Two days later it was Friday and the party was at the same time. Josh had managed to avoid his father for the past two days, as he was always at work when Josh came home. Mike had picked him up and his sister on Friday night and drove them to Mike's place for the party. Josh had been totally against his sister's coming along, but his mother had really forced him. When the party was already in full swing and there were too many people around and Josh started to feel uncomfortable, he stopped in a quiet spot in the corner of the living room and smoked a joint.
