Annalise POV

    As I began to sleep away I was immediately transported to the forest where I would normally meet with the moon goddess.

"You're here early," she said looking at me with a smile on her face.

"We need to talk, about what has been happening throughout the year and most importantly Kelly's sudden appearance in my life". I said in a somewhat demanding tone, she sighs and stood telling me to follow her. We walked for about 15 mins in total silence, I was panicking thinking I'm about to find out some more crazy news about my family, or maybe something really bad about Kelly. As we reached the clearing we came across a lake. It had small stones right around it, it had the cleanest water I have ever seen, and a lush green tree lining around it. On the shore of the lake, there were wolves just laying there taking in the scenery, I looked at the sight around me in awe, having gathering myself I turned to the moon goddess and studied her face, something was off but I couldn't wait for her to start the conversation so I started it. 

"Why did you bring me here?"  

"I want you to start training with Nova here, so that you can defend yourself against a wolf in human form," she said not looking at me but at the water.

"OK," I said, is that what was bothering her I started to feel uneasy, so I just dive with the questions instead of beating around the bush.

"What's wrong, I can feel and sense something is wrong, I know you're trying to hide something from me but please don't do that, just tell me what's wrong so I can help." After ten minutes she let out a loud sign and turn to me and started talking.

"I sent Kelly to you to help you train faster because I'm losing my powers, I was supposed to pass down to my powers to my granddaughter but she was kidnapped a few nights ago and the people responsible is changing a lot of lives for their own benefit. I have no one at the moment to trust except you because no one knows of you," she said.

Wait, she trusts me that much, but trust me to do what exactly and why would someone kidnapped the moon goddess granddaughter, gosh I need to pry I need to figure out what's going on.

"What do you need me to do? I will help in whatever way I can but you need to tell me what to do". I said with a reassuring smile.

"I need you to go rescue her the day before your sixteen birthday, that's why I told you to train here, I will grant you the power to control the wind for this birthday, as I still have the power to do so but you also need help, I want you to go look for a guy name John, he's was your father beta and together with Kelly, you will be unbeatable but always remember fight for the right reasons, now time to shift, wake up and go to the woods I will meet you there," she said 

I woke up got changed and snuck out, as I was walking to meet the moon goddess my mind started to wonder. I can't shift now my head isn't in the right place, first I have to find this John guy to help, me second I have the power to control the wind (super excited about that), and lastly, how am I to do these things and keep up the life I have with my parents. I let out a loud sigh and looked around until I saw the moon goddess.

Shifting was hard it was painful as hell, but after seeing Nova all I could focus on was the feeling of being free and powerful. After running for a while we shifted back, the moon goddess told me where to find John and to keep my identity a secret until she said otherwise. I headed home took a shower and organized for school.

As I got to school, I told Kelly everything and asked if she can help me find John, she said yes because she knew how important it is. After a week Kelly and I had all the information we needed on John, he was the owner of a gym and fight club, it was perfect all we need to do was formulated a plan to get my parents to agree for me to join the self-defenses class. That evening Kelly and I came home and decided to talk to my parents one time.

"Mom, Dad I need to ask you for something," I said feeling a bit scared they will question me about my sudden change and interest in fighting.

"Sure anna what's up," my mom said stopping what she was doing to look at me. Dad was still on his computer just listening.

"I want to join the self-defense classes Kelly is taking, It is in a gym 15 mins from here," I said. Kelly was looking at me with a 'you got this face'.

"Why do need----" dad started but was short cut by mom.

"Sure, you can we will sign up tomorrow," mom said and all our heads turn to her looking at her like she had something on her face.

"THANK YOU," I shouted hugging her. Dad, however, had an unreadable expression on his face, mom just said she will deal with him.

The meeting with John was a weird one he was a tall, muscular man with blond hair and green eyes with a kind of army look to him, I knew they all knew each other but didn't say anything. My training was every day in the evening. It went on like that for the rest of the year until my next birthday, I was still training with nova only for two hours because, I didn't know I would have been so tired after training with John. School was good I kept my grades up to ensure that training wasn't affecting my grades, Kelly always kept me in check with food, parents, training and even reminding me sometimes that I was a teenager and need to be normal sometimes.

On my 15th birthday, I was excused from training to have a birthday dinner with everyone, I didn't have friends so my parents just invited John and Kelly. After dinner, everyone left and I headed to bed, I knew I was running late to meet the moon goddess, as soon as I closed my eyes I was in the forest again next to her.

"I'm so sorry I'm late" I apologized 

"It's ok we have to be quick anyhow, I'm here to let you know that the powers your mom gave you will be arising soon, so you will need help from a vampire to keep your blood lust down. I really can't help with that but during the coming year you will need to tell John the truth, so he can help with everything you need," she said before quickly vanishing. she didn't even wait for an update on training she just left. Strange.....

After that night I trained harder than normal, it was around Christmas the moon goddess appeared while training with nova, and gave us the ability to move stuff with our minds, and told us to tell John everything the next day. We were excited both Nova and I hate lying to people. We left home and headed toward the gym, we normally would run to the gym as a warm-up, as we got closer nova started coming forward.

"Vampire",

"What!!! where?"

"At the gym hurry Anna, John might be in trouble", my heart started to beat fast thinking

"Nova let's shift now",

"OK",

As we got to the gym the sight was horrible, five vampires were beating John in his wolf form. I jumped and pushed the two vampires who were holding John's head down and ripped their heads off, the rest got of John and started circling me as I stood over John wolf in a protective stance, then all three came at once and that's when something weird happened, I was surrounded by more vampires but they were protecting us from the attackers.

After the fight, the one that looks like the leader looked at me as asked me to shift, and put a huge T-shirt in front of me. After shifting I put on the T-shirt and looked at John, who was shocked to see that I had my wolf.

"Anna" was all he said before he blacked out.

"Thank you for your help but I need to take care of John," I said not taking my eyes of the vampires in front of me.

"He's fine, just tired from all the fighting we need to talk Princess Anna". The leader guy said. Of course, I almost forgot about that, then it clicked to me, these are the guys from my mom's coven. Just my luck I need a vampire to help me and look one just showed up.

"OK let's go inside the gym," I said

As we got inside, the leader guy and I sat in Johns office while the other cleaned Johns injuries. He was looking at me with a puzzled look in his eye and it was irritating the hell out of me.

"Could you please stop looking at me like that?" I said in an annoyed tone.

"Aren't you scared?" He asked 

"Nope," I said popping the P. Looking at him he was different from dad and John, he was tall and muscular but his eyes were kind of yellowish, and his skin was pale almost white, this man needs a tan I laughed. Shaking my head I decided to question the vampire a little.

"Sooo who are you? what do you want? why are you here? why did you help us? and have you ever heard of tanning?" I said in one go. The vampire in front of me just started laughing hard, like seriously I didn't say anything that funny is he mental.

"OK, so you are seriously like your mother," he said and continued when he noticed my puzzled face.

"I'm your uncle, my name is Kylen, I'm your mom's older brother, and we were always here looking after you, we want to train you because you're going on some stupid crazy mission and you will need help," he said in one go. Shit, how did he know about that, I haven't told anyone besides Kelly. Before I can even reply the office door burst open and a very angry John stood there.

"Annalise you have some explaining to do"
