Vince, an apt young doctor lives with his young sister, and grandmother, who is constantly urging him to find himself a woman in his life. He has a small circle of friends, including Zack and Tanya (medical doctors), and Harry, an affluent gentleman. His character is greatly moulded by his associations.
His life takes a down turn as he experiences a life changing event. He is sued for a case of patient mismanagement which results in the loss of his practicing license, and he is also fined heftily. He sells his lovey house and relocates to the city outskirts where he and his small family has to begin life all over, and with little to start with. He was steeped into the practice of medicine, but now he learns a new trade, running between shelves and tables at a flower and veggie shop, and a restaurant. He accepts his new station in life and, over time, grows to appreciate it.
