Seven

Damian dropped his phone on the floor the second she finished the sentence. His heartbeats went insane inside his chest.

After a long moment of proceeding and analyzing what Avery said, he cleared his throat and burst out laughing. “You almost got me with this!”

“Dam…”

“That’s one lame joke, Ave,” Damian chuckled nervously.

“Dam, I'm not joking,” Avery mumbled. “I want to do it.”

Damian widened his eyes and looked down for a moment, his hand covering his mouth. “Avery,” he sighed deeply and scratched the back of his neck. “Do you know what you just said?”

Avery shyly nodded, her cheeks turning red.

“D—do you…” Damian shook his head and tried to breathe correctly as he was under the shock. He could hear his heart beating widely.

“A—Avery, please tell me you're not thinking straight now. Please.”

Avery nibbled on the bottom of her lip and looked at him. “I don't want to be a virgin anymore, Dam,”

“I know, but—” Damian took another deep breath. “Why me?!”

Avery rubbed her neck. “Because you're my best friend. I don't know, maybe because I rely on you the most, and I trust you.” she smiled.

Best friend.

“You can't lose your virginity to your friend, Ave. Friends don't do this stuff.”

“But I know I can do it with you without making things awkward between us, Dam. Our friendship is different from others,”

Friendship.

“Ave, listen,” Damian sighed and stared right into her brown eyes. “I lost my virginity years ago, and I don't even remember how, when, where, and with who. And it kills me, it kills me that I did it with so many girls that I can't remember. It kills me that I gave my body and took bodies without meanings, and Ave, I don't want you to make the same mistake.”

Avery felt sad because of Damian's sudden confession. He never talked about his old relationships. She only knew that he wasn't a virgin anymore, but not in such a bad way.

She put her hand on Damian’s and smiled softly.

“If I do it with you, I sure will never forget it. Do you know why? Because I can never forget you.”

Damian didn't say anything as her words were still echoing in his mind.

Why are you doing this to me? he thought.

He wanted to hug her, to kiss her, and to hold her forever.

“Dam, please,” Avery pouted.

“You should offer your body to someone who deserves it. Someone you love,” Damian said, avoiding Avery's cute stares.

“But I love you, Dam!”

“Not it that way, idiot!”

Avery crossed her arms and pouted. “Then I'll let Nate take it. I don't care if he rejects me after or not.”

Damian tensed.

“Because I love him in the other way. Yeah, I should do it.”

“Not him, Ave,” Damian muttered coldly.

“Who then? A random stranger? I don't know!”

Damian shrugged, “I don't care, but not Nate Walker.”

Avery scoffed and rolled her eyes. “I don't know many guys, and I'm good friends with those whom I know. I don't even have a boyfriend,” she laughed. “I will stay virgin for the rest of my life.”

They stayed silent for a long moment, and Avery was playing with her hands while Damian was biting his fingernails and shaking his leg. 

“Won't you regret it?” Damian broke their silence.

“Regret what?”

“Losing your virginity to me.”

Avery gulped and stared at Damian, who looked stressed and nervous.  She shook her head, “No, Dam, I don't have any reason to.” 

“I see,” Damian sighed. “Let's do it then,” he mentally cursed himself as he agreed.

He always desired his best friend, he always dreamed of that moment. He always imagined them kissing and touching each other, but he never thought it would happen that way.

Avery only wanted to lose her virginity to look cool in front of Nate.

For Nate, damn it.

“Really?” Avery gulped.

“You said you needed help, so…” Damian blushed.

“Y—yeah,” Avery smiled and approached to hug him. “Thank you, Dam,” she whispered.

“Let me just take a shower first. I don't want you to have your first time with a stinky man.”

Avery giggled and went to her room to calm herself down as she was internally screaming.  She couldn't believe she would finally do it— with her best friend above all.

She changed her college outfit and put on a black silk night robe she didn’t wear in a long time.

Should I try to impress him? she asked herself.

Avery stood in front of the mirror and brushed her long dark hair. She put on her favourite perfume and put all the stuff away from her bed.

She sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for Damian to come.

“You look nervous,” Damian entered the room, wearing black shorts and a grey teeshirt.  

“And so do you,” Avery chuckled nervously.

Damian walked slowly toward her and sat next to her. “This is so weird,” he mumbled. And so confusing.

“Yeah, but we're used to weird things, right ?”

“Mm,” Damian nodded. 

“But are you sure you w—” 

“Just kiss me, Dam,” Avery cut him off and put her hand on Damian's thigh, making him close his eyes tightly, trying not to get too excited. He turned his head to face her and he stared at her beautiful brown eyes.  His eyes moved to her lips, and he gulped.

“First of all, he will kiss you,” Damian whispered as he remembered that he was here to teach her.

They approached their faces slowly until they could hear each other's breathing. Damian put his lips on Avery's— a moment he's been waiting for during five long years.  Avery’s lips were soft and tasted like sugar. He guessed that she put on a flavoured lip balm. 

Avery opened her mouth, permitting him to deepen the kiss. Damian cupped her cheeks and kissed her lips passionately, forgetting something called friendship.

They parted after a while, then Avery shyly lied on the bed, biting her lower lip and making Damian go crazy.

“He will slide his hands slowly under your dress.” Damian leaned and kissed her again before he pulled up her silky robe. He stood up to look for something, leaving Avery some time to take off her robe and take some breath. 

Damian returned with a small bottle and a condom he had hidden in the closet. He smashed Avery's lips as he played with her hair, then he moved to her neck. Avery threw back her head on the pillow, exposing more dangerous zones. 

“He will kiss your neck and leave a hickey on his favourite zone,” Damian whispered, pointing his finger above her collarbone— his favourite zone.

“Why don't you leave it too?” Avery asked shyly.

“You know what a hickey means, Ave? People usually leave them to mark you as theirs. It’s like they're saying you are mine.”

I want to mark you. the wolf in him thought.

Avery blushed. “Oh, I see.”

“He will kiss your body,” Damian started kissing the length of her body, starting from her belly, then slowly going down until he reaches her thighs. He hesitates for a moment before he takes off her bras, making Avery’s cheeks burn.

Damian climbed on top of her and kissed her nippled, sending shivers in her entire body. He left butterfly kisses all around that area as his warm hands caressed her legs.

Avery was having a hard time to breathe as Damian’s kisses were sweeter than her favourite hazelnut chocolate. Then, she felt something hard against her thigh and pressed her lips tightly to stop herself from smiling.

Damian groaned as he felt his growing crotch against her skin. Avery looked at him and helped him take off his teeshirt, then he helped her lie back on the mattress and pulled down her panties gently before he got rid of his boxers too.

Avery gulped when she took a look at his length.

Damian didn’t dare look at her. He cleared his throat nervously and put on the condom.

“First of all, he has to prep you,” he continued before opening the bottle of lube and putting some on his hands.

“Prep?”

“Yeah, you need to get used of having something inside of you,” Damian cringed and felt embarrassed to say such a thing.

“Oh.” Avery blushed.

“I will push one finger first, okay? It's going to hurt as it's your first,”

“I—I'm ready, Dam,” Avery took a deep breath, then she cried when she felt something crossing her untouched area.  It hurt her so much that tears fell from her eyes. 

After a while, she sighed from relief when the pain was gone.

“I’m sorry, Ave,” Damian whispered and wiped her tears with his thumbs before he planted a kiss on her forehead.

“It’s okay, Dam. Go on,”

Damian kissed Avery's lips as he added another finger and started scissoring her. Avery moaned into his mouth, and it drove him crazy as her voice sounded so lustful.

“Ready?” Damian asked as he positioned himself in front of her.

“Yes.”

“Please don't regret it,” Damian whispered in her ear before he pushed his hard length inside of her, provoking her loud moan.

Damian moved slowly as he adapted inside of her. His lips never left her body to make her feel more relaxed and forget the pain.

But it was only a pleasure.

At every thrust, he had the honour to hear Avery's moans, and he thought they sounded like the sweetest melody.

“D—Dam!” Avery was feeling something different, strange, and extravagant— a feeling of pure pleasure.

“Damn, Ave. You’re so tight,” Damian was transferred to another world.

He might have slept with a bunch of girls before, but doing this with Avery was a whole new level. It felt good, so good that he was afraid he would wake up from this dream at any moment.

“Dam, I’m going to—“

“Yes, Avery. Just cum.”

Damian stood up after he took a breath and headed to the bathroom to come back with a wet towel to clean Avery. He lied next to her after that, and Avery was surprised because she expected him to sleep in his room, but he stayed with her. He lied next to her and dimmed the lights down before putting the cover over them.
