Zara's POV.

Holy macaroni!!

Jason is kissing me...really really kissing me and what's more, I was too busy kissing him back and enjoying the kiss that I didn't even think of pulling away. It is like my brain was no longer functioning, like it is dead.

Jason let out a low groan and pulled back from the kiss.

"Oh my God." I breathed my eyes were still tightly shut.

"Damn right! You kiss really good, Cara Mia." He said and I could practically see the smug smirk on his face without even looking at him.

"Why do you keep calling me that? You are not even Italian." I said.

Really girl?

It is just wonderful how that was the first thing my brain and mouth thought to let out.

He laughed "But I am Italian...my dad was an Italian." He sounded amused.

I didn't even know he is an Italian.

They are a lot of things you don't know about him, Zara.

Fair enough.

"Why did you kiss me?" I asked him finally meeting his amused gaze.

"If I recall correctly, you kissed me back." He said.

"That is beside the point Jason. I didn't want to kiss you but you kissed me and that kinda messed with my brain and I didn't even realize..."I trailed off. He got my point already anyway.

"Good to know that I affect you that much, my dear wife." He said looking too proud of himself. I wanted to beat that look out of his face.

"We are not supposed to do this, Jason. We made a deal." I said again.

He shrugged lightly making my hands that had gone limp on his neck fall but his hands were still gripping my waist firmly.

"And I told you I don't remember making any sort of deal with you. You are my wife Zara and I don't see anything wrong with kissing my wife." He said.

Oh my goodness! We have only been married for some hours and he is being like this...

I should have known that I couldn't trust him. I should have written it in some kind of paper and have him sign it. I am such a big fool.

I absentmindedly brought my hand up and massaged the side of my head. I could feel an headache coming.

"Are you okay, Cara Mia? Do you have a headache?" He asked. He looked like he was genuinely worried.

My heart clenched a bit at the endearment. It isn't supposed to clench or even react to anything this man says but my heart and brain are walking in opposite directions.

"Kind of but...." he interrupted.

"We are heading home then. We have stayed long enough." He said practically lifting me off my feet and heading towards his grandma and my parents.

"Hey Jason and Zara, what are you doing? You should be having fun, it is your wedding after all." His grandma said smiling brightly.

I was going to answer her but Jason beat me to it.

"We have had enough fun grandma, Zara has got a headache so I will be taking her home." He said while I just stared at him like he has grown two heads.

"Oh really? Will you be okay, Zara? You want me to grab some med.."

"I will be fine Ma, stop stressing it is just a headache." I told my mum sending her the brightest smile I could afford at that moment.

"She will be fine, besides she has her husband to take care of her." My dad said reassuring her.

"Okay then. Take care of yourself Zara and don't worry we will attend to the guests." She said.

I bid them goodbye and kissed them lightly on the cheeks. Grandma pulled me into a hug and whispered some incoherent words in my ear... she must have been speaking Italian. I raised my eyebrows at her when I pulled back as if to ask her what she was saying but she just sent me a sheepish smile in return.

I haven't even seen Lucy since she helped me get dressed. My sari was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't stop swooning at myself when I looked at my self in the mirror. Funny right, I mean I was there when my mum and Lucy purchased the dress although I wasn't all that into it...I was too busy stress eating to really focus.

The event planner did a really great job with the decorations. The lightning was really great, it wasn't too bright and too dull, it was just enough to create that magical feels...you know like in those movies and fairytale movies. The flowers complemented my dress and the lighting seemed to make it shine even brighter.

All in all, my wedding was almost magical.

I changed out of my heavy sari and jewelry and changed into one that was pink in color but it was pretty light and equally pretty.

"Come on Zara." Jason nudged me and I sent him a light smile before turning back to my mum.

"Mum, have you seen Lucy?" I asked her.

"She left for home a while ago..." she started.

"When you were too busy kissing my grandson here." Jason's grandma interrupted her while wiggling her eyebrows at me.

I turned bright red and hid my face in Jason's chest and I could feel his chest rumble as a result of him laughing and that alone made me blushed even harder.

So what? Everyone saw us kissing. Gosh! This is so embarrassing.

"Okay grandma. We are out of here." Jason said before he somehow maneuver us out of the room with my face still buried in his chest.

I didn't want to see the expression on my parents face so I just kept it hidden.

"We are out now, you can stop hiding." Jason said and I could hear the amusement in his voice.

I slowly stepped out of his embrace and met his eyes. They were shining brightly with amusement and I couldn't help the blush that started spreading up my neck.

"You are so damn cute, Cara." He said laughing at me.

"This is so embarrassing, everyone saw us kiss Jason." I groaned and buried my face in the palm of my hands.

Jason came closer and removed my hands from my face.

"What is so embarrassing about that? People kiss all the time, especially husbands and wives." He said.

"Just shut up Jason." I groaned and he laughed.

"Come one, get in the car." He said and turned me around to face the car. He opened the door for me and I stepped inside with him following closely behind me. The driver took off immediately Jason closed the door.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jason's penthouse was absolutely gorgeous and full of life. He had pictures of he and his grandma around the living room and they were some pictures of people that I assumed were his parents. They was one particular picture of Jason and his grandma that I really loved. They were both covered in flour and his grandma was holding a spatula. The picture was taken when they were both looking into each other eyes and smiling so brightly that it was almost blinding.
The kitchen was every woman wet dreams. It was really big and had all the equipment one could ever ask for and they were all built in.
The living room was no exemption, they were paintings all around and even more pictures and plenty of awards were arranged on one side of the living room. The television was pretty huge and it practically covered the whole wall.
We argued a little bit when it came to the room I will be using but he eventually gave in and gave me a room that was directly opposite his.
The room was pretty big too...it was only a tad bit smaller than my room back at my parents. The room was fit for a queen,pink walls and beddings with a queen sized bed and the bed has a fucking princessy canopies- if princessy is even a word. The view from the room was amazing too especially at night. It was pretty obvious that the view won't be the same in the morning. There is a balcony too with little cushions that were also pink in color. Everything in the room is so pink that will be almost nauseating if I didn't have a tolerance for the color.
I let out a frustrated sign and stretched again to reach the extremely thing buttons that held my sari top together but I couldn't reach it no matter how much I tried. I was standing in front of the dressing mirror. My face was bare of any makeup.
"Will you just open already?" I groaned out loud and I heard a knock on the door immediately.
"Is everything okay Zara? Do you need help with anything?" Jason called.
"Umm...no, I am good." I lied.
Why did you have to lie, Zara? Now you will spend the night in that sari.
"Okay then but I am right in the opposite room if you need anything." He offered.
Come on, tell him now.
"Umm.. Jason?"
"Yes, Zara."
"I actually need help with my sari." I said.
He chuckled "Can I come in?" He asked and I nodded.
"Yes." I said when I finally realized that he couldn't see me.
He opened the door as walked in. He was no longer in his Kaftan. He was naked from the waist up and had only an extremely short short on....it could almost pass as a pair of boxers.
"So? What do you need help with?" He asked snapping me out of my trance. I didn't even realize I was busy gaping at his chest.
I cleared my throat and pointed at the buttons behind my sari top. He walked closer and stood behind me then he slowly held my hair together and placed it on my right shoulder baring my neck to him.
I felt his fingers graze my neck and back before he started undoing the button slowly. He was undoing the buttons so slowly that it almost felt sensual adding the fact that I was busy watching him in the mirror. His finger tips grazed my exposed back and then he undid the last button.
He ran his fingers down my back and then he wrapped his right hands around my waist and drew me closer to him that my back was flush against his front with no space between us. He placed his chin on my exposed shoulders and started covering my neck with light kisses.
I groaned and tipped my neck back baring my neck even more.
"You are so beautiful, Cara Mia." He breathed into my ear making me shiver.
"What are you doing, Jason?"I asked and he stopped kissing me immediately and met my gaze in the mirror.
"Kissing you." He replied.
"But..." I started and he interrupted.
"You don't have to worry Zara. I won't be making love to you tonight. I assume you are pretty tired from today's event so I am going to let you rest." He added and turned me around to face him.
He ran his pinky finger down my cheeks and smiled at me.
"I want you Zara but I am willing to wait until you are ready but just keep it in my mind that I want you so bad I can barely walk straight." He said.
I opened my mouth to reply but he silenced me by kissing me squarely on the lips and he pulled back almost immediately.
"Goodnight Cara." He said and I watched him walk out of the room without giving him a reply.
I didn't miss the obvious dent in his short and that was enough proof of how much I affected him. What he didn't know was that his presence and his touch affected me just as much.
What have I gotten myself into?
