Richard had hardly finished his statement when he heard a knock at the door, he stood up to button up his trousers while Diana went to check who was at the door, she flung the door open and there stood Fred at the doorstep.        "Hello Darling! When did you arrive?"Diana reached him and tugged at his arms. Her conscience pricked her the moment she saw Fred, so much that if Fred had been very sensitive, he could have sensed it, but he was enraptured by his wife's home-coming. He could not bothered himself with any expression on the face of his wife.         "Just some hours back," replied Diana with a grin.         "Are you all right? You look so pale and worn-out. Is it because of your long journey?" Fred asked, wrapping his hands around her waist.       

Two weeks later, Richard received a letter asking him to report at head office of Total petroleum for an interview. His joy knew no bound when he got the letter. Little wonder then that he kept opening the letter and reading it over and over again every two minutes interval, as if trying to cram the content word for word. Each time he read it, he became overwhelmed with joy and when he had closed it, his face would shine, with a delightful smile playing on his lips.              He was sitting outside looking very moody, when the postmaster brought the letter for delivery. This was after he had freed himself from Diana's entanglement. It's signpost was straegically placed at a point within the vicinity.It was through that signpost that Richard found his way through to the office. It was 8.00a.m. when he reached the venue. He looked round and discovered that a lot of people, both the staff and visitor, we're trooping into the building. Since he did not know the security unit."Good morning sir. He soon walked towards an overhead bridge and saw the need to sojourn there for sometime, at least to save his head from the scording sun.
