Chapter 5: The Kings Rage

2020-10-23 04:24:59Immediately Tao left the palace at Ethinora kingdom, he journeyed straight to the Fiko's kingdom to pass the message to the king.
He arrived at the palace entrance and before he could introduce himself to the guards, one of the top warriors that usually travels with Lazaro said to them,
"let him in, as the king is expecting Tao, the great wizard."
Tao was not too surprised, as he knew that, all in the Fiko kingdom are a magical being. And knowing who Lazaro is, it's of no surprise to him about the king expecting him.
"Come with me, O' wizard!" The warrior said as he led the way before Tao, and they both walked into the palace.
As they got inside, Lazaro was seating on his throne as an unmovable mountain. "What do we hold this visit of yours to our great kingdom, wizard?" Lazaro asked without a friendly look towards the wizard.
"I bring you a message of he that will be born, that possesses the transformation breath of the beast, the dark magic, the healing power with compassion. He would have the natural strength of humans with great leadership, which is equal to none and will rise from the Ethinora kingdom.
He will be born by the ruling family of the kingdom, and all the four kingdoms will bow to him! He alone will reunite all, for he shall be called, Lord of the supreme kingdom and by him, the old Hakadosh kingdom will be reborn!" The wizard let out the prophecy and stared at Lazaro straight to his face without fear.
Lazaro roars out in laughter and pointed at him, "who are thou to bring me such message filled with blasphemy and lies?" Lazaro asked in rage and with a scorned look towards the wizard.
"The message is not from me, but from the spirits that govern the affairs of the living from the dark and righteous places of the heavens and earth. And from the corners where no mortal dare treads their feet. They have sent me and I must do their wish." Tao answered with a loud voice moving a little bit closer to the throne.
"Then if this your so-called prophecy is true, I will make it untrue by waging war against all those kings and make them not to exist. Only then will this not come to manifestation and you, my friend, will help me to achieve my goal by working hand in hand with me, as I have Learnt of your great powers, O' great wizard!" Lazaro said laughing mischievously.
"May the spirits forbid me working hand in hand with evil like you, in voiding a prophecy that I bring to you! I want you to know this, the war you plan shall bring you your destruction, and your stories shall go round from generation to generation about how the great evil of all time fell at his sword. For your blood shall fill the ground, as the birds of the air shall feed on your lifeless body."
Lazaro got angrier and the rage all over him made the whole palace started shaking, down to the foundations. None of his warriors could even stand on their feet anymore.
"I will not only kill you but also feed your carcass to the beast and the birds of the air!" Lazaro said as he was stretching out his magical staff to chant out some incantation towards Tao.
The wizard instantly stamps his foot on the ground with his magical staff raised across his head, as he turned into smoke and disappeared into the air.
"Wait and show me how powerful you are, you wretched old wizard. No matter how far you run, I will still come for you after I am done with that kingdom!" Lazaro roars in rage.
The news of the coming of a child that will possess all the gifts of the four kingdoms was everywhere all over the remaining kingdoms. So many people didn't believe such can ever happen, due to the reason that the Ethinora kingdom people have no magical power.
They are just mere mortals that have to even train their children to be strong, and majorly do farming and look after their livestock. "This prophecy makes no sense," these are the words of many people around the Ethinora kingdom and other kingdoms.
It was no more news that the Fiko kingdom is about to wage war against all other kingdoms, and all the rest kingdoms have started preparing all their warriors for war, to protect their land, people, and properties.
"I say we take the war to them! As we know, waiting for them to bring the war to us will be disastrous." One of the elders in the Hazizuz kingdom said with anger.
"Yes, I agree with you on this, the Fiko kingdom king has made it clear that he wants war and we can not allow him to come to us. We are the nightwalkers, and attacking them at night, under the full moon will be very appropriate" another one of the elders said in backing up the earlier point, made by one of them.
"We need to prepare ourselves very well before we match into their territory. As you all know, Lazaro is no one to joke with, and I am very sure he will be expecting us" The king said with a very calm voice.
"But, we will let the Fiko and any other kingdoms that want to wage war against us know that we are the wrong side for them to have chosen. For this is going to be a blood bath and the story of the fall of Lazaro will be told Forever" the king said as he suddenly howls out in anger.
"We shall match into Fiko kingdom, destroying everything, even down to livestock and we shall make our mark known as the most dreadful beasts that tread among the living! It shall be known that the Fiko kingdom brought this upon themselves!"
Eddie said in rage, as his fangs were let out and his eyes were as red as blood!
