ANDREW POV

I kept trying Tara’s phone number, but it still kept going to voicemail. My heart wishing that she wasn’t gone… not just yet.

Time wasn’t on my side I felt helpless something inside me.

‘I’ve lost you for good… am sorry I pushed you away I don’t know what to do now my love.

Speechless by Dan Shay began to play on the radio and I increased the volume and started singing to the lyrics.

‘’You say you’ll be down in five.’’

''The smell of your perfume is floating downstairs.''

''You're fixing up your hair as you do.''

‘’I know I’ll be a mess the second that I see you.’’

‘’You won’t be surprised it happens every time.’’

‘’It’s nothing new it’s always a night like tonight.’’

‘’I thank God you can read my mind, cause when you look at me with those eyes.’’

TARA POV

I placed my hand over my heart it was beating fast. Tears rolled down my cheeks.

‘’Andrew’’ I whispered. I kept searching around the airport I couldn’t see him.

I had a strong feeling in my heart that he was calling me to go back to him, but it was too late nothing was going to change between us. My flight was due in twenty minutes.

 ANDREW POV

I stepped on the gas pedal to accelerate the car. I felt it in my heart Tara was calling out my name, yet it felt miles away. She had rejected my calls.

‘’Without you in my life Tara my whole world would shatter and turn black and white.’’

I still remember the day you punched me when I caught you taking pictures of me. I won’t let you go Tara Watson not that easily. Finding you was effortless, but letting you walk out of my life isn’t that simple.

‘’Today I want to make you a promise you’ll meet the true Andrew Jameson the man you fell in love with.’’

And the man who will one day make you his wife and the mother of his kids.

Once you fall in love there’s no going you’d literary do all you can to make that person happy.

When Camille died I stopped believing in love it never existed in my vocabulary. I wasn’t sure if I could ever open my heart up to fall in love. My dark past was like, a dark cloud hovering over my head.

Love is dangerous and also precious, it’s like both sides of a coin heads or tails. I wasn't giving up on you Tara you mean the world to me without you in it, I'd be a wandering lost soul on this earth.

I glanced at my wristwatch only twelve minutes were left. I was going to make it I felt it in my gut. I felt the adrenaline pumping in my veins sending a thrill down my spine.

I made a sharp turn. I didn’t like violating the road rules, but I was desperate I couldn’t waste the little time I had.

When I saw the airport logo approaching a smile appeared on my face. A few minutes later I parked my car and got out of the vehicle. Taking a deep breath to calm my unsettling nerves.
