Akwa asked just as she finished preening herself from the mirror. Nanklin hesitated, taking a lucid observation from head to toe, and even asked her to turn around. "You spent how long? Five minutes with the mirror and you expect to look like Rihanna? Girl you gotta be kidding.""What? What is wrong with this?" She asked reluctantly throwing her arms down her body. "Everything!"  Akwa had just finished her last lecture for the day and was walking to her hostels with a company of a 200 level medical student, Panmun. They've been friends for quite some time and often seen hanging around campus. He is an indigenous student, and stays off campus. Akwa however finds his company intriguing so spends most of her idle time with him. "I wanted to invite you to a friend's birthday party, later this night," Panmun stopped and said, just a few walk to her hostels. "Thanks Panmun, but I don't party," she declined with a grin. "Actually, a birthday party. Not party party thing, just a birthday," he further clarified.With a smile still on her face, she replied, "I heard you loud and clear the first time. It's just not my thing.  The morning was cold and breezy, most people were still in bed, others up and running around. Nanklin was already up and she had mingled around and probably came in contact with information. She however rushed back in and woke Akwa up, who slept with her journal next to her. "Girl, how long have you been offline?" Nanklin asked, successfully waking her up. She wiped her face, still getting rid of the sleep in her eyes. "Two days, why?""Hehehehe. . ." Nanklin laughed. "See, u don blow o.  With each hour, each day, moment and each kiss, Jason and Akwa's love became more stiffer and stronger.The thing they shared had hit the public eye, the rumors of their love confirmed by those who doubted and at length, sought to come inbetween. The entire school had grown fond of them, as some won't even look, for all they will see is the same old news, love in the alfresco. People passed, watched, wishing they could have the same thing, some had ask how they made it through, and always there was a thing about their answer that just keep one going. From her observation, it was a surprise birthday celebration for one them. However she took her time, leaned beside a pillar and watched carefully as they were in a pool of joy. She at that moment wished she'd been partly involved in such an occasion, either the celebrant or the organizer. Being staring for a while, she suddenly smiled and headed for the exit.
