8. Love & Jealousy

After getting changed into dry clothes, I rushed towards Sam's room.I knocked on his room.

Sam: "Please come in"

I went inside his room.

Sam: "Since when do you knock kiddo"

Casie: "Since the time you told me heard of knocking and asked me did I enjoy the view."

Sam came close to me and I stepped back till I reach the wall. Sam was standing close to me without leaving any gap between us. He whispered in my ears "I know you enjoyed the view. I make you crazy. I know you find me hot. I have seen you checking me out" He winked.

I slightly pushed him "You wish"

We heard an alarm noise "You have 5 minutes to start your training schedule" stupid alarm

Sam stepped back and asked "So ready for training day 2? Today I will take you out of the kingdom and we will explore the town"

Casie: "Sam you don't have to take me on a date?" I blushed

Sam: "Kiddo we are going out for training? But looks like you want me to take you on a date?"

Casie: "That's not what I meant." I said shyly

Sam; "That's exactly what you mean." He smiled.

Sam: "Today we will go out and I will give you a few situations and you have to act and help me. Also, we will help you figure out your special power?"

Casie: "What special power?"

Sam: "Each angel has a special unique power which distinguishes it from others."

Casie: "Really? What is yours?"

Sam: "I can read other's minds".

Casie: 'Big deal. I can also read other humans' minds."

Sam: "I mean other magical mind kiddo"

I was shocked. So all this while he knew that I am drooling over him. I felt embarrassed and betrayed.

Casie:" Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

Sam: "Come on. I wouldn't have missed the chance of a beautiful girl wooing over me." He winked

So he knew all this while. "Let's start with training. "I changed the topic.

We went outside the kingdom. "Are we going to walk all the way?" I asked.

Sam grabbed me by the waist. I put my hand on his broad chest and then at an instant we started flying.

This boy's spontaneous actions are making me crazy.

Casie; "Wow this is amazing. Everything down looks so beautiful and a scene from heights."

Sam smiled.

Casie: "So where are we going?"

Sam: "To a friend's boutique. all angels love to dress up stylish and smart. we have a few boutiques where you are supposed to help today. You will suggest the dress for the customer angels and help them with the trial."

Casie: "I am so excited about the thought of new outfits. I wish I would have been on the customer end and not at the designer end."

Sam: "This is your task for today so stop complaining."

We landed a few steps away from the shops. The market was a very lush green high street kind of market. All shops have amazing interior, glass cubicles.

We came in front of a shop titled "Angelina Fashions"

I entered and I saw in front of me, Eva.

Sam; "Hey Eva. What's up?"

Eva: "Hey Sam. What are you doing here? Have you come shopping with Casie?" Eva asked in a teasing manner

Sam: "Umm... Eva. Actually, I have bought Casie here for your help. The other day you discussed that you need someone who can help you in the boutique." He told shyly

"Hey, Sammy boy. Is that you?" I heard another voice. I saw a girl around my age coming from inside the room. She has fair skin. layered medium hair, brown eyes.

Sam: "Casie this is Claire...ummm...she is Eva's close friend."

Eva: "Claire is my girlfriend."

Casie(Staring at Sam): "I didn't know angels have girlfriends and boyfriends. I thought its only pure love"

Eva; "Of course we have pure love but that doesn't mean we don't date and have girlfriends and boyfriend".

Sam: "Eva can we start with Casie's training?"

Eva: "Oh right. I am so happy Casie you decided to help me. I will show you around."

Sam: "Kiddo can I talk to you in private?" Sam asked shyly

I followed Sam outside the boutique.

Sam: "Casie, Eva will guide you today. I don't know much about girl's dress and I don't want to feel awkward. I want to give privacy to Eva and Claire"

Casie: "Sam I will not be the third wheel here. You are not leaving me alone here. You are my mentor."

Sam: "Alright Kiddo. I will stay around. Looks like I don't have much choice."

Casie(flirting tone): "No you don't. You are stuck with me here."

Sam(Seductively): "Casie... I would also like to buy you an outfit. Can I choose you one?"

Casie: "You want to gift me an outfit? I can't accept such a gift, Sam."

Sam: "Please. I insist."

Casie: "Ok." I blushed slightly

Sam: "Ok so let's get started and by the way you should thank me that I chose this place for you and not any food joint," He said in a teasing manner.

Casie:'You know I would have to kill you if you have done anything like that".

He laughed

"Hey, Casie. Are you ready? We will have a customer coming shortly" suddenly I heard Eva's sound

I went inside and with a cheerful smile, I replied "I am born ready"

Eva: "I like your confidence and cheerfulness. Let's get started."

Next few hours Eva showed me all the different sections of different types of outfits. I learned that Claire is the main designer who sketches the design and Eva helps her with stitching and trial. They are the perfect team personally and professionally. Eva informed me that we need to put the fall collection on display, take out the spring collection away and place it neatly in boxes and have to sort the best dresses.

I sorted all the latest designed outfits and place them on mannequins on display.

Claire is a cool, silent kind of girl whereas Eva is more outspoken and outgoing.

Our first customer has arrived.

Customer 1: "Hi I am Cristy and this is my friend Sarah. We would like to have a look at the trending seasonal outfits."

I glanced at her. They didn't have wings. However, they had green eyes. sharp nose and red-colored lips.

Sarah: "Hey girl. You don't have wings. What are you? Are you a witch like us? But your eyes are hazel and lips are pink. Are you a catgirl? My kitty will love to meet you" She asked me bluntly

Casie; "I am Ummm a new angel so I haven't got wings. What about you?"

Sarah: "We are witches."

Casie: "Wow I thought witches mostly wear gowns and hats and travel on the broom".

Both Sarah and Cristy started laughing

Cristy; "We are modern witches girl. We are super stylish and like to keep with the trend. We wear the seasonal trending outfits and we don't travel on just broom. We have high tech flying equipment," she said proudly pointing towards a bicycle attached to a broomstick with a cute little basket and a black cat in it, kept outside.

Casie:" You mean bike"

Cristy:" bike...What's that? It's our modern vehicle."

Casie: "Never mind I will show you the latest collection."

Within minutes I showed them our fall latest collection and both of them were so delighted to see the collection and tried various dresses and finally selected some really pretty outfits. I then folded neatly the remaining outfits.

Eva: "So Casie. Were you studying for a dress designer?"

Casie: "Actually I was in high school so I haven't figured out what I needed to do further."

Eva: "Oh ok. but you are good with the dress selection. You can even work full time here if you got bored being a guardian angel and help in secret mission".

Casie: "Really? Thank you so much. I will definitely remember this."

Meanwhile, someone came into the boutique. It's a girl with pink hair, stocking, and a white skirt and a pink top. She is not an angel as her wings were different. Nor is she a witch. Her eyes are purple.

Girl; "Hey Eva how are you?"

Eva: "Hey Carol. How are you love? Long time no see."

I asked Sam via mind communication "Sam who is she? Moreover, what is she?"

Sam:" She is the princess of fairyland. She is a fairy"

Casie: "A fairy. wow. she looks fabulous."

Carol: "Hey Sam. how are you, babe? Long time no see. You look hotter than before."

Is she calling Sam Babe? Is she his ex? Is she flirting with him? And why he is standing mute.

Sam: "What you want Carol?"

Carol: "Oh Sam. Where are your manners? Is it a way to greet your girlfriend?"

Sam: "You mean ex-girlfriend"

Carol: "Whatever .my current boyfriend is much hotter than you and he doesn't have these big stupid wings"

Carol(to Eva): "Love can you please send the latest collection to the palace. I will try and chose some. The trial room here is good but it's a bit tacky. Not according to my taste you see."

Damn, she is one of the plastic mean girls.

Eva: "Ummm..sure Carol I will send them"

Carol; "Thanks love and bye babe"

She winked and went.

Sam: "God Eva why do you allow her. She always insults you."

Eva: "Sam they are fairies and she is a fairy princess. We need them."

Casie: "Sam why she said she is your ex?"

Sam: "Because she is and I don't want to talk about her"

Casie; "Oh ok"

Sam: "Eva what's your opinion on Casie regarding her work?"

Eva: "Casie is really good Sam and She is really friendly with strangers and gel up easily. I wish I can hire her full time soon."

Sam: "It's good to hear. Now Eva I would like you to show me outfits for Angels nights"

Eva: "Oh I totally forgot about it. It's oncoming full moon night. Right?

Sam; "Yup"

Casie: "Guys what is angel nights?"

Eva: "It's the annual event in the kingdom where all angels gather and dance all night and all are dressed at their best. "

Casie: "Wow. Is there any special dance form?'

Sam; "Yes there is and You will get trained for it tomorrow. Now let's have a look at the outfits."

Casie: "Sam this is girls boutique. Why you need a girl outfit?"

Sam: "For you"

Casie: "Sam you don't have to buy me an outfit I told you."

Sam: "Ok kiddo. What are you going to wear then?'

Casie: "Umm...I will figure out something."

Eva: "Sam is right Casie. You are new. All eyes will be on you. You need to look stunning"

Casie: "Umm.ok..."

Sam chooses 3 outfits for me and asked me for my choice.

The first outfit is a shimmery silver V neck gown. The details on it are so classy.

The second outfit is a body-skimming loose blouson with a peplum and a floor-length straight skirt. This was quite a smart style.

The third outfit is an evening gown The baby teal-blue pastel print is so sweet and so feminine

Well, I loved the Shimmery silver V neck gown.

Sam: "Perfect choice. You will look absolutely gorgeous in it...I mean it will look good at you" He coughed.

We took the dress and came to the kingdom.

Casie: "Sam when will we go to earth for the next test?"

Sam: "After 2 days. Tomorrow will be a dance lesson for you. Now go to your room and take ample rest. You will need a lot of energy tomorrow."

Casie: "Ok. Night Sam"

Sam: "Good night Kiddo."
