10. The Past

After the rigorous dance practice, I reached my room dead tired. I rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower and hastily grabbed the clothes which came in my hand. I was wearing green shorts with blue jumpers. I didn't care at that minute even if I looked like a donkey as I was so tired and I just needed my bed. As soon as I went to sleep I dozed off.

The next day in the morning I got up still tired. My body was aching like hell. I thought maybe I can get a day off today. Let me talk to Sam. But Sam will take it as a stupid excuse. Maybe Let me have a word with Amy. Thinking this I went to the bathroom and took a warm shower and changed into comfortable track pant and a tank top. I moved toward Amy's chamber.

Amy was sitting on a chair beside the window looking outside.

I knocked on the door.

Amy: "Come in"

I went into her room.

Amy: "Hey Casie. Good morning. You came early in the morning to my room? Is everything ok?"

Casie: "Hi Amy. Morning. Actually, due to yesterday's rigorous practice, I am having terrible pain today. So I was wondering if I can have a day off today?'

Amy: "I understand...Sam can be really tough with training sometimes. But we have to decode your special power and work on getting your wings. So I won't be able to give you a total day off but can arrange for a relaxing spa time for you to get over tiredness. Will that be ok?"

Casie: "Of course. That will be great. Spa time is one of my favorite thing to do"

At the spa:

Amy: "Casie, I hope you are getting adjusted here."

Caise: "Yes. however, all these things are still new for me. Like I never knew fairies exist. In the town the other day in Eva's boutique, I met a fairy... Her name was Carol. But she was nothing like a fairy in fairy tales."

Amy: "Carol.The princess fairy...Yeah, she is a spoilt brat if I have to say but she is quite helpful when we actually need help. Her attitude is quite arrogant but she is pretty well with her work."

Casie: "Do you know Carol? The other day she was talking really mean things to Sam. Do you know about them?"

Amy: "Do you mean if I know they were dating?"

Casie: "Yeah. So what happened between them? Why did they break up?"

Amy: "Well Casie you have to ask Sam about this. It's not my place to say about his relationship."

Casie: "I understand... So Amy, The Other day you mentioned about your...mmmm..mom?"

Amy(sighs); "I literally hate her Casie. She used my dad."

Casie: "Are you ok. You don't want to talk about it if you are not uncomfortable. I just wanted to let you know that I am there for you as a friend."

Amy: "It's fine Casie. I am ok. You are the first person in this kingdom with whom I am so comfortable and like to open up. My mother is a wicked woman. When she was in heaven with my dad she was different. She was the sweetest person you know. She had many friends. everyone liked her. That's when my dad fell in love with her. When she came here after she was declared queen of the kingdom, a sense of pride came into her. She started intervening in every decision my father takes. She is an attention seeker. She was pregnant Casie before I was born but she didn't want a child back then and she decided to get rid of it and when my father came to know they had a big quarrel and she manipulated my father into thinking he is the root cause for her behavior. She never understood my father. She was with him as he was the king. Once she went outside and came in contact with "Mason" who was a demon prince. she started a secret affair with Mason under my father's nose. My father was shattered when he came to know about her affair and asked her to leave. She left us and joined the demons and became queen of dark angels."

Casie:" So is she still with Mason?"

Amy: "No. Once she became queen of the dark angel she killed Mason. She didn't want to share her ruling power."

Casie: "Omg that's so cruel."

Amy: " It is.Anyways time to bathe now. See you later."

Casie: "Cya"

So Sam was really in a relationship with Carol I wonder what happened between them. Of course, I know no one can handle Carol and considering Sam's nature how he spent time with Carol .  

 Casie wondered. 

"I will ask him someday".Casie spoke to herself.

Casie came back into her room.

Sam: "So few days and you are skipping the lesson..huh?"

Casie: "Sam what are you doing here?"

Sam: "Well last time I checked I was your mentor who is supposed to train you."

Casie: "Your stupid dance practice made me tired. I cant do practice today"

Sam: "Well I always knew you are a clumsy one. Now move your lazy butt. We will be training on music today. So you will have a relaxing session."

Casie: "Ok. I guess"

Sam's POV

I saw her first time on earth when I was asked to pick up her soul. I landed on the earth near a valley and saw her lifeless body in a lovely ball gown. Damn, she was looking so beautiful. I guess she might be going to a school dance. I picked her up her soul and carried her in my arms and started my journey towards Angelina. There was something about this girl. I was not able to take my eyes off her. she was looking so innocent, calm, and hot. Yeah, that was my first impression - she is hot. I also felt like taking special care of her for some unknown reason. I wanted to know her better. When we came to Angelina the next day she came down in a common area dressed in a white top and baby pink skirt. she was looking like a greek goddess, so cute and pretty. She was so curious to know about this world. I could see sadness and pain in her eyes from death but she was quite optimistic about her new life. I really loved her attitude. when Amy told me that I will be her mentor my heart was dancing and singing merrily. This is what I wanted to spend time with her. I noticed she is smart and intelligent though a bit clumsy and kiddish. But that's what I love about her. Her clumsiness and innocence. she is not like one of the plastic girls which I have seen in my college. Being a football player I always have quite a good reputation amongst girls especially cheerleaders who used to behave so sweet with me but behind my back I know they are always backbiting and making fun of others. But with Casie this is different. She is so sweet and pure. She is an angel with a golden heart and a little imperfection and I would like to make her my "Imperfect Angel".
