Chapter 28, the attack

Later on in the day when Christine was changing into her new white and turquoise spaghetti strapped, with beachy flowers boho style tea length dress Alex had bought her to wear for dinner when she heard something in the living room…the window was open. Puzzled and thought Alex was messing with her again so she doesn’t think much of it but checked it out. She gets to the living room window and sees no one there so she shrugged her shoulders and didn’t think of it. On the way to her room, she sees something in the window in the corner of her eye. For a moment she thought it was Alex, but when she looked in the mirror it wasn’t him…

“Who are you and what are you doing here!? I’m on my honeymoon with my new husband!”

“Oh, I make nice timing!”

The mystery man ties up Christine’s hands, blindfolds her, and drags her away from their room! Christine screaming as loud as she could for help, but nobody hears her…Alex gets back with a surprise for her…but when he got there he got so worried and started to look throughout their room.

“Christine…Christine! Gasp, she dropped the shawl I gave her when we were dating…not good.” She never took off that shall it was special to her since he had given it to her the very first day they met in Spain she treasured it and would wear it as often as she could and she’d wash it almost every day so she could wear it again and again. He morphs into his wolf self and tries to find her scent. He searched high and low, day and night for her hoping she was ok. Meanwhile, with her, she tried leaving a note saying where she was and that she loves him and gave it to a dove hoping that he’s alright. He was resting at the same spot on the beach they were just at the night before wishing Christine, his precious rose, was with him…meanwhile with Christine she still had no idea where she was. She’s still blindfolded and tied up so it made writing the note hard but somehow managed to, and she was tied up to a tree. Even though she had a blindfold on at least that came to her advantage since she was crying her eyes out. Hoping her love would be coming soon. Finally, the letter she wrote to him got to the beach, and he was so happy to see that dove fly to him. He was almost the brink of tears when he spotted the bird since he had remembered what Christine had taught him about the god/goddess animal signs.

“Oh, my Rose I knew you’d help me!

My Dearest Alex,

Oh please help me all I know is I’m tied up to a tree…which probably doesn’t help much, but I’m blindfolded so I’m surprised I’m able to write this…please help me I was lucky enough to free one hand and soon the other will be free-wait my blindfolds off! Ah that’s better well I’m in some jungle and I’m free! If I try to run I’m scared of what the kidnapper will do…do find me soon…I love you, Alex

Yes, she’s free thank goodness for that…I’m coming my love!” He morphed again to a wolf and ran as fast as he could to get to his woman…he recognized where she was since he had been there for weapon training while in the Army.

“Alex I thought I wouldn’t see you again!”

“Oh Rose it's ok I’m here…”

“Aww isn’t that cute…”

“Who are you and what do you want?”

“Surely I thought Christine would recognize me?”

“Hun you know this guy?”

“Wait…you’re Ares and Nemesis’ other son…Kostos. Zeus mentioned to you when Antonio and I were at Olympus the first time, but we never saw you.”

“Well about time you recognized me!”

“How would I the last time I was on Olympus was when I got engaged!”

“Wrong my friend wrong! I was around I just wasn’t in human form.”

“How would I know it was you?!”

“I thought your parents would have told you that we can transform into things.”

“Yes, they did. I know my parents' animals why else would I’ve used a dove to send my note to Alex. A dove is my mom’s animal, and my dad a raven, crow thing. Yeah I know all about it how I found out I was a goddess was research for an English project before I left for Greece.”

“Whoa, Christine I’ve never seen you like this…”

“Alex not now, this is personal…what do you want with me Kostos?”

“I want you that’s what I want.”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa I’m married! My husband right here you idiot! We’re on our honeymoon which you’re ruining!”

“Not that way…I want you to be my slave…you work for me for as long as I say. You’ll be on call day and night.” Kostos like the sound of that. He was jealous of his brother, Antonio who almost had her but let her go. Hoping that Christine would come to him but instead, she went away from Olympus.

“And if I say no what’ll happen?” Christine getting angry at him just wanting to get away from him and go back to Alex and their honeymoon

“I’ll kill you and your husband!” Kostos smirked an evil smile as he watched the newlyweds squirm on what to do.

“I have no choice, she kisses Alex, I will go.” Christine getting teary-eyed didn't expect this to happen on their honeymoon...

“Christine no don’t do this!” Alex was getting worried and scared that he was going to lose his wife before they had a chance to live life together...

“What choice do I have?! It’s either serving him or we die! I don’t want to lose you so I’ll serve him.” Christine was starting to angry cry and Alex didn't like it when she did.

“Wonderful! Enjoy your honeymoon while you can…you never know when I’ll take you again…” Kostos still had his evil smile as he started walking away from them.

“Take me?! Tears fall, Alex I’m scared…” Christine just wanted to enjoy her honeymoon now she had to keep looking over her shoulder for the rest of her trip...

“You better not take her she’s my wife! If you do I’ll deal with you myself!” Alex was getting angry and rightfully so. Nobody was going to hurt or harm his new bride.

“Alex I can do this I know you’re trying to protect me but I got my tricks too.” Christine knew how to protect herself too, but Alex was a chivalrous guy and wanted to protect her.

“I know you do…but you’re my woman and my wife and I’d do anything for you Rose.” Alex gave her a big hug and tried to calm her.

“Tears fall, my wolf, hug, my hero…I know I can always count on you…”

“Ssh it's ok,  it makes me happy that you can count on me, hug, I love you, Rose.” He hugs her and tries to comfort her.

“I love you too Alex.”

A soft sob happens as they held each other in their arms. Kostos left the scene and went back to Olympus. That night for their protection and safety they asked to get direct tickets back to Spain. Rose didn’t sleep well on the way back all she could see was Kostos trying to grab her and take her away from Alex. She was crying off and on while on the flight. While at the airport Alex calls his parents to explain why they're back so early. Alex held her close to him at all times so he doesn’t lose her again…Kostos made attempts to take Christine back with him to go back to Olympus, but thanks to Alex and their wolves she was safe! Course there were other tries and twice Kostos has gotten his way and did succeed once, but Alex even offered to take her place to let her go!

Christine wouldn’t let him, but when she broke free from him her ropes her training, and just being defensive kicked in…let’s just say we all learned not to make her mad…she went all out on that fight like she hadn’t before and for Alex, it was amazing to watch his wife go crazy like this. She had brought her weapons in case she needed it and boy did she use them! Weapon training, goddess training, wolf training pretty much all she could do used at once Alex had never seen her like this before and it shocked him! Though he was surprised she didn’t morph to her wolf self from all the anger she had towards him.

“Dang Rose where did you learn all that!?” Asked Alex with a shocked look on his face. Christine smirked as he saw this side of her for the first time.

“Pirate and goddess training with a mix of the new wolf training from what I see you do hun it’s no big deal.” Christine felt proud of herself that she could take down this jerk, but she appreciated the help from Alex and the pack too. 

“Dang…my wife can kick butt!” Alex felt proud of her and smiled.

“Oh shucks hun, giggles, just doing what I was taught and I admit it is a lot of fun.”

“I love you!” He hugs her tightly and Christine smiles.

“I love you too, don't let go.”

“Wouldn’t dream of it, babe…” She smiles and she flies them back to his house from Olympus and even though they’ve been married for a few months she still got a shiver down her spine when she heard her new name. When they got back to Spain the others wanted to make sure they were alright, and they were of course. Alex was bragging about Christine’s fight with Kostos and how well she fought. The others listened very carefully to hear all the details and couldn’t believe that it was their sweet and gentle Christine. Lesson learned to everyone…never; ever make Christine mad it’ll be the worst mistake you ever make. Unless you want to get your butt kicked by a woman/goddess/werewolf then go right ahead.

Riff knew it was smart to not teach her much since she had all she needed to defend herself but he mainly taught her fighting styles while she was a wolf, and eventually got good at that. So good that she could beat Riff in a fight and wonder who else she was going to be her next victim for a fight. No one else dared try to fight her. She may be a woman but they all knew not to mess with her. Nemesis was so proud of her when she had heard about the fight so was Ares. Even though she wasn’t their daughter-in-law they still thought of her family everyone thought of her as family. Even Zeus was proud of her when he heard about it! Even gave her some new powers for her to try on her victims I mean her fighting partners whoever it is. She wanted to try it out, so she went to their beach and tried some of her new powers out. It was mainly water like powers, but there were some others mixed in as well like her mom’s ability to grow flowers out of her hand she liked that one a lot and used it as often as she could especially for Anita, her mom, Rosa and Marie they liked it as much as she did. As a surprise for her 22nd birthday, Alex surprised her with a house of their own and it wasn’t even a block away from their beach which made her so happy.
