Chapter 1

I am an emperor who conquered six nations and won the hearts of many of my people. The people conquered by me loved me, but some people hated me. I never regretted what I have done and always lived for the people. I did not have an heir because the love of my life passed away. Right now, I am slowly dying. I forgot the reason why.

Chapter 2

My first impression of this life is I hated being a baby. I had so many diaper rashes and randomly did the- you know what- into the diaper. I can’t walk or talk, but I do get VIP treatment all the time. My parents just get everything for me, and if I show them my cute, adorable, handsome -ahem- face, they would let me do it or forgive me.

Chapter 3

I looked straight into its eyes, but never met it. It was looking at mom, snarling as it came closer. My mom seemed to have frozen in fear. I let out a sound to make her snap out of it, which clearly worked. The first thing she did was run. While she ran, she picked me up from the back and hugged me closer to her chest. Her heart was beating faster and faster. Sweat was dripping down from her temples and ended up on the top of my head. I glanced back towards the hybrid beast. It was catching up, really fast.

Chapter 5

I opened to see three heads peeking at me from the top of the crib. Lets just say, I woke up with a startle. It took some time for my eyes to adjust the light. It was Jeremy, Diana, and Anna. They had huge smiles plastered onto their faces when I stared up at them. Anna reached over and picked me up.

Chapter 6

It has been one and half days and two nights since we left our old house. There were times that we took a break and we all took turns driving the carriage, but we were all mostly tired. Sleep was one of the things that was difficult. It wasn’t easy sleeping on a moving carriage. I looked around to see most of us slowly trying to sleep and then when a bump came they all woke up startled. It's been like this since morning. Mom has been struggling with sleep too.

Since it was my first time walking, It was really hard since my legs had almost no strength. My legs were hurting like hell, even though I hadn’t walked that much. The wall helped me support my balance a lot. “Please. Help.”

I felt warm. No, I felt too warm. I woke up with a groan. I remember Ariella and the egg. My arms were empty. I sat up and scanned the area, looking for the egg. It was right beside me, wrapped up. Chapter 10

I woke up with a groan. My head was hurt, probably with the drug they gave me. There was some yelling from the background. I opened my eyes to see that I was staring at a flash bulb. I sat up and looked around. I was in a small handmade crib. There was a desk and chair at one side of the room. The walls had a cream color with sea green borderline. There was a couch and chair. The door opened and a couple walked in. Who were they?
