I was glad I spoke to Junior yesterday and to say we had fun was an understatement. Junior was feeling better and it gladdened my heart. Even his family noticed he was more cheerful now.

It's been one day, twenty one hours, twenty eight painful minutes since Calista arrived and she's made me want to pull her hair in annoyance. She's been up to silly tricks, and I guess I was beginning to gain a new perspective to things; Mama's favourite was Ruby but Calista's favourite was Rose. It was weird. 

The past few days had been hell and I couldn't wait to go back to school, my heart still ached and I might just have to leave with it that way. I shed the last tear I had to spare on this issue, I was done crying. It was the first day of school and I had mixed feelings about it.
