was so mad I wanted to smash something, but as the moon goddess touch my shoulder I calmed down immediately. 

"You can speak your mind with me anna I'm here to help you".

"Why didn't my step-parents tell me?" I asked

"They were sworn to keep it a secret until your 18th birthday, you were to join the pack with your grandfather and the rest of the family", she answered and I nodded. 

After thinking it over I had a mission of my own REVENGE and I will have it for my parents, after all they both gave up there life for me. After a few minutes, I turned to the moon goddess and said "I'M IN" she nodded at me.

"First we need to get you your wolf to start getting used to each other, normally werewolves get their wolves at the age of 16-18 years old, but I'm giving yours early, would you like to see her?".I nodded excitingly with a wave of her hand a huge white wolf came out from behind a tree. 

"Her name is NOVA go on touch her, she will be your best friend, your other you, someone who will understand your every emotion so you need to keep your emotion in check at least until your next birthday".

She was so beautiful, she had mesmerizing blue eyes and a small black patch on her belly, looking at the patch the moon goddess smiled at me saying its the color of my fathers' wolf, so a piece of him will always be with us. I cried like a baby that night after taking in everything, after a while, the moon goddess got up and said it was time for her to go but before she left she turn to me and said,'' this must remain a secret between the both of us, don't trust anyone not yet at least, and whether you believe it or not your step-parents do love you like their own trust me I will know" she smiled and with that, she left.
