Sizwe a typical black zulu boy who was brought up in a strong Christian family, taught by the society that there is only black or white in color and nothing in between. He did what was expected from him, to be obedient, follow norm by passing at school having a girlfriend, be naughty like other boys, get a job, marry and have children. Somehow he always knew he had to strive to not raise eyebrows with Mvuyisi, his childhood friend and best friend in more ways. Growing up in their village, these two boys were more connected to one another, attending each other's family gatherings, sleeping over at each other's homes, they were brothers. Without disappointing they both got girlfriends and Sizwe even managed to impregnate his so the two families expected they would marry to correct the shame in the eyes of the church. Worried that Sizwe was getting closer and closer to settling down with Nosipho the pregnant girl, Mvuyisi sat his best friend down by the river bank to have the most unusual talk with him. Nahuhumaling sandali si Harry kay Ruiz, pero napatunayan niyang si Reyna nga ang kanyang gusto dahil labis s'yang nagseselos ng makita nitong may kasamang ibang lalaki si Reyna. Kaya ipinaglalaban nito ang kanyang pagmamahal para sa kanya. Kung kailan masaya na silang dalawa sa kanilang pag-iibigan, tsaka naman nagparamdam muli ang lalaking minahal noon ni Reyna ng labis. Pero sinaktan lamang siya at iniwan na parang isang basurang basta-basta nalang itinapon dahil wala ng silbi sa kanya. Pero hanggang saan sila dadalhin ng kanilang masayang pagsasama, dahil hindi lang si Julliene Cheng ang tutol sa kanilang relasyon. Kundi pati ang dati niyang kasintahan na si Jonel Cornelio. Isang bangungot ang muling magbabalik nito sa buhay ni Reyna. Ang dahilan kung bakit s’ya naging matigas ang kanyang puso at ang nagtulak sa kanya para makipagsapalaran sa ibang lugar para lang s'ya makalimutan.
