The Feast Of Aswen

2020-09-07 23:00:28It has been a year since the building of the castle started, the small village that stood at that location is no longer exist, replaced with the now small town.
Hearing about the place offering many facilities and the good flow of trade, many people kept coming to the settlement to reside at the village.
The day is ending and the men working are tired, a messenger came to visit Arden. Giving a letter containing an invitation to a feast at the duke's castle.
Seeing this letter, Arden began having the thought of the thing has happened in the past, because it's already 1 and a half year they didn't meet.
The feast is 15 days later and they need to travel from Ailreh to the city of Alran, the one sir Aswick, the duke of Aswen own.
The city of Alran surround the duke's castle at the centre of the city, there is a high chance of tournament being held by the duke.
The journey from the town would presumably take 2 days of time if there is no incident on the way Arden start to pack his thing up and readying up his follower, Valen and Lian will join the journey and they will start their journey next morning.
The next day, Arden is woken up by a servant, he is getting ready, making sure all he and his follower needs is there.
All of them met at the town centre and so, the group of 10 people begin the journey. Arden is happy that he can ride his horse after a long time. He named the horse "Cisco".
The first day of the journey is bad, it was raining heavily in the noon, the sun is blocked by the cloud. The caravan wheels many time is stuck at the muddy land.
The movement of the party is slowed the calculated 2 days journey will need an extra of one 1 day.
The second and the third day is much better than the first, there is no incident happened. Arden's party will reach the city of Alran in afternoon.
It's already noon, the various colours of tents and the city wall can be seen in the distance.
All people are happy knowing the destination is close and they no need to walk anymore.
It has been a tiring journey, they didn't build their tent outside the city like most of the nobles did. But they will stay inside the city with the accommodation provided by sir Aswick.
The reason of this is Arden's party is not too big, only consisting of 10 people. Not like other people with a party exceeding 30 people.
It's already night, the horse is given a place at the stable and the people are given rooms at the bedchamber.
The night is approaching and the people start to sleep, so are Arden. Arden almost sinks in the dream when he remembered to do something, to confess his love to Valen, the beautiful girl he met.
Arden goes to her room, knocked on the door and asked permission to enter, there is no answer from the inside.
Meanwhile, Valen inside the room is losing her mind and is blushing heavily, with all of her effort...
"Eee... Enter" Arden entered the room and sat on the bed. Valen is under the blanked, hiding herself.
"I want to talk to you about something" no response
"i've liked you since a long time ago" with a small voice, Valen answered
"To be honest, I too liked you since a long time ago" they both are blushing heavily at this moment, it's an awkward moment. So Arden exited the room.
He goes to his room and just lies down thinking about what happened and then goes to sleep.
The next morning, Arden wake up and readying himself since he will go to meet his old liege.
Arden wanted to bring his beloved person to Sir Aswick, Valen and introduce her to him.
Arden and Valen go to the duke residence and greeted warmly to the sir Awsick.
"Ahhh, Arden, long time no see, I heard what happened at sir Rakham's city."
"Indeed it has been a long time"
"I see you coming with this beautiful lady, is this your ehem... Wife"
"of course not, I met her at sir Rakham's city, I intentionally wanted to introduce you to the person that has a place in my heart"

Arden and Valen go explore the city till afternoon. Lian doeV the same thing, except he goes to various blacksmiths to learn new things.
Arden met many noble and did many things, 5 days from the feast sir Rakham arrived, 2 days from the feast, sir Valencio arrived.
Time's flow so fast, it's already the day of the feast.
On the first day, there will be a ceremony indicating the starting of the feast, the second till the five will be the tournament day.
The feast day, Arden woke up in the morning and getting ready.
All the noble can bring their partner to the feast, so Arden decided to bring Valen.
All the noble entered the specialized room for the feast and sat down on the table. No one dares to sit at the table where sir, Aswick, Rakham and Valencio sat.
Arden is confused where he is going to sit but sir Aswick called Arden to their table, which Arden sat at the table.
The food served is freshly baked bread, many type of roasted animal, ranging from pig, chicken, turkey and beef, cheese, pottage, wine and many other things.
At the start of the feast, sir Aswick stand up and goes to the stage.
"I'm very grateful you all came to this feast" and then he raised his glass of wine and said "cheers!" many people did the same thing.
