Episode 6 - Thanks Ar...

Arthur’s POV

I knew today would be a great day. I wanted to know more about Ava and the best way to do that was to join those classes. When she came in and started talking to that instructor I could not control myself from staring at her, she was wearing all blue tracksuit which was loose for her but still showed her curves, and her hair was left in its natural way, all straight. 

She was not wearing any makeup again. I got back so that she doesn’t see me and when they all started practicing I came closer to her and when she saw me, first she was shocked and started to notice every single detail about me.

“Like what you see?” I said smirking as I know she was staring at me and she quickly stopped staring and started looking at the dancers. 

“So is it like we are gonna stand here while they show off?” I asked and she started shooting daggers by her eyes, she really got furious by that and then joined the dancers. 

She really was giving me a hard time, she was really perfect on those moves and even in that loose tracksuit, she managed to get everyone’s attention. 

After that song got finished, she came to my way and stopped beside me saying, “Like what you see?” in the same way I said it and I couldn’t control my laugh at that but she brushed passed me and took her water bottle to fill it in so I followed.

“Hey that was a great show,” I said with a smirk.

“Well, that’s actually nothing. May I know why you are here?” She asked me very rudely and to be frank, I felt offended by it but realized that she’s shooing me away so I said politely,  

“Just joined this class because I liked it when I came here the day before yesterday and wanted to thank you for helping us in a way to catch that criminal” I knew if I would try to understand her she is actually not having anyone inside that protective boundary she has made and I have to give extra efforts to show her that I am not here to hurt her.

“Ohh No problem..”, She said giving me a genuine smile so I took this opportunity.

“What’s your name?” I asked her even if I know all about her.

“Ava and yours?”

 “Arthur, Nice to meet you, Ava,” I said giving her my hand and she shook it professionally but that simple touch was enough for me to turn me on, her hands were way too soft and I could just imagine kissing them every fucking moment. 

Behave, boy, Behave.

“What do you do Arthur?” She asked and I started to think of something and said “ I am a bodyguard, the guy tried to kill the person I guard so we were searching for him”  I have to make sure she knows nothing about me and takes me as a normal bodyguard so that I can see through her if she is genuine or not, but to be frank I can see it in her eyes that she is…

 “What about you?” I asked,

“Well professionally I work as a manager in a start-up but I love music so you would find me here all the time on weekends.” Okay, so she is trying to keep this conversation going... That’s good.

“Would you mind telling me about this place?  Well, the receptionist was not here and I don’t feel like asking John because I am a newbie?” I asked her hoping she would say yes.

“You mean you are a noob?” and I started laughing again man, this girl really is something.

“So you are into video games too?” I asked her

“A Girl likes to play,” she said giving me a small wink and nodding to follow me. To be frank, I froze for a moment. God, she is sexy. She told me everything about that place but I was too indulged in her voice.

After that, she had a conversation with the instructor, what was his name? yeah, John, and then she stepped in front taking his place.

“Guys we’ll start the warm-up exercises now so try and repeat my steps”  I went back to a place so that I can see her steps and started doing it well thanks to my dancing skills I am not embarrassed right now. After that John came up announcing about a song they taught everyone yesterday and I could sense him asking her to join him. I can see he likes her, well who’ll not?

They played Bella Ciao- La Casa De Papel and to be frank I love this song and they were doing salsa which fits the song perfectly and I was jealous, the way he held her and the fact that they were close was causing me to lose my temper but I tried my best to keep myself composed and failed miserably.

For a moment she started noticing me and because of that she lost control and fell. I rushed towards her to see if she’s okay and that John was holding her hand now. 

Man, I want to punch him right in his face now. 

I cupped her cheeks and she turned to look at me but I was furious and everyone started laughing at her. I really want to show each and every person here their place right now so that they can never even dare to think about disrespecting her. 

I saw her face becoming red due to the embarrassment and just in a moment she changed it and started laughing, 

What? 

How cute possibly one can be? 

Everyone started to slow down and to be frank, watching her laugh on herself was really cute for me. 

Most girls take it as an insult but she really is different and I started to cool down.

“Are you okay?” I asked her but she was still busy laughing.

“Your ankle, let’s get you to hospital…” John said and she just assured him she’s fine. Well to me it was his fault. He could have held her. 

Idiot.

“Don’t worry I will be fine by tomorrow, and we will have a great recording too but I will head home for now,” Se told him and started walking but I can sense that her ankle is hurting way too much. 

She tried to walk straight but couldn’t so I held her all the time.

“I will probably head home, you can continue...” She told me.

“Yeah, I will take you there myself don’t worry,” I told her. I am not risking her to go on her own in this condition.

“But I have my car and I can drive” I can tell she was confused by my behavior but sweetheart I do care if only you knew…

“I will have one of my friends drive yours, you can come with me,” I said more like a command and she protested but I ignored her so she started moving towards her car and I was getting angry now. 

“I can easily pick you up take you to my car you know?” I said and I know I should have not.

“And I can easily knock you out you know, I hope you remember the condition that criminal was on that day,” She said but only if you knew baby girl, you cannot.

“I remember that and I can assure you that I am not kidnapping you or trying to harm you or flirt with you. Consider this a gesture from a friend nothing more” I said as I needed to assure her that I am not here to cause any harm but she was shocked by my words.

“I never said that we are friends.” I was disappointed now and started to walk to another direction but was stopped by her words...

“But I never said we can never be,” she said giving me a wink and damm that smile...

“Would you mind driving my car? Or it's bad for your reputation?” What? She is teasing me now… and I was shocked that there exists a girl who’s not interested in big brands or anything fancy. 

She gave me her keys and I took her to the passenger seat carefully opened the door for her to sit and after closing it I went to the driver’s seat and had to adjust it a lot man how can she drive with only this much of space?

“Gosh, how short are you man, do you even have space for your leg when you drive?” She chuckled on that. I started the car and asked her where she stays, I knew that but had to ask otherwise she would know something’s fishy.

“Are you sure you don’t want your leg checked?” I asked her, she should get that checked.

“Positive,” She said with a smile.

“Well, I don’t think you would be able to make it tomorrow” I know she is hurt but wanted to ask so I will skip tomorrow if she’s not coming.

“You have no idea Mister, I will just say REPARO and it will be fine,” She said laughing again and that really was funny.

“Okay potter head let’s see how that works”

I parked her car on the place she instructed me on and made a note on my mind to get her car serviced as it's not in a good condition. 

I opened her door and she said, “Aren’t you a gentleman” sarcastically...

“Oh you have no idea about that, Let’s get you home Old Sport”, 

“O please you don’t stand a chance against Gatsby, he is way too cute” she was being too cute for me to handle and now I know she got a great taste in movies and series.

“Well, we can agree to disagree,” I said and we headed her home. She opened the door and I was holding her so that she doesn’t fall.

“Would you like anything?” She asked, 

“Let’s cut that formality for some other time, you need to rest.” Saying that I took her to her bedroom and started opening her shoes. 

“What the Fuck do you think you are doing” I ignored that and pulled out her socks and went out of her bedroom to get her some painkillers and a hot water bag. 

“Thanks,” She said and I tucked her in the comforter but the closeness was driving me crazy. I could not stop myself from staring at her eyes and lips but had to...

“Okay I will take your leave now, take care,” I said and started to leave 

“See you tomorrow?” She asked me and I nodded.
