"So he didn't call or chat you up after that?"Kay asked as he ate in my room
"Yes"I said as I tried calling him,he wasn't picking
"Still not picking?"he asked,I nodded yes
"Just calm down,he'd call you"Kay assured me
"Hm okay"I sighed as my phone rang,it was Jax,I picked it
"Jax?"I called to him
"It's his mum,not Jax, he's sick"I jerked when she said it
"Sick?,but"she cut in,I didn't see any sign of him gonna fall sick at school today
"He just suddenly"she didn't finish what she was saying when I hung up and stood up
"Where you heading at"Kay asked as I packed my hair
"Lend me your car keys please, I'm going to jax's house,and don't let dad and mum know please"I requested
"Okay be careful"he warned as I rushed outside, entering his car,and sped off to his house.On getting there,I parked roughly, entered his house and rushed straight to his room.i entered meeting his mum beside him
"You're here"his mum was surprised to see me
",Yeah"I said as I sat on the bed near Jax
"Jax"I called to him lowly,his lips were dry and he was profusely sweating bad,he was shivering
"Come on Jax"I said as I moved closer to him as I placed his head on my laps, placing th warm clothes on his head,his temperature was high
"You could have taken him to the hospital"I told her
"It's not his thing,I can't afford to get him angry,when he sees himself at the hospital"she said,I felt pity,she seems to be the only one who cares about Jax,aside me
"Jax please"I panicked
"He just walked in angrily,he drank,broke things and just suddenly fell sick"she said solemnly,Jax drink?he stopped already right?he's a good guy now,that I love
"Huh,Jax drink?not possible"I said
"Yeah,he stopped but something or someone must have made him want to do it again"she said tiredly,it was me,I was the reason why
"Ma,you need to rest, I'll be here for him,you look exhausted"I said
"You sure?"she asked
"Yes I am, I'll be here"I said then she stood up and walked out, immediately tears dropped,I quickly wiped it off,he coughed,I gently rest his head on the bed,then laid down beside him, covering his body
"I'm sorry Jax,it's all my fault"I said as I cleaned away his sweat then...
"Please leave them, please, I'm begging you"he cried in his sleep, struggling on the bed
"Its okay,it's Jax, I'm here baby",i tried calming him down
"No,no,no,leave them please,you're hurting them"he struggled,I patted his back
"I'm here for you babe, I'm here,always"I assured him,then he stopped sleeping off,Kay call came up
"Are you okay?"he asked
"Yeah I am,it's just Jax,his mum said he drank and then broke things and suddenly fell sick"I said
"Hmm, prepare a little strong herb drunk for him, I'd get better before tomorrow"he said
"Hm okay thanks"I thanked him
"Yeah, welcome,take care of yourself,gotta go,bye"he said
"Bye"I said and hung up
"Get yourself together Phoebe"I said as I got off from the bed,walked out of his room, downstairs to the kitchen
"There should be something available I can use to make this medicinal herb"I said as I scrutinized looking for what to use
"Got it"I said smiling as I picked randomly,then made it,as soon as I wa done,I rushed back upstairs to his room,I say beside him,carried him up properly to feed him
"Come on"I babied as I fed him,he swallowed hard slowly as he coughed lightly
"Sorry babe"I said tapping his back,as soon as I was done feeding him,I adjusted him on the bed and let him sleep and stood up
"He'd be fine before tomorrow u guess"I said as I walked out of his room downstairs to the sitting room and laid on the couch.Clark call came in, what's this guy problem,I picked it
"Hey"I said sternly
"Hey,how you"he asked
"I'm fine"I have straight answer
"So you're going to school tomorrow?"he asked
"Yes,of course"I rolled my eyes to his question
"Are you okay?"he asked
"I'm fine"I said
"You just sound off,that's why"he said
"I'm okay"I said
"Hm okay,I should go then"he said.
"Yeah"I said immediately
"Bye"he said
"Bye"I said too and hung up.
Laying on the couch,I closed my eyes and slept off.
After Some Time,I woke up,I checked the time,it was midnight already,I decided to check on Jax,I lazily stood up to his room,as I was about to enter,the door opened and I saw Jax standing with his hair messy.i stared for some time and as I was about to walk out
"Hey"he held my hand as he dragged me inside
"It's okay if you don't want me here"I said looking up at him
"I was just about leaving anywhere"I added lying,lmao.
"I didn't say anything Phoebe"he said still holding my hands
"I don't want you to go either, please stay here with me tonight"he pleaded,wasn't he still mad at me?
"Okay"I answered immediately,then he left my hand
"Get yourself comfortable on the bed, I'll sleep here on the couch"he said not looking at me as he laid on the couch opposite me
"Hm okay"I said as I gently lay on the bed, covering my body with the blanket
"Are you cold there?"he asked
"Hm,no, I'm okay"I said
"Are you comfortable there?"i asked
"No"he sharply answered,he sounded harsh
"So why"he cut in
"I'm still mad at you"he said,that's what I thought
"You still don't believe me,don't you?"I asked
"You don't trust me Jax"I said
"I believe you,I trust you and I love you, I'm just still upset,that's all, everything will get normal tomorrow I guess"he said
"Jax"I called to him
"Yes babe"he answered
"I love you"I said
"I love you more Phoebe"he said.
