   TODAY'S MONDAY, first day of school. Mr. Robert had sent all my new clothes earlier this morning, via two strange fellows. They came with a signed note, so I knew it was Mr. Robert who had sent them.  I pressed my new school uniform very neatly and I polished my shoes so that they shined like the sun. I took a hot bath, and frantically dried my body.I wasn't just exited about school, but because I was going to meet jo with Ava, a white girl. This was my first encounter with a white girl, and to crown it all, she asked for this. I first met Ava back in the party, where we spoke only briefly. I still remembered how she looked enchanting in her red dinner gown and high heel shoes.  The kiss she planted on my cheek, was indelible a
